Dr. Quinn J. Smith received his undergraduate degree from Boise State University in Boise, Idaho, and graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Louisville, Kentucky. After practicing dentistry for 3 years, he purchased the well-established Pecan Tree Dental practice in 2012 from its founder, and has enjoyed getting to know his patients and continuing the top-tier care theyve enjoyed for more than two decades.
Dr. Smith is skilled in all aspects of general dental treatment and continues to keep up to date on the latest treatment techniques and technologies. He participates in continuing education courses of all kinds, including implant dentistry, in which hes especially interested. Dr. Smith considers Pecan Tree Dental his home away from home, and his patients and staff are his extended family. He strives to put each patient at ease with his sincere, friendly chair-side manner and honest treatment approach.
Dr. Smith is married and has two sons, whom he credits with having inspired his gentle and patient manner when treating young patients, and for his dedication to providing free dental care to all mothers on Mothers Day. In his spare time, Dr. Smith volunteers with his church and as a Youth Boy Scout Leader, having been a Boy Scout himself. He also enjoys hiking, working out, and dining at local restaurants with his family.
Dr. Tanya Sanders grew up in Lancaster, Texas. She completed her dental training at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Dr. Sanders is married and has one beautiful daughter. Outside of the office, she enjoys treating patients of all ages and is looking forward to caring for your smile.

Unprofessional and incompetent. A family member had work done here and within 30 days the filling fell out. Customers have to take out a warranty contract on services rendered. I have two porcelain crowns from out of state, that have lasted over 25 years. Ridiculous, dentist wants you pay a warranty for work she performs on your teeth.....

I never ever compliment a dentist. They typically scare the you know what out of me. Pecan Tree Dental is exceptional. The staff are kind and very concerned with how you are treated! Dr Smith filled my tooth.....no pain. If you are a chicken like me, Pecan Tree Dental in Grand Prairie,TX should be your choice!

I previously had some dental work done by Dr.Sanders and may I just say that she is truly amazing. She will always make sure that you are 100% comfortable. And she will make sure to answer any questions you have thoroughly. I also love how well she explains things to her assistants. She makes sure to teach them things that they may not know and to point out things that many may not even pay attention to. I go (or use to go) to this dentistry because of their affordability and customer service (in the office). Great billing manager, hygienist, PA, buy after speaking to a "Hannah" or "Ana" that all changed. I was contacted and on June 6th, June 23rd, I spoke to this Hannah stating I did not want an appointment that was pre-scheduled not only were the first two conversations very difficult and challenging for this individual to comprehend me simply stating "I want to cancel my appointment" but she actually failed to do so. So I got several messages stating I will be charged a fee if I don't cancel. I DID ALREADY but it wasn't put in correctly. To my surprise when I called back on Friday morning after receiving another threatening text of a fee, who answers the phone...HANNAH. Again, very challenging and difficult to understand and unaware of what to do and when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was not only forwarded to a voice-mail I was also informed that no one...absolutely no one except for her was in the office. So I get a threat for a fee for an appointment that I canceled multiple times and when I call, I have to speak to the same person who didn't cancel it the first or second or third time and then after all of that it's still not canceled and the cherry on top I can't speak to anyone because there is no one in the office except for Hannah on Friday...a Friday. HORRIBLE

I highly recommend the Dentist and staff at Pecan Tree Dental. They were quick to assure me that my teeth would be taken care of and the problems were solvable. Recommend them to anyone with Dental Phobia. They are caring, concerned and compassionate.

I started writing this review in the middle of my appointment that's how great this dentist office is! From the people that take the pictures of my teeth to the dentist to the hygienist the team is all great! Made me feel super comfortable and insure I knew exactly what was going on the whole time!!

I go to the dentist every 6 months like clock work. I floss regularly and brush. I went for a visit and had some sensitivity. Dr Quinn informed me I needed 6 fillings. I agreed. Had those done the next week & my mouth has never been the same. TONS of pain, post fillings. I went back in THREE times to have the problem remediated. I was told "this shouldn't happen it's a simple procedure" then also told "well if you need a root canal your a special case Bc your root is so small". ??? They give you some "guarantee" paperwork for each of your fillings- but yet none of my filling pain was ever fixed. I went back to my old dentist- who is a bit of a drive away. He said I now have 3 cracked teeth- because of WIDE FILLINGS. I now need 3 crowns and one possible root canal. All done on teeth I'm not even sure needed that much work to begin with. I was so upset, not alone the money, but I haven't been able to chew on the left side of my mouth for 2 months now Bc of their work. My husband called to speak to a manager. She called us back, that day, at almost 8pm. We asked what was going to be done to remedy the situation. She said she would call us back & never did. I've spent 1k there (yes I have insurance) out of pocket & all I got was pain and cracked teeth. Now I have to go and pay an additional 1k to get crowns and root canal all from Dr Quinn's work!!!! Their staff is friendly & so is Dr Quinn, but I would never recommend them to anyone. I have never had an experience like this. I am 36 years young and now my mouth feels like that of a old woman. I am defeated and so upset. Beware!

I was a big baby. But after going to the very nice people at Pecan Tree Dental l now a dental home for life . It's true there are some painless dentists in the world l now know them at again the greatest Dental practice in the world .All l can say is thank you all for all the good things that you all do.and the way that you all explain very Clearly to the patient.

I'm a fairly new patient to Pecan Tree Dental and am very satisfied thus far with the care that they have provided. Since Day1, the staff has made me feel very welcomed and provided exceptional customer service. Dr. Lundeen is great!!! He answers all my questions and is very attentive to all my dental needs!

2 years ago, I gave Pecan Tree 5 stars, and now I am back giving it a 1. I'm very disappointed with their work and customer service. Katy is the rudest woman I've spoken to there, and I am very surprised Dr. Smith would have someone working there like that. My husband and I spent over 5k here in the past year, and that's just for him. Dont get dentures here, they are horrible at impressions, and making sure they fit or well they never even made them fit. He hasn't even been able to wear them once, and Katy said they won't be able to help him. Even tho, he's supposed to get unlimited times for free fittings and adjustments. So we are taking our business to Affordable Dentures, they are gladly to help.

First visit here and I loved it! I was super nervous and embarrassed because I haven't been to the dentist in years , but they made me feel so comfortable!! They're all super sweet. I would definitely recommend everyone to come to this office, they're great!
