Dr. Morris D. Alexander, known to his patients as Dr. Buzz, is a native of Savannah, Tennessee. After graduating from University of Memphis with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, he attended dental school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Buzz spent two additional years enrolled in their pediatric dentistry post-doctoral program to become a pediatric dentist. This specialized program of study and hands-on experience prepared him to meet the unique needs of infants, children, and teens, including persons with special needs.
To stay current with the newest advancements in the pediatric dental field, Dr. Buzz remains committed to continuing education. This involves taking advanced courses in pediatric dentistry,conscious sedation, and many other topics. He is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, Southern Society of Pediatric Dentists, and the Tennessee Association of Pediatric Dentistry.
After graduating, Dr. Buzz joined a practice on the big island of Hawaii for approximately two years. He missed Tennessee so much and decided to return home. Dr. Buzz has always loved Franklin so he decided to make it his home, and has been serving the Williamson County community for more than 30 years.

Dr. Buzz is a conservative doctor: he will always recommend what is best for your childs specific concerns, developing a treatment approach that establishes oral health and then maintains it, for life!
Dr. Buzzand his team believe that working with children is an enormous privilege. We expect kids to be kids not little adults and love each child for their wonderful unique personality and the energy they bring into our lives!

I brought all three of my children to this office for the first time, and couldn't be happier with the care we received! We recently moved to Tennessee and were looking for a new pediatric office, and Doctor Buzz and his staff did everything they could to make sure it was an enjoyable visit. My youngest is typically terrified of the dentist, but her hygienist, Ali, did an amazing job making her feel comfortable, and she also thought the sunglasses were pretty cool. I Would definitely recommend this office to anyone searching for a pediatric dentist in the Nashville area!

We adore Dr Buzz and his office staff! We have been patients of his for about 5 years now and they are always so warm and welcoming at every visit. The office staff are super friendly and competent. The hygienists do an amazing job at making kids feel at ease while in the dental chair. Dr Buzz is just great with the kids! I especially love his conservative approach when it comes to dental recommendations and treatment. Overall we are so pleased with Dr Buzz and his whole office.

Dr. Buzz and his team are amazing. Our son was 4yo and had 4 cavities to repair. We were terrified how will all go but Dr Buzz and his team made it super pleasant. I would recommend this office for kids of all age.

Our little guy had his first dental appointment today at 8.5 months. From the time we walked in the door until we left we felt so welcomed. Autumn, our dental hygienist was better than the best! Can't wait to see Autumn, Dr. Buzz and the team in 6 months!

There is no comparison to this practice. They are compassionate, knowledgeable and skilled at what they do. The entire experience from start to finish is wonderful. My child is more than happy to come to the dentist. I love knowing he won't have any dental anxiety as an adult because of how gentle and pleasant Dr. Buzz is with him. Top notch. Can't say enough.

Staff is always wonderful with our kids and with calls from me to re-schedule. Check-in is easy with online forms ahead of time. Had Miss Jennifer for the first time today and she was great. I even let the staff know on the way out how much we enjoyed her. She was relating to the kids, listened to them and helped explain everything.

I have twin boys that have an irrational fear of the dentist. They cry, scream, hide, etc. The staff has been so patient with them and worked through all of the fear and now the boys LOVE going to the dentist. The hygienists are amazing and I like that Dr. Buzz is conservative and only recommends what we need and is not just in it to make money. The office is fun and the staff is efficient.

My kids love Dr. Buzz and Mariah, but their entire office is amazing! They are so kind and patient with the kiddos! My 3 year old just had a checkup and was all smiles the entire time! I'm very impressed and would highly recommend!

We just moved here and Dr. Buzz office was able to accommodate my four children, quickly. Today we were seen and wow the kids loved Dr. Buzz and his staff everyone was awesome. I was surprised how my kids were comfortable with Dr. Buzz and his staff. We will definitely use them again and in fact this will be my kids new dentist.

I took my son to see Dr. Buzz today. He had several baby teeth that would just not fall out. After the cleaning, Dr Buzz recommended that he have these teeth extracted so the permanent teeth would have more room to come in. We were able to have these teeth extracted today, and I have to tell you ... I have never been so impressed. Dr Buzz and staff could not have been more professional. My son chose not to have the laughing gas ( I was a little nervous about that) but he did great ! Dr Buzz and Ashley the assistant, went above and beyond to make sure my son was comfortable before pulling the teeth. The entire experience from the beginning to the check out could not have been more organized and professional. I will most definitely be recommending this office to everyone!!!

My son (he's 4) had his first visit with Dr. Buzz. First off, as soon as you walk in you're greeted and feel so welcomed. My son is usually nervous around new things but he wasn't here. Ms. Mariah took care of cleaning his teeth and walked him through it all. She took such great care of him with cleaning and his X-rays. Everyone I came in contact with was so delightful and so friendly! I'm so excited that I went with Dr. Buzz's office because this was by far the best experience I've ever encountered! Thank you for taking such great care of my Monster Truck loving boy!
