Although I am no longer actively treating patients my passion is to see the best possible treatment for every child our office sees. Anything less is not an option to me. I strive for perfection in my work, and over the past 30+ years being involved in professional dentistry, I have picked up a great many tools to achieve this. I enjoy my time at the office every day because it means the possibility to exceed all our patients expectations.

It has been a long road, but how can I offer any less when I have benefited from phenomenal care myself? I grew up loving hockey. When I was but a child, my older brother checked me so hard he fractured some of my teeth in a match I shall never forget. After many, many visits to the local pediatric dentist, I was left with a brilliant smile that denied the incident ever existed. Still, the imprint it left on me was an unwavering interest in pediatric dentistry. I want to give back to people in a similar way.

I received my undergraduate degree from the American International College and then went to both the Indiana University School of Dentistry and the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine for my formal training in the field. Iwas a clinical instructor at the University of Connecticut and enjoyed teaching there part-time for 20 years. I also enjoyed staff privileges at several local hospitals.

Obviously, continuing education is very important to me. It allows me to offer the very best and also to help the next crop of dentists to be prepared to offer the high-quality care that I demand in my own practice. There is no single procedure that works for each person because of its own merit and it would be a disservice to you if I treated you with such a mindset. I believe that my work can be life changing if done well, and I always mean to do my work well.

I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania where I graduated magna cum laude. Next, I went to Tufts University School of Dental Science for my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I maintained my academic excellence, graduating summa cum laude. I completed my postgraduate work in pediatric dentistry, earning my Master of Science degree from the Ohio State University. I have beena memberof the team at Pediatric Dental Associates for 12 years.

I take numerous courses yearly to stay up-to-date with advances in dentistry. I focus on restorative, preventive, and pediatric dentistry. I am very interested in evidence-based research, because it's important to me that whatever treatments I offer be proven to stand up to my high standards. I have found continuing education to be absolutely necessary in providing you with the highest quality dentistry available, which is the only kind I want to provide.

I am a clinician responsible for your cleanings and oral health education. Helping you prevent any future problems from cropping up is my primary goal. I also order and research products for our clinic. I make sure we are equipped with the best to offer you the highest quality dental service. I enjoy any time I can spend with my husband, our sons, and our many different pets. We love nature and frequently go on hikes, bike rides, or play in the snow.

I assist the doctors as they do a variety of procedures including restorations and sterilizations. I also help with patient education and office maintenance. My favorite part of this job is working with you and having a phenomenal team at my back. I love providing compassionate care that is patient centered, which is exactly what you'll find at our office. I have three children and enjoy photography, scrap-booking, and shopping. Best of all I am a former patient of the office!

I assist our doctors with restorative procedures, radiology, and office maintenance. I also lend a hand to some patient education. I am dedicated to you and this office. I live in Connecticut and stay in close communication with my two grown sons who both just recently graduated college. I am a huge Patriots fan and never miss a game.

I love working at Pediatric Dental Associates! I split my time working with both the clinical staff as a certified dental assistant and administrative staff at the front desk. I provide patients with many aspects of dental care. I enjoy my working relations with the doctors and the awesome patients that we see every day.I find each to be important in their own way and love interacting with them.
