  • Anjali Talati has trained in pediatric dentistry from Staten Island University hospital, New York. She received her doctorate and completed her training from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2005.

It takes more than technical skill to be a good childrens dentist. It takes compassion and commitment. Dr. George Lin has those traits in abundance. While making your child and you comfortable, he gets your child off on the right path to dental health in a practical, safe, and positive manner.

Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Philip Rutkowski is proud to be from the Midwest. He received his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at University of Michigan and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. While at U of M, Dr. Rutkowski was elected to the Michigan chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society for academic achievement and merit. After graduation, he moved to Chicago to start his career in dentistry.

Dr. Richard Klarck strives to create positive experiences for patients that will last a lifetime. He understands that each patient requires personalized care which is achieved through trust, and open communication between patients and their families. Dr. Klarcks favorite part about being a pediatric dentist is being able to play a role in patients developmental milestones while empowering patient independence.

Dr. Nay Soh grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She received her Bachelors degree in Biology and Marketing from Augustana College and her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. She completed her pediatric residency at UIC and in addition received her Masters degree in Oral sciences. She has been practicing pediatric dentistry for over 20 years.

Dr. Wale is an orthodontist. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. After completing a one-year General Practice Residency at NYU- Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn New York, he went on to complete a specialty training in Orthodontics and Dento-facial Orthopedics at the University of Maryland Baltimore. Here he earned a certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree.

A pedodontist is a dentist who has received advanced specialty training in meeting the dental needs of children from infancy to adolescence. Pedodontists, also referred to as pediatric dentists, during the course of their post graduate training extensively study child development and psychology, behavior management, caring for children with special needs, methods of handling oral/facial trauma, anesthesia and sedation methods, as well as develop a comprehensive understanding of facial growth and dental development. In addition to all of this, pedodontists acquire the hands-on clinical skills to successfully treat the dental needs of every child at every stage of development. Pedodontists truly enjoy working with children and strive to make each of their dental care experiences a positive one.

Even before your child is born, their first set of teeth is already forming. In fact, before they are a year old their new teeth will start to appear in their mouth. This is why maintaining their oral health becomes such an important consideration at such an early point in their lives. According to the American Dental Association parents are advised to have their baby see the dentist around the time of their first birthday.

Your babys first teeth will start to appear in the 6 to 12 month range. While this is an extraordinary milestone, you need to be aware that your baby may find the experience a little bit uncomfortable. Teething can make them feel irritable. They may be fussy, have trouble sleeping, not want to eat, and be drooling quite a bit. While you are powerless to speed up the process of teething, there are a few things that you can do to soothe your baby as their new teeth are erupting into place. Common approaches to helping your baby feel more comfortable while getting their new teeth include teething rings or a cold spoon or moist gauze rubbed over their gums. Even for these few new teeth, it is important to establish an oral healthcare regimen for your baby. For information on when your babys first set of teeth will erupt into place, consult this time line from the American Dental Association.

Some children persist in sucking their thumbs or fingers beyond their preschool years. For these children the activity continues to be a source of comfort, relaxation, and security. It may even help them fall asleep at night. However, it is important as parents to be aware that if your childs thumb or finger sucking habit is still present when their permanent teeth come in, there is a greater chance of developing a bad bite. This means that if the activity has not ceased by the age of five or six years, you need to constructively and gently help your child stop the habit. It is also a good idea to have a comprehensive evaluation at this time. Your pedodontist can assess if there are any habit related alterations to the alignment of your childs teeth or jaws, or if it is affecting their speech or swallowing patterns. They can also discuss habit control strategies with you, as well as follow your childs bite and facial development as they grow. If there are recommendations that interceptive appliances or corrective orthodontic care is required, the pedodontist will discuss these with you.

Had to schedule an appointment weeks in advance, take off work, and pull my child out of school only for them to not have the insurance info I quoted to the woman on the phone a dozen times! I was told I'd have to pay out of pocket. If your front desk can't manage info I had to give to them a dozen times over the phone because they couldn't understand and then lost it and made us have to miss school and work for nothing I'll find an office who has a staff that can manage their front end.

We LOVE this practice and drive over 40 minutes to see Dr. Talati, Dr. Lin and the amazing staff. They are kind, welcoming, patient and treat our 4 kids with respect. Zina at the front desk is so friendly and helpful and is always smiling. We trust the dentists and hygienists and would recommend Pediatric Dental Associates to any family!

Moved and had trouble getting past the poor front desk / scheduling. Poor customer service/ did not feel welcomed by staff.. Did not have a good rapport with assistants. And last telephone call with office manager made it an easy decision to leave Dr. Lynn, a trusted professional, to start with someone new and closer to home.

Took my daughter here for her first pediatric dentist appointment and she had the best doctor's appointment ever. My daughter was really nervous going into her appointment but they made it a stress free experience for her. They made it a point to engage with her about her interests and made her comfortable throughout the process.

Be careful what they say based on your insurance. They don't give correct info. Even after looking at your insurance they say it is covered 100% but later on you may receive bill after 2-3 month and they will say we did these things and those are NOT covered 100%. And for my case they say X-ray is covered 100% and then later they say we did 4 x-ray and only 2 are covered 100%. Though i specifically asked to do the services which are 100% covered. This happened to me twice here. I will never recommend this place due to all this billing issues.

Dr Talati and her entire staff is excellent! Very professional but at the same time they make it fun for the kids.. They not only take the time to explain everything to the parents but also make sure that kids know the importance of good dental hygiene. I have been taking both my boys to Pediatric Dental Associates for over 4 years now and I would highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Talati and Dr. Justin are amazing! Yesterday my daughter had a filling fall out in her baby tooth and Dr. Talati saw her right away. When she took X-rays she saw that she needed to have that tooth extracted and the one next to it also needed a filling. She stayed late and took care of both issues right away so that my daughter wouldn't be in pain! She's so sweet and caring and goes above and beyond. Dr. Justin saw my son the same day when he bumped his face and had a loose tooth. We also really like the hygienists there! This is the ONLY place I'd take my kids for pediatric dentistry and I'm a physician so I'm kind of picky!

Really appreciate how patient the staff is with my kids. They think outside of the box when it comes to easing fears about dental care and make the experience fun for my kids.

I was referred to Pediatric Dental Associates for my 4 year old daughter, who had gotten her front top two teeth knocked back. Having been to a dentist before with her, she hasn't had the best experience. Makenna (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) answered the phone and made me feel like everything will be ok. She was so sweet and patient with me, she even asked what my daughter is into so she would be excited to be at the dentist! Over all it was a great experience for both of us thanks to the staff!

Dr Lin is awesome. He is the best dentist I have ever worked with. I am lucky to have found him. My sister is handicapped and he is the only dentist that could work on her teeth and keep her calm. from the tv to the flavored toothpaste she is comfortable while her teeth are cared for. Thank you Dr Lin!

I was in a bind, and Pediatric Dental went above and beyond to help me! They didn't have to, but they did, and I was so grateful!

My daughter had be undiagnosed for 13 months after seeing over 9 different pediatricians and a ENT for swallowing issues. None of the doctors identified the problem but they dismissed our concerns as reflux. I kept pushing for answers until finally a SLP realized our baby had ties. My baby had a history of frequent choking or near choking episodes since birth. Every bottle of breastmilk we gave her always had us on the edge of our seats because of her choking issues. I had to pump breastmilk for 14 months because she couldn't latch properly to obtain adequate milk. She couldn't eat any food without gagging, vomiting, spitting out, and eventually refusing to eat. She didn't sleep well at all, and I could barely put her down or step away due to "colic-like" fussiness. Dr. George Lin discovered she indeed had severe Class 4 posterior tongue and lip ties. I wish we had been diagnosed sooner so that we could've avoided all the issues we've experienced for the last 14 months. Once the frenectomies were done, we noticed immediate improvements in all the issues we did have before! Her speech was even more clear. We have continued going to feeding therapy for 3 weeks now with an SLP certified in Orofacial Myology, and now our Daughter can eat table foods and drink liquids without issues! We're so very thankful for Dr. Lin fixing our baby's ties! He did an excellent job, and the procedure was only seconds!

We've been bringing our four kids to Pediatric Dental Associates for over five years. Though we live on the northwest side of Chicago -- and it is a little bit of a drive -- Dr. Talati and her team's professionalism and excellent rapport with the kids makes the drive worth it!

Dr. Bindi and the hygienist were absolutely amazing with my 5.5 year old who need a cavity filled. I was so nervous about how he would respond and have never seen anyone more relaxed that my son. Highly recommend this practice - we switched from another practice two years ago and have never looked back!

We absolutely love this dentist for our kids! My daughter really struggle the first few times I tried to take her to my dentist (lots of tears for everyone! ) But she loves going to the dentist now!!! Everyone is so friendly, gentle, and caring. TVs are tuned to cartoons and even on the ceiling! Totally Covid safe with lots of precautions (temperature check, air filters, etc, etc). I would recommend them to anyone!

Horrible. I brought my two year old daughter in for fillings where she would have to be put under anesthesia. I was told no food or drink for 6 hours. We needed to be there at 10:20 am she the last time she ate was dinner the night before. I showed up at 10:15 like I was told. They had us come in and we sat for about 45 mins before they sent me and my screaming toddler back to my car where we were told "only another 30 mins". 45 mins passed and finally I went inside (again with my screaming child who was beyond thirsty for a sip of water that I couldn't give her) and they informed me that it would be another 20 minutes. It is now 12:47 and she just went back 15 mins ago... 2 hours past the time she was supposed to be seen. I will NEVER come back nor will I ever recommend this place again. I'm disgusted that they could make a 2 year old who is hungry and thirsty wait for over 2 hours. You just don't do that.
