Elise Burrus, DDS, was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from Boston College in 2005, with a degree in biology. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2009, and graduatedwith honors. Dr. Elisecompleted a two-year residency at Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin and received her pediatric dentistry certificate in 2011. Sheis a board-certified pediatric dentist.
David Burrus, DDS, was born and raised in Creswell. Dr. David attended Eastern Oregon University and Marquette University School of Dentistry. He completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2010, and graduatedwith honors. In dental school, Dr. David met his wonderful wifeElise. Following graduation, Dr. David pursued a two-year pediatric dental residency at Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin. He is a board-certified pediatric dentist.
Both of our dentists are certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.The ABPD certifies pediatric dentists based on standards of excellence that lead to high-quality oral health care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special health care needs.
Certification by the ABPD provides assurance to the public that a pediatric dentist has successfully completed accredited training and a voluntary examination process designed to validate the knowledge, skills, and experience requisite to the delivery of quality patient care.

I have been taking my kiddos here for 8 years. Not once has there been one negative thing. The staff and Dr. Elise and Dr. Dave are caring and genuine.

Both Dr. David Burris and Dr. Elise Burris are amazing with kids! All 3 of our daughters love going there and their staff are amazing also!

I truly believe that both Dr. Elise Burrus and Dr. David Burrus go out of their way to make the whole 'going to the dentist!' visit fun. And for those not so fun visits - extractions and fillings - they work extra hard to make it comfortable and safe. We love the whole team - dentists, hygienists, and office staff!

We came to pediatric dental associates as a referral from another dentist to get some cavities taken care of. I am so impressed with the whole office. They've made the whole process so easy, communicated so well with my son and made it so easy on us. I appreciate how efficiently they work and the environment they create. My son is happy to go back!

Dr. David was absolutely wonderful. They exceeded my expectations. I was very nervous about my sons first filling and they made both me and my son feel comfortable. You could tell their top priority was to make my son completely relaxed and comfortable with every part of the procedure. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

Dr David, Dr Elise, and their whole team are amazing!!! My 4yo daughter has had to get an extraction and a cavity filled and both experiences were super smooth. She was actually excited to go back the second time! The team does an amazing job of explaining the tools, being welcoming and friendly, and creating a positive environment for the kids. I am so impressed and recommend them to everyone who asks.

The care my children received from the hygienists and dentists was amazing. Trying to schedule an appointment that was accommodating to my family was almost impossible. They only do dental work on certain days and certain times of days - my child needed a cavity filled and the way the schedule worked she was going to have to get her filling done in the morning and then come back in the afternoon for a cleaning. When I called to cancel the appointment the receptionist was happier to hear we found another dentist than she was trying to assist me in finding a day/time that my child could get the dental care needed.

We have been coming here with our daughter since we moved to Bend when she was one. She is 6.5 now, and she LOOOVES coming to the dentist!! It is kind of hilarious, how excited she gets. We were there about a week ago in the beginning of February, and she had been asking everyday since the FALL when how many days until we would be going. She was not even doing that in anticipation for Christmas!! We had to make a paper chain as a countdown for coming to the dentist!! Malea has been my daughter's hygienist since she was a baby, she is so so so sweet, and loving, and gentle with her. She remembers her every time, despite seeing tons of kids. She does a wonderful job, and my daughter said it didn't even hurt to be flossed! (She was a bit nervous about the idea of that) Despite how excited she had been, she got a little nervous when it was time to climb in the chair. No worries, I laid down in the chair, and my daughter lays on me, and we are all set. (My friends go here also, and they do the same thing) There are TV sets on the ceiling, and the kids can pick a movie to watch. (Bring headphones, if you want audio!! They have provided them before, but because of Covid that is not an option) Dr Elise has always been my daughter's dentist. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. I was a nanny back in the day, and I have been to a LOT of pediatric dentists. She is by far the most patient, and kind dentist I have ever known. She is engaging with the kids before she examines them, which helps them to be more relaxed. She is always super gentle, and very complete with the examination. She makes sure if we have any questions, to go over them in detail. She is even patient with ME, and my excessively verbal ways. The office staff has always been wonderful. If I don't have time to make an appointment, they are really good about calling to remind me. Someone left a bad review recently, and I honestly wonder if it is for the correct business. If it WAS, maybe it is because as a medical office, they take covid seriously, and anyone coming in that is not a toddler would need a mask. I suppose this might offend someone. Personally, I appreciate that the staff takes it seriously. (My husband and I had to leave our adult dentist recently, because the dentist/ owner thought it was really cheeky and just fine that her head receptionist wore a mesh mask, assuring me that mesh counts as a piece of "fabric" it was "technically" following OSHA guidelines!) The hardest part about us going to Pediatric Dental Associates has been getting my daughter to LEAVE. (This has been made slightly easier by the VW bus being unavailable to play inside because of covid. But it is still hard) I sincerely wish Dr Elise could be MY DENTIST. (I am still looking for one after the incident at 7 Peaks)

NOT A FAMILY ORIENTED PLACE, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILD'S WELL BEING, I VERY STRONGLY SUGGEST FINDING JUST ABOUT ANY OTHER DENTIST OFFICE FOR YOUR CHILDREN. I HAVE NEVER HAD A WORSE EXPERIENCE WITH A PEDIATRIC DENTIST THAN THE EXPERIENCE WE HAD HERE.
