Dr. Lynn Karr is a native of northwest Indiana. Both she and her husband graduated from Munster High School in 1991. Dr. Karr graduated with honors and was awarded the athlete of the year award in 1991 for her academic and athletic achievements. In 1995, she graduated from Purdue University, West Lafayette with highest distinction. She completed Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1999. Throughout dental school, she was actively involved in outreach programs for children. Some of her experiences included treating children in underserved communities of the Amish in Goshen, IN as well as Aurora, Colorado. Following five years of practice as a general dentist, she went on to further her education and skills and pursue her love of working with children. Dr. Karr embraces children with a welcoming smile and a soft touch. She wants every child to love coming to the dentist and love their smile!
Dr. Lynn Karr attended The University of Illinois at Chicago Hospital Residency Program where she completed her specialty degree in pediatrics. Dr. Karr has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years and resides in her hometown, Munster, with her husband and two young daughters. When she is not buzzing around from softball games, tennis lessons and gymnastics, Dr. Karr enjoys traveling with her family, reading, running and digital scrapbooking.

Meet Dr. Kara Clark! Dr. Clark is passionate about helping children have positive dental experiences and healthy smiles. She embraces her profession with joy and happiness because of her love in working with children. She enjoys forming lifelong relationships with patients based on trust, kindness, and compassion. Her goal is to be a positive influence in children's lives and to empower them to take pride in their smiles and their oral health.
Dr. Clark is also a native of northwest Indiana. She obtained her Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Michigan. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University. After working as a general dentist for two years, Dr. Clark decided to follow her passion and specialize in Pediatrics. She completed her Pediatric Dental Residency at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, where she was appointed and served as Chief Resident. When she is not treating small smiles, Dr. Kara Clark enjoys reading, traveling and recreational outdoor activities.
I was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. I have worked at PDCI since 2014, and I love that I get to continue to build relationships with our patients. I am a mom of 2 boys, and I enjoy spending all my free time with them and Lexi, our family dog.
Im new to northwest Indiana from California, and Im excited to be a part of the PDCI team! Ive been in the dental field for 8 years and enjoy working with children the most. On my free time I like to travel, try new restaurants, and anything artistic.
I was born and raised in northwest Indiana, I went to IUN for Dental Assisting School. I love working for Pediatric Dental Care and truly enjoy working with and helping children every day! During my free time I keep busy with my children and enjoy family activities.
I am originally born and raised in TX but am now residing in northwest Indiana. I am an IUN Dental Assistant graduate and have 10 plus years of clinical experience in pediatric dentistry. In my free time I love to teach spin classes and enjoy spending time with my loved ones.
I have resided in Northwest Indiana throughout my life, and I began working at PDCI in 2020. I love working one on one with the Doctors and helping kids improve their oral hygiene by educating them on proper brushing and flossing techniques. In my free time I love to spend time with my family, especially my 2 nephews.

Today was our first visit for my autistic three year old son and I cannot speak highly enough about this practice and staff! From the moment we walked in the door, each and every staff member was wonderful! Big smiles to welcome us for our first big boy experience at the dentist! Dr. Clark and Mackenzie took the time to show my son each of their tools and how they felt, they were so patient and accommodating to make this the best first trip to the dentist! I am so happy we found LMK, as we are newer to the area, I cannot recommend enough! Thank you all for being so amazing at what you do!

Wow, my son acted a fool, literally a fool but these women were so understanding and patient and kind. The dr and assistant were just simply amazing. Front desk is always so sweet and helpful also !

What a wonderful experience my daughter and I had today! My daughter needed a lot of work done and they will be able to do it all at her next appointment. We didn't need to go through a referral process or have to go to another place to get her teeth fixed and that was such a relief! I also noticed the little things they do to make it a cute experience for the kids. After my daughter's cleaning she got a token to get a little prize from a quarter machine. She also could sign her name with chalk on the chalk wall. I had a great experience and I would recommend this place to everyone.

So glad we found Dr. Karr. My kids no longer fear going to the dentist, despite the extensive work they have had to have done. She is so comforting and compassionate. she explains everything well & about an hour after we leave the kids are all smiles. My son had 3 teeth pulled today. He is a pretty sensitive kid & despite the initial tears he now feels sooo much better. He even thanked us for taking him. They fit us in right away & now my son is smiling instead of hurting or scared anticipating his visit. I honestly cannot say enough great things about the entire team at Pediatric Dental!

Dr. Karr and her staff have been amazing so far! We have some dental complications and were referred by our family dentist. Dr. Karr walked us through the procedure and answered every question. When my daughter had her dental work completed today the staff were all amazing. They frequently encouraged her and commented on how great she was doing. They included her and tried to explain what they were doing. We look forward to continuing at the office for cleanings going forward to get specialized pediatric care while my girls are little.

I brought my 2yo son here for a second opinion because we had a very negative experience at a different dentist and I would just like to say that this place is amazing. They have already gone above and beyond for me and my son. They are all amazing. Every single person I met was so kind and so patient with my son. I want to just give the biggest thank you to Dr. Clark, Mackenzie and Jessica. You all helped my son and I feel so comfortable and happy to just be there. I have already raved about how amazing you all are. Thank you again so much for being such wonderful people. Will definitely be coming to you guys from now on.

Everyone was very nice and friendly. They made our first visit very comfortable and made us feel welcome. Dr. Karr was very informative when I asked questions. She explained everything to me and told my 7 year old what she was doing in terms that my daughter could understand. Our assistant was very nice and she also explained what she was doing. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We definitely making them our home dentist for my girls.

Over the weekend my 2 year-old fell and broke his front tooth - they were able to squeeze us into the schedule the next day! I was freaking out, but they were very patient, friendly, and knowledgeable for a toddler's first dental experience! Dr. Clark and the assistants were awesome. Definitely will recommend!

After being a patient at another pediatric dentist for years, I can tell you that Dr. Karr is wonderful. On time appointments, kind hygienists, and Dr. Karr listens and makes the kids so comfortable. Wish I would have found her for my kids years ago!

Best kid dentist I have ever been. It's clean and modern! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I drive quite a distance for this dentist and it's worth it! Both Dr. Karr and Dr. Clark are amazing! I definitely recommend them - you won't be disappointed!!

My almost 3 year old daughter had a dental emergency. This office came highly recommended by multiple friends. From the moment we walked into the office, we were greeted with such kindness and patience. Dr. Clark and staff was so amazing and helped ease all my worries and nerves. She was very informative and helpful with making the situation less traumatic for all of us. We are so grateful to this wonderful office and highly recommend them.

Edit** I went to 2 other local dentists And decided on Dr Ladd in Schererville however these guys just wanted to pull my daughters teeth and be done with it.. Both other drs strongly recommended against doing such Nice staff but very unclear on ins coverage. Both of my insurances were run and all ins was provided and they really couldn't tell me anything about coverage. They insisted it was better to wait till next year because everything zeros out and more is available. That made sense but not knowing anything about my coverage at all? I've never had this happen before at any of my other Children's dentists.. As well as they work with an outsourced independent for anesthesia and require 2400 up front because the provider they choose takes no insurance what so ever so you have to wait on being reimbursed. if you need a basic cleaning here you're probably fine but if your child needs anything major done you can for sure find better options.
