Dr. James has a special approach to dentistry because of the many hours she spent in the dental chair as a child and young adult. Her teeth required extensive orthodontic treatment, and later, reconstructive jaw surgery to correct a congenital jaw defect and a less than ideal bite.
Dr. James believes that it is truly a privilege to be able to provide treatment and education for her patients and their families. Dr. James enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, and seeing patients of all ages with diverse dental needs. She is a board member for The Academy of General Dentistry, a professional organization that allows general dentists to continually educate themselves and master all disciplines of general dentistry.
Katie and her husband Daniel, who works in marketing, have been married since 2015. The two actually graduated from high school together, but they did not meet until several years later when they were introduced by mutual friends. They welcomed their precious daughter, Devyn, into the world thisyear and love to watch her grow and change. Katie and Daniel enjoy an active lifestyle, and whether its skiing or hiking, they love to be outdoors. They also enjoy cooking, trying new restaurants, animal rescue volunteering, going to local concerts, and playing with their pug mix, Polly, and two kitties,Sasha and Lucy.
Kelly has over 18 years of experience with anything and everything that has to do with running a dental practice. From explaining and scheduling treatment to billing and maximizing patients insurance benefits, Kelly can do it all. If you have questions, comments, or concerns, Kelly will help you get the answers you need.
Chelsey has been working as a dental hygienist since 2013 andbelieves it is her true calling.Originally from El Paso, TX, she attended Texas State University and was also awarded a Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing before returning to school to study dental hygiene.She is passionate abouthelping people, and she strives to make your visit to the dentist a positive experience. Chelsey loves the preventive aspect of dental hygiene and working with patients of all ages to get them excited about their oral health. In her free time, Chelsey enjoys spending time with her dog, Abbey, being outdoors, and traveling.
Erica was born in a small town in West Texas, and she was raised in her familys restaurant where she learned all about hard work and customer service. Most importantly, she learned how we are put on this Earth to serve one another. She loves being a hygienist! She believes that a persons smile can change lives including their own. Erica most enjoys cheering on her patients not only in their dental care but also in their own life journey. When not in the office you can find her teaching her two boys, enjoying life with my husband of 13 years, or cuddled up with their dogs, Bear and Ino. Her hobbies include reading, art, photography, and watching movies, especially classics.
Elaine has been in dentistry since 1996 as an assistant and a Dental Hygienist since 2001. She began her college education studying Education, but after her first ever dental visit when she was 22 years old she found her true calling in dentistry. Elaine credits strong caring mentors for her compassion and customer service. Elaine enjoys educating herself outside of just cleanings, she is passionate about dental health as it relates to overall health especially occlusion, sleep disorders, and oral cancer. When not serving patients, you can find Elaine volunteering, watching sports and drinking entirely too much coffee. She is a self proclaimed recovering crazy sports mom with her two children retiring their cleats for AggieLand. At home she enjoys spending time with her husband and yorkie.
Renate is originally from Germany. She moved to the US in 1992 with her husband and daughter. She loves to spend time with her two granddaughters and grandson (who call her Oma!). On weekends, you can find Renate riding her Harley through the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
Brookes love for dentistry and patient care radiates from her bubbly, sweet self.She grew up in Belton, Texas, and she is a proud Texan. She has been a dental assistant since 2013 and previously managed an orthodontic practice.

This dentist location adds a $50.00fee for cancellations that are not made 24hrs before the appointment. I was informed by an associate that they were positive for COVID and my first mind was to get tested not to call the dentist. The dentist charged me even through I rescheduled to protect them and their patients. Be careful everyone! You maybe sitting next to a sick person that has COVID but was forced to come in because they didn't want to accrue the $50.00 fee.

I adore Dr James and her staff - they always make me feel so calm and comfortable. Like probably many others going to the dentist isn't exactly my favourite thing but I trust Dr James and the girls completely and absolutely recommend her and any of her staff. They listen and go above and beyond to try to figure out whatever might be going on with my teeth while using humour (and good drugs) to relax me. Give them a try, I promise you won't regret it!

I always have a great experience at Pecan Park Family Dentistry. The staff is very friendly and caring. Chelsey, my hygienist, is so sweet and nice. She takes her time to explain everything to me. She's wonderful at what she does. Dr. James is also amazing. She walked me through step by step for the procedure I was getting done. Highly recommend going here!

Absolutely love Dr. James, Erica, and the rest of the team here! Went from absolutely hating the thought of ever going to the dentist (and didn't go for 15 years) to actually being excited for my visits... all it took was giving Pecan Park a shot! They do their absolute best to ease any concerns, nervousness, etc. and explain things in simple terms I can understand. Can't say it enough: our whole family loves PPFD!

Pecan Park Family Dentistry is phenomenal! The staff is beyond kind. All of them! They take care of you and anticipate needs you did not know you had!! Ex: a blanket during your cleaning, Vaseline on your lips before a filling. Dr. James takes her time, and is very gentle. I am so grateful to have found a dentist we love! If you are considering visiting Pecan Park Family Dentistry, just do it! Definitely recommend!!
