Dr. Jason Hencler was born and raised in RI. He earned his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After which, Dr. Hencler completed a 2 year residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Providence, RI where he earned an Advance Education in Pediatric Dentistry certificate.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry is a pediatric dentist whose credentials have been verified, who has successfully completed voluntary examinations, and who demonstrates specialized knowledge and skill. I had an amazingly great first time experience there today. They're all friendly, caring and nice. My sons 3 years old and they was super sweet and patient with him.

The doctor and dental assistant are phenomenal. They make you feel comfortable and relaxed. They communicate well throughout the whole appointment. Will always recommend Pediatric Dental to any friends and family.

Had a great experience with this office! Tara and the doctor were so sweet with my 4 year old. This was her first trip to the dentist and she was very nervous but it went 300x better than I could have expected. Nice welcoming atmosphere as well!

We've been to our share of pediatric dentists in RI. We've had ok experiences and not ok experiences. The reason I reached out to PDC of RI is because of what I heard and read on Dr Hencler. My youngest (4) was nothing short of literally traumatized by an experience we had. The experience was due to a multiple reasons. She has now mentioned at least once a day she's never going back. I someone how tricked her into giving Hencler a shot and I'm so glad it worked out. All the staff was AMAZING. The other patients even seemed to add positive happiness to the atmosphere. My little one didn't have anything done just yet but I now trust it'll be a MUCH easier process.

My daughter has been going to Dr Jason A LOT since she was 2.5 yrs old she's now 15. Dr Jason is THE BEST dentist and so is her hygenist my daughter will never go anywhere else until she's too old(cut off age for pediatric dentistry)to be seen by them we love them!!!

Staff is awful, they make you stay in your car and call to get inside. Covid is over people. Go somewhere else.

Today was my daughter's first visit. She goes to school with Dr. Hencler's son. It was the best experience we've had at a dental office. The hygienist we had was wonderful. She took her time with with my daughter, explaining what they're doing and why. My 9yo actually LIKED being there and enjoyed learning new facts about teeth. Dr. Hencler is also fabulous. In our experience, most dentists are in and out, without even bothering to say hello to the child. Not this dentist. He also took his time and made my daughter feel comfortable. He answered my many questions (this was our first visit). Word has already spread, so make your appointments early! Thanks for such a great visit!

Today was my almost 3 year old's first dental visit, and it was a great experience! Kendra and Dr. Hencler were very good with her and kept her at ease the entire time. Now that we're back home, she keeps asking me to bring her back. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience for her, and would definitely recommend!
