We have had 2 children attending PDAO in Fayetteville. Our 2nd child was just informed after a 2nd opinion was given that PDAO unnecessarily pulled 4 adult teeth from my daughters mouth. This also led to disqualification from coverage by her insurance. They wanted us to pay $5000 for her braces. The second opinion given today by a new orthodontist was that PDAO had made not only a painful but expensive mistake. Do NOT take your child here they are just looking to make a buck.

I'd give zero stars if I could. This place supports domestic violence.

Went once. My 5 yr old had crown done here. She was screaming the whole time. She said it was hurting so much. When I said I don't think that's normal, lady said it's fine it's just pressure. Dentists didn't even bother checking if everything was fine. We're done with this place.

Second time coming here and it's been awful. Both times the hygienist have been so rude. It's a pediatric clinic so you would think they would be geared and helpful and friendly with children right? My child is 13 and was in tears when we left. Won't be coming back and will be seeking care somewhere else.

Note: this review was from the height of the pandemic, when transmission rates were high, vaccination rates were low, and most places required masks and distancing... Just FYI, but for those concerned about COVID, there seems to be little to no protocols in place. Putting a lot of trust in both patients and staff that they are 100% fully vaccinated as no one wore masks...

I have been going here for the past three or so years of my life, and it has been HORRIBLE. My mother had switched me over here because it was supposed the best in NWA, but it isn't. On many occasions, I have left my appointments with dozens of cuts in my mouth, once the corners of my mouth cut and bleeding, and swollen gums to the point where I couldn't eat. After a few visits I had asked my mother to stop the fluoride treatments, and we had pressed "no" on the tablets, yet during the service, they would ignore our request and continued applied fluoride. On a more recent incident, they had loudly expressed that i had cavities to my mother, loudly explain what they were and all - this was offensive and unnecessary to us as my mother's English definitely not being the best, yet understandable. On this same trip, they at first said I had two, later four, and out of nowhere while checking out said FIVE. Later while visiting family, we visited another dentist, who explained that it was only two and fixed it himself. At my next appointment, and supposedly my last, they were visibly upset over this and criticize his work after I had explained that I got it done with another dentist who we trusted. Because of all these incidents done to me, my mother has decided not to put my younger brother through the torture I went through at this office.

Great experience for the kids. Bright colors and animal statues everywhere. Video games and TV with headphones during the dentist chair part. Treated my kids with kindness and dignity which is always my primary concern as a parent. The exam and teeth cleaning was thorough and they my kids even had fun. When a three year old is looking forward to their next dentist appointment you know that something is being done right!

We are new to Arkansas and this was my 13 year old first visit to this dentist and we look forward to going back. My son loved the video games in the lobby, we enjoyed the fun farm theme and the TV's on the ceiling kept my son from being nervous. I appreciated the dentist addressing my concerns and reassuring me that we have plenty of time for baby teeth to fall out naturally. This is the beauty of seeing a dentist every 6 months, if things change and need to be fixed we can do it then. I wanted to add that this is the first time ever that my son has not complained about his mouth hurting after a cleaning. The dental hygienist was amazing.

Very very rude front staff. Have a young girl telling people how to wear wear masks in a rude way and you will be talked down to. She even left her seat to come to the lobby and babysit adults and got on to anyone she deemed not wearing a mask "right". Ridiculous. Will be getting records and switching dental offices that treat their patients better.

We will not be going back. They wouldnt allow my sons dad to bring our 8 year in for my 6 year olds appointment so we let him go by his self, just to see what needs to be done. They came back and said the tooth was infected and needed to be pulled and said they could do it today. I wasnt for allowing that to happen without being there, but she assured me that if he got anxious or anything they would stop and reschedule it for another time. When they came out he was crying and she even said it didnt go very well. As a parent I was hesitant and didnt like the idea, but being assured of something and then lied to makes me never trust another person at this practice or any other practice. I never allow my kids to go anywhere without me and the one time I allow it, this happens. Never again.

They have poor customer service. They have to scan all family members that are on the vehicle even if only two are going inside. Scan is enforce to all vehicle occupants or they will cancel your appointment.

My child loves going here to the dentist. It's great. She is entertained while having her dental stuff done.

Staff was friendly enough but they pressured me into holding my child down against his will during his first appointment when he was understandably scared and it only added to the trauma of the event. If you are ok with physically restraining your terrified child then no judgement and you may like it here because they are friendly enough for the most part and they have some cool bells and whistles but if you go for a more gentle parenting style I don't recommend it. We both just cried in the car after the appointment.

This was our 2 1/3-year-old's first teeth cleaning and exam and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. He was mesmerized by the fun barnyard decor in the waiting area. Wait time was short. The hygienist was personable and efficient. The doctor was thorough and friendly. At the end, our son got a little toy and a new toothbrush and was excited to come back. PDAO is a well-oiled machine and perfect for little kiddos. Thanks so much!

I entered my daughter in the #pdaonthego. This contest is where you had to snap a few pics of your kid holding their dentist's photos at a few different places during the summer. My daughter has lots of health issues so she can't go many places because of that and for the mire fact that we don't have much money to go lots of cool places or on vacations during the summer. With that being said, we still managed to snap a few cute pictures of her at her favorite places in the world! The Children's hospital Northwest and ACH in Little Rock during the summer but she lost the contest because PDOA picked a family that had been to way more places than we had been. It broke my daughter's heart and hurt her self esteem when she lost because we felt that her pictures were exactly what the contest asked for. It upsets me because it seems like the more money the child had to go on vacations or go to other fun places that cost money this summer (that some kids don't have the luxury of being able to do) the easier it was for that child to win the contest. What about our sick and poor children that couldn't go anywhere this summer?
