Upon completion of dental school at Temple University, Dr. Melini completed a pediatric residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. He established his first practice in Chester County. During this time, he treated the children and adolescents of many Chester and Delaware County families. Dr. Melini established the Dental Day Surgery Program at Chester County Hospital. He eventually was named Chairman of the Dental Department there, and has remained Chairman ever since.
As his practice began to grow in size, it became more and more difficult to maintain the individual relationships he so valued among his patients and their families. More and more dentists were required to meet the daily needs of patients. The days of a smaller office and individual attention were sorely missed. Recently, a management company offered him a way to return to his original practice style - a solo office. Glen Mills seemed to be the logical location to begin his new venture as a result of its convenient location.
Dr. Melini is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, where he is the liaison for the eastern part of the state. He has been recognized by Mainline Today and Philadelphia Magazine as one of the 'Top Pediatric Dentists' in the area for many years.

Dr. Melini and his staff are absolutely the best! My daughter had been going to a different dentist and had scary experiences and became afraid to go to the dentist until we started going to Dr. Melini. He and his staff are so kind and patient especially with a child that is fearful. My daughter did a 360 in a very short period of time and we are so grateful that she is no longer afraid to go to the dentist!

Such a great experience. The front desk staff, hygienist, and Dr. Jeff were all amazing and very thorough! The place is absolutely beautiful and the game room is really cool. Highly recommend!!

As always, we had a great experience! Gabby was very patient with our non cooperative toddler and helped encourage him throughout the cleaning. The entire staff is always so interactive with our kids and my boys look forward to "seeing our friends at the dentist".

We always have a great experience at Pediatric Dental Associates of Glen Mills! Alicia, our hygienist, and Dr. Jeff were so patient and personable with my 2 toddlers. The atmosphere is amazing & my boys actually enjoy going to the dentist. Highly recommend!

We were referred to this practice from our original dentist to treat out 6year old son for cavities. Our initial consultation seemed promising and then we had to come back for the actually filling. The doctor selected an early morning time slot and said they could only be completed in the earlier morning hours for kids of his age. My son had two cavities and at the appointment only 1 was filled. Mind you, parents are not aloud to accompany the children for filling appointments. My son, who isn't a huge fan of the dentist, as many children aren't, struggled to cooperate. So then we had to schedule an additional appointment. At this second appointment, the dentist didn't even try for the filling and simply painted on a temporary fix on a permanent tooth, then we had to go back a SECOND time to get another coating. Between the two appointments we were encouraging our son and getting him mentally ready to tackle the actual filling because that's what we assumed what would happen, and he was ready, then the doc didn't even try! He saw my son for 5 minutes and pushed him out the door. Mind you, through all of this, I moved both our kids to this practice and scheduled both of them for routine cleaning appointments for later in Sept. My husband and I both very upset at the service and lack of patience for young children led us to get a 2nd opinion on the cavity. We requested our X-rays be sent over to another practice and because of that, we have been dropped from the practice. Now, as we all know with getting into any new practice for new appointments, my kids will miss their routine 6 month cleaning because we were dropped over getting a 2nd opinion. HORRIBLE service and would never recommend this practice!

I'm so happy we found this office! Everyone here is wonderful. My kids love going to the dentist. Even during covid when they couldn't play games. Hygienists are amazing, patience even when my daughter on the spectrum wants to help! And Dr Jeff is wonderful.

I would like to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to Dayna Cavanagh!!! I don't have words to express how grateful I am of my experience with her. My insurance changed and my new carrier is out-of-network. My family and I just love Pediatric Dental Associates and wanted to see if we could still make it work. Dayna helped me through this process with ease. She was so knowledgeable!! After countless calls with my insurance and getting no results. Dayna SAVES the day and jumps on a conference call with me and my insurance company. I must of have called their office and spoke with Dayna 10+ times. The support she offered was above and beyond! She was always so friendly and kind. She never hesitated with any of my questions and never once seemed annoyed with me calling back. Thank you so much Dayna for all your support!!! We are so happy that we are able to continue going to Pediatric Dental Associates!!

By far the best experience my 7 and 5 year old have had at a dentist office! So happy my doctors office recommended this dentist. Never thought my kids would be so happy after an appointment at the dentist. The prize wall is something they will look forward to for our next visit!

I wouldn't even consider another dentist for my kids. The office is fun and welcoming and the staff is unbelievable. In pediatric dentistry fear is often part of the experience for the patient and parent but they take that out of the equation. Dr Jeff diagnoses based on knowledge and honesty and doesn't prey on parental vulnerability. As a mom of a child with anxiety I can tell you that they handle things appropriately and do everything they can to comfort scared kiddos. I literally could go on and on. This is the dentist you need for your kids.

All the staff was extremely friendly and nice, took the extra time. My kids were blown sways by the really cool office. Dr Jeff really enjoys what he does and took the time to make the experience really special for my young daughter.
