Dr. Stokes grew up in Iowa City and attended the University of Rochester and the University of Wyoming for a BS in Animal Science. She attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and completed a residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.
She has been practicing in beautiful Eugene since 2002.She is a member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, LaneCounty Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry where she has become aFellow. She has also been awarded Neighborhood Favorite from Nextdoor three yearsin a row. Her community involvement includes being on multiple committees, servingon Food for Lane Countys board and is currently volunteering at vaccination clinics inthe area. She has two teenagers that also keep her busy.
Nancy was born in Chicago and moved to Eugene in elementary school. She has been dental assisting since high school and completed the Dental Assisting program at Lane Community College. Nancy is certified by the Dental Assisting National Board as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She has experience in periodontics, orthodontics, and general dentistry. She has worked with Dr. Stokes since 2005. Nancy and her husband enjoy camping, travel, and spending time with their large family, including many grandkids.
Carolyn grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, married, and raised 2 boys. She entered the dental field just after high school and has been working in the same field ever since. She moved with her husband to Medford in 2005 and has been in Eugene for a few years now. She joined Pearly Whites in 2017 and we are lucky to have her expertise. Carolyn and her husband like to camp, hike and spend time with their family, especially their new grandkids.
Jenny graduated from Loma Linda University with her Bachelors in dental hygiene in 2015. She enjoys using her skills to treat her patients with gentleness and compassion. She loves to spend time with family and friends, hike, travel, and explore new things.
Kaylynn graduated from Lane Community College Dental Assisting Program in 2013. Kaylynn is certified by the Dental Assisting National Board as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She says, Its been a pleasure being a part of the Pearly Whites Team. I love what I do, I love getting to know people and making them feel comfortable when coming in for their dental needs. Kaylynn and her husband Logan also enjoy fitness-related activities and spending time with family, friends and their two German Shepherd dogs- Korben and Dax.

All of the staff are so kind and professional. They care for our entire family and then some. I highly recommend them if you are needing a caring dentistry office. Dr. Stokes has trained her staff to look beyond your teeth and care for you as a whole person.

Pearly Whites is great for routine care as well as the BEST emergency dental care I have ever experienced. They are all very customer oriented and dedicated to keeping your teeth healthy and pain-free. They give lots of good information, and follow up is great. Friendly, caring and competent!

think Dr. Stokes and her whole team are wonderful at what they do! Dr. Stokes really took the time to listen to me and my dental concerns. And I felt it was important to her to understand what had happened to me previously and felt real empathy and sincere interest in remedying the problem. For this I am truly grateful because not only does she listen but she and her team helped resolve my dental issues with a true caring and attention to me and my mouth! Thankful I found them!!!

I got a bad toothache over a holiday weekend, and the Pearly Whites office was closed the next full week for vacation. No problem! Dr. Stokes called me back right away and made sure it wasn't a full-on emergency. She fit me in the first day they were back and took good care of me, thoroughly inspecting the problem area and clearly explaining the options. It's comforting and reassuring to know they care.

I've had great experiences all around here at Dr. Josie Stokes's dental office. Today I had a new hygienist, Jenny, and she was warm, friendly and did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth and explaining everything as she went along. I have had some painful dental experiences as a child, so I am sometimes anxious in the chair. However, I felt very relaxed and a lot less nervous with Jenny. I highly recommend!
