Dr. Dani Buse always knew she wanted to be in healthcare, serving patients, and feels fortunate to be in the field of dentistry. She completed her undergraduate work at Doane College in Crete, Nebraska graduating magna cum laude. She then attended the University of Nebraska Dental College in Lincoln, NE, graduating with High Distinction as she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Buse went on to complete an elective residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at UMKC where she had the opportunity to work on advanced techniques in general dentistry. Her extended training includes comprehensive dental care, dental implant placement and restoration, socket/bone preservation techniques, cosmetic dentistry, fixed and removable prosthodontics, surgery, and occlusion / TMJ evaluations. After completion of her residency, Dr. Buse worked as an associate dentist for two private dental practices before becoming the owner of Peculiar Dental Care.

Dr. Buse appreciates precision and hard work, and is constantly working to expand her skill and knowledge in the field of dentistry through extensive continuing education. Her passion for dentistry is evident as she constantly strives to provide the best dental care possible to her patients. She believes strongly in comprehensive dental care and will take time to walk you through each step of your dental treatment, ensuring that you are as comfortable as possible. Dr. Buse loves working with people and feels she is in an ideal position to positively impact those she serves. A personal goal for her is helping people to no longer be afraid of coming to the dentist one fearful patient at a time!

Dr. Buse has an excellent staff and is thankful for the wonderful team at Peculiar Dental Care. She understands and appreciates that these ladies are vital to delivering the optimal care that our patients deserve.

On a more personal note, Dr. Buse is originally from central Nebraska and met her husband, Eric, on the track team while attending Doane College. They are happily married with 2 children and have 3 dogs from rescues. When they have a free moment, they enjoy time with family and friends, playing with the dogs, water skiing, dancing, flag football, lifting weights, and running. Dr. Buse is grateful for the talents and opportunities God has given her as well as all of the love and support she has received from Eric and her family as she worked hard to pursue her dental career. She is so thankful to have the opportunity to serve Peculiar and the surrounding communities!

Suzanne loves the dental field and is enthusiastic about her job. She is friendly, positive, and caring and makes sure our patients are always comfortable. She is an excellent assistant and has over 20 years of experience in the dental field. When not working Suzanne enjoys spending time with her family and being at the lake.

Katelyn joined our dental team and has because an excellent dental assistant. She has a very humorous personality and is always smiling. Katelyn is passionate about helping others and strives to provide a positive experience for every patient. Outside of work Katelyn enjoys spending time with family, teaching bible study classes, hunting and fishing.

Carol has 20 years of experience in the dental field working in the front office. She is friendly, accommodating, and enjoys working with people. She is great with numbers and helping patients navigate the finances and insurance benefits.

Hannah has been with Peculiar Dental Care for 2 years and has become an excellent hygienist. Her energetic and sweet personality make all of our patients feel welcome and comfortable at every visit! When not working Hannah enjoys time with her husband and son as well as trips to the lake.

Jamie is an experienced hygienist of 15 yrs and has an extremely caring personality. She strives to make sure patients are always comfortable in her chair and provides the best care possible to help patients have optimal oral health. When Jamie is not seeing patients she is home enjoying time with her husband and 3 sons.

To Our Patients and Friends: We are asking for your thoughts and prayers as we mourn the loss of our beloved friend and teammate, Allie. She was in a tragic accident on Thursday, October 22nd that took her life. Please pray for her family and loved ones as this unexpected loss has left us all shaken to our cores. Our hearts are truly broken. For those of you that had the privilege to know Allie, you can easily recall her beautiful, shining smile and ever-serving spirit. There are no words to express the loss we all experienced as her light left this world. We are grateful for the time that God allowed us to share with her and we will miss her terribly. She made each of us better, and her passion for her job was absolutely contagious. She will forever remain in our hearts and will always be a part of our team. We love and miss you Miss Allie!

We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.
