While it is not always easy to keep children on top of dental care, we can also help parents/guardians learn effective tips and tricks for proper dental care at home. With our regular cleanings, we can also help keep children on the right track for healthy teeth while growing up.

Should you go to the dentist during covid? Well I think you should if it's Pediatric dental arts. Preventative care is a ton cheaper than intrusive procedures - plus it gets your kids used to having good oral hygiene habits. Existing patients: call ahead and figure out anything billing or insurance related things you need to take care of. The rest is just calling into the office and wait in your car. The staff will call you back when they're ready. Ain't it nice to not have to worry about parking? The waiting room used to have kids movies streaming, an arcade room, and some tactile toys for kids 0-2. There is now no waiting. Your family goes in, stays separated from others, and gets in a fully wiped down room. You can tell from bleach stains on the protective covers of things. The room you're in has its own HEPA air purifier. At least that's what it looks like to me. The dental hygienist's gear is all covered before use. The stuff that is reused they definitely sanitize - then another part they just have disposal procedures. Some staff members will have a faceshield+ facemask combo. Everyone will have facemasks. You will exit the building in a different direction than you entered. You know there are other rooms with patients but you never encounter them. I had two kids in at 10:25 on a Saturday - they were (2) out with smiles after some cleaning at 10:45. We were not the first in.

My daughter is almost 3 years old and we just had her second dentist appointment at Pediatric Dental Arts. I can't say enough good things about this place! Both times we had a very positive experience, my daughter loves the play area in the waiting room, and everyone who works there is great. The first time we went, I didn't know what to expect because we had never gone to a dentist with her before, but she did so well and I was super pumped about that. The second time we went, we saw the same hygienist (Chandler) and my daughter was oddly very nervous and apprehensive this time. Chandler was so great with her, never rushed or pushed her and answered every single "What's that?!" question my daughter asked about every single thing in the room. Once my daughter finally felt comfortable enough we went through with the cleaning and she even asked to have her teeth brushed again! I am so appreciative that Chandler was so sweet to my little girl and took the time to show her everything she was going to do before she did it! Also, my daughter loved brushing the dragon's teeth! Overall, I'd definitely recommend Pediatric Dental Arts to anyone with a child!

The office is clean and kid friendly. De.Raffa is very professional and I really trust her with my three kids. Although we moved away we are still driving a hour to see her.

I would give 100 stars if I could. I just went with my 3 year old and 1 year old. My 3 year old had gone to the dentist 2 times before and screamed and cried and would not even open his mouth, this was my 1 year old first time, needless to say I was prepared for a ton of tears and maybe a few deaths. However the hygienist, Laura was FANTASTIC. She spent 5-10 mins with BOTH of them individually explaining individually about her different tool, she showed them how they work on their fingers, and even let them try the tools out. When it came time to the actual cleaning both kids were as happy a cooperative as a commercial. Seriously it was a DREAM. PERFECT. My 3 year old keeps telling me he wants to go back tomorrow, even though they told him to ditch his pacifier.

I have an anxious kid, and Dr. Caterina and her sweet hygienist, Katie, have made dentist visits pleasant and anxiety free. Everything has been covered by our insurance, so I haven't had any cost issues. The pac-man video game in the waiting area has been fun and there has been almost no wait time, ever. Lots of parking. We currently travel a long way to have this level of experience. The receptionist has been great too.

Both my daughters (now 6 & 3.5) have been coming here since their 1st dental visits. Dr. Caterina Raffa is very patient, gentle and accommodating. My youngest was very scared and uncooperative for her 1st visit. Dr. Caterina tried letting her sit in my lap, allowed her to examine some of her tools (not the sharp ones) as a distraction and even let her watch mommy getting examined. Nothing worked, Dr. Caterina graciously rescheduled and the next visit went better. We have been coming here for a couple years and would highly recommend the staff, service, location and treatment. The place is clean, welcoming, child friendly and parent comforting.

If you have too much money, don't mind spend a lot of money for your kids' temporary teeth, you can choose her. She don't do silver filling, only expensive white filling which insurance company will cover a little. She is a expensive dentist. I have not find out why she is more expensive than other dentist. The qualtity is not better at all.
