Dr. Atherly came to our practice from the San Diego area after serving the in US Military providing quality dental care to our Marines. He is a Deans List graduate from the University of Pittsburgh and is a proud recipient of the Robert Zugsmith Memorial Scholarship Award for Meritorious Academic and Clinical Achievements.
Dr. Atherly takes pride in his work and his primary goal is to provide exceptional dental care to his patients while offering a full range of dental & cosmetic options such as Clear Correct (similar to Invisalign), Veneers and Implants. Dr. Atherly is a member of the Sacramento District Dental Society, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Brandon Erickson grew up in El Dorado Hills and is thrilled to bring his wealth of skills, years of dentistry experience and expertise to Pebble Beach Dental, in Citrus Heights, CA. Dr. Erickson received his BS from Brigham Young University and his DDS from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dr. Erickson shares in Dr. Atherlys conservative treatment philosophies and his passion for creating and maintaining overall health. He has been a practice owner and has worked in general and pediatric offices. He has also practiced dentistry in 10 different countries! Needless to say, Dr. Erickson is a great fit at Pebble Beach Dental, in Citrus Heights, CA.
My hobbies include anything outdoors, camping, scuba diving, hiking, and water skiing. My husband and I also enjoy traveling. Most recently, we traveled to Playa del Carmen. That and Belize have been our favorite so far. However, we have just scratched the surface of our traveling desires.
I have been working with Dr. Atherly at Pebble Beach dental for about a year now. I love that we share the same views on how important dental care/comfort ability is for our patients. As I have worked in this practice, I have gotten to know patients and coworkers, which has been most rewarding.
I am very passionate about health, especially oral health. I strive to be a part of improving our patients health.Helping people to understand dental health and its significance to our entire body is of the utmost importance.
My name is Shanna and I have been in the dental field since 2009. I previously worked in the hustle and bustle of the mortgage industry and after the bubble burst in 2007, I pursued a different career path.
Since being in the healthcare field, I can never imagineworking anywhere else. I love the human connection that I get to experience every day and the relationships that come from working in a small private practice.
I love all things 80s and country. I hope to one day cross a few things off my bucket list, which include a trip to Italy and Ireland and possibly one day retire in a quite southern state, complete with a big old house and wrap around porch!
Hi, Im Kimberly. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist and have been with Pebble Beach Dental team since 2018. I attended Sacramento City College in 2005 for Dental Assisting and in 2014 for Dental Hygiene. I have my Bachelors Degree from CSUS in Health Science with a focus in Community Health Education. I love educating my patients and seeing them improve their oral health and overall wellness.
I was born and raised in Sacramento and enjoy volunteering my time in the community. I have four nieces and nephews that fill my life with so much joy. I love to travel with my family and relax when I am not working.
Kristin is from Fair Oaks, CA, and she received her training at Western Career College. She enjoys working alongside Dr. Erickson and helping her patients achieve a healthy and attractive smile. She also emphasizes the importance of educating her patients about their oral health so they can take an active role in maintaining their beautiful smiles.

I have been going to Pebble Beach Dental for years. Shanna and the front office staff always provide a warm welcome, excellent communication and efficient reminders for appointments. Melissa is an wonderful hygienist who is friendly and gets my cleanings done quickly. Dr. Atherly has done several procedures on my teeth. I'm pleased with his gentle quality care. Their newly expanded office looks amazing. I highly recommend Pebble Beach Dental.

Very impressed with the office. Had my teeth cleaned and was NOT sore after! Than had to go in for a broken crown. Dr Atherly was so good. I didn't really feel anything but a small pic from the shot. I was amazed at how quickly he was done. His chair side assistant was very professional and knew what she was doing. Definitely highly recommend!

I've been a patient of Dr. Atherly's for about 6 years and they've been amazing. The staff has mostly stayed the same the entire time I've been coming and they're all really nice and welcoming and you can tell they all enjoy working there. Kimberly did my cleaning today and was really easy to talk to, and super thorough and gentle. I'd recommend this place to anybody!

I can't say enough about this office. I needed extensive work done basically a whole mouth of implants. This was over a year of work. The staff treated me like family and they bent over backwards to work with my schedule since my wife and I travel the country full time. But what's really important is the quality of work Dr. Atherly is a perfectionist he takes his time and won't allow anyone to leave his office unless his work is perfect. He spent hours of time to make sure my implants were perfect. He also gets to know you and your personal life and makes you feel so relaxed while your in his chair. Best experience one could ask for. I highly recommend Pebble Beach. Thank all of you for my new mouth.

The BEST dental office in the area! Dr Erickson and Dr Atherly are the most patient, skilled, knowledgeable professionals in the field! Overall experience starting with the friendly welcome, the dental assistants are highly trained and hygienist are the best in the area. My experience over the last few years of going to Pebble Beach Dental has been very beneficial. The staff are professional and know what they are doing. I go for routine cleanings every 6 months. I highly recommend.
