Dr. David Pechersky was born and raised in Monroeville. After graduating from Gateway High School, he attended the University of Michigan and earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh. At the completion of his dental training, Dr. Pechersky was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Society.
Dr. Pechersky became a specialist in orthodontics at Tufts University in Boston. While at Tufts, Dr. Pechersky trained directly under the president of the American Board of Orthodontics. His commitment to fundamentals, combined with his experience in the most advanced and modern techniques in orthodontics, brings a unique and exciting philosophy to the office.
Early in his career, Dr. Pechersky invented Movemints Clear Aligner Mints, which are the only edible accessory ever created for Invisalign! Movemints are breath mints that are specially formulated to be used with Invisalign and have a patented shape to help them fit between the teeth for easy use. Movemints are sold all over the world and have created a fresher treatment experience for thousands of patients.
Dr. Pechersky and his wife, Laura, live in Fox Chapel with their two kids, Sasha and Theo, and their Bernedoodle, Hazel. He is an avid follower of Pittsburgh and University of Michigan sports teams, and enjoys playing hockey and spending time with his family and friends.

We just started coming to this practice for my daughter after my son had braces through another practice and wasn't very happy with them. Our experience thus far with Dr. Pechersky and his staff has been amazing. They are friendly and thorough. They take time to explain things. And their office is high tech and inviting. Great experience so far.

Dr. Pechersky took great care of my daughter's teeth, and she's so happy with the results. She wore braces for about 8 months and is now loving that her teeth as so straight and beautiful.

Great place for kids and teens. I've had Invisalign, braces and then Invisalign again. They have great workers and Orthodontist in their buildings of any location. Overall an amazing place.

My Charlie had an excellent experience! She was super nervous about getting her braces on, but our time and experience was nothing but easy and enjoyable. She even ended it with a hug and a selfie (with props of course)! I had a hard time getting her to leave. Thank you for helping my child through this so she can have confidence in her smile.
