Mark Mendiola, DDS, earned his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry after earning his bachelors degree from Grand Valley State University. He has undergone countless hours of postgraduate education to stay current in the techniques and technologies that help him provide conservative and comprehensive treatment with a gentle and caring approach. He has volunteered in numerous outreach programs, provided health screenings at the Special Olympics, provided dental treatment for Indian Health Services in Montana, and participated in a dental mission to the Dominican Republic.
Larissa Navarro, DDS, was born and raised in Detroit, where she completed her undergraduate studies at Wayne State University and went on to obtain her dental degree at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Dr. Navarro greatly enjoys working with children and volunteering in the community. She has volunteered in numerous outreach programs, provided health screenings, and presented at schools for all different ages to promote dental health. She has also been a participant in career days at middle schools and high schools in Chicago.
Dr. Navarro and Dr. Mendiola are very proud of their two young children, and family time is a priority for both of them. Dr. Navarro also enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and playing tennis, while Dr. Mendiola enjoys tennis, basketball, and running as well as reading.
Larissa Navarro, D.D.S. was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Biology from Wayne State University. Dr. Navarro was then awarded her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy in 2005. She has spent most of her career treating children. As a parent, Dr. Navarro understands the daily challenges of promoting and instilling great oral health in young children. Her goal is to provide top dental care in an experience that is compassionate, gentle, and fun. Dr. Navarro is also passionate about dental preventive care, minimally invasive treatment options, and oral health education for young children and their parents. Dr. Navarro is the full-time dentist at Mobile Care Chicago, a not-for-profit organization. They deliver no-cost care to underserved communities aboard mobile clinics in the Chicago area.

My daughter has started the process of clear aligners and the process was very easy, the front office staff did great verifying her benefits so we know upfront what our cost will be. She really enjoyed that there was no impressions because they do digital scans. Very happy with Pebblewood Dental!

I brought my elderly mother in for her first appointment, and she was really happy with the entire experience. And beyond being happy that she's happy, I'm relieved to know that she will now be getting good care in a practice that was just a pleasure to deal with all around - courteous, understanding and accommodating to the needs of a geriatric patient.

Dr. Mendiola and Heidi were so kind and efficient while working on a tooth that need a crown. They BOTH asked how I was doing and feeling in such a caring way. (Empathy is a BIG factor for me to see a dentist!) I had no pain whatsoever throughout the procedure and I was able to see the new technology to scan my tooth instead of taking an impression! I am grateful to have had such a good team help me out with my tooth. Thanks Dr. Mendiola and Heidi! :]

So unprofessional. Waited more than 45 minutes for my doctor to start the cleaning. Cleaning was about 10-15 minutes. Doctor had another patient at the same time when we was trying to clean my teeth. Did check up to say hi and go back to another patient. And when I finally to to the front desk to say that I've been waiting for 45 minutes, doctor finally started my cleaning. My appointment last 1 hour and 30 minutes but it only took him 10-15 to clean my teeth. Never had so quick cleaning. I also requested to borrow some floss to floss my teeth after cleaning Doctor request to floss it after it but I wasn't mine to floss myself. He was in a rush to go to another patient who was waiting for him to continue their treatment which was starting before I came. If you they just tell me to come back later I will. I took 1 hour off early from my work and draw more than 40 minutes. Also front desk called me before my appointment that I can come earlier than they have open slot. They knew that I was on my way. I understand that they want to have more patient but I paid, wait, draw, was on time to my appointment. I expect that they will do their part. Won't recommend.

Excellent service, care. Fast with care treatmemt. Very concerned about paitent needs. Also wasnt just a consultation provided care right then and there. No need for 4 or 5 more appointmemts. Keeping this dentist for a long time.

Dr Mendiola and his staff were excellent. I was suffering with a broken wisdom tooth for sometime and was able to get it extracted on my first visit and left with fantastic experience. A very profession atmosphere and I highly recommend this place.
