Dr. Brittany Henry and Dr. R. Gordon Henry and their staff are well-trained professionals who work together as a team to bring you our high standards of dentistry in a warm, caring and relaxing setting. At the first visit, after a thorough examination, you and Dr. Brittany Henry or Dr. R. Gordon Henry will discuss your needs and desires and together develop your personalized dental healthcare plan. We will work with you to plan and schedule your treatment, determine your insurance benefits and help you make financial arrangements before beginning any treatment. For your convenience we accept personal checks, cash, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.

We follow infection control protocol beyond the standard OSHA requirements in order to insure your absolute safety. Our state-of-the-art equipment has been specifically designed to aid in this process. For each patient, all dental instruments and handpieces are heat sterilized. Countertops are chemically disinfected and where applicable, disposable barriers are used.

Our front desk staff, will be glad to provide a written estimate of recommended treatment including insurance estimates. We offer several different payment options including Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. We ask for payment at the time that services are rendered. We glady file all insurances on your behalf.

Dental health care insurance is intended to cover some, but not all, of the cost of dental treatment. Our doctors are providers for many insurance companies. Please bring in your plan information with you and we will be glad to submit the insurance for you. We can submit insurance electronically to most companies. If you have questions regarding your coverage, please ask our financial manager, who will be happy to work with you to find the answer.

Dr. Brittany Henry earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology and a double minor in Chemistry and Psychology at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska. She then attended Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Henry was drawn to dentistry because she wanted to be able to use her artistic ability and love for science to serve her community. Her dental experience began when she spent numerous hours shadowing her Uncle Tim at his practice in Kansas. In between undergrad and dental school, she worked in a pediatric dental office in Fort Collins, Colorado learning all aspects of the practice: front desk, insurance, sterilization, and assisting.

Dr. Henry has extensive training in Invisalign and sedation techniques. She loves to continue her education in all areas of dentistry and does so through her involvement in professional organizations such as:

Dr. Henry grew up in rural Nebraska and met her husband, Dr. R. Gordon Henry while they were attending Creighton University School of Dentistry. Dr. Gordon grew up in Birmingham, and the couple moved back to Alabama in May of 2018. They look forward to building a relationship with the community, a family, and making Alabama home. When not practicing dentistry, they enjoy taking their dog, Dixie, for walks, traveling, and spending time at Lake Martin. Dr. Henry also enjoys practicing calligraphy and reading.

Dr. R. Gordon Henry was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. After graduating from Mountain Brook High School, he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Alabama. Following his time at UofA, he then moved to Omaha, Nebraska to study and eventually receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry. Dr. Gordon met his wife, Dr. Brittany Henry during this time in Nebraska. Dr. Gordon enjoys playing golf, spending time at Lake Martin, watching college football, playing with his dog, Dixie, and spending time with his family and friends.

Dr. Henry is a member of the American Dental Association and the Alabama Dental Association. Dr. Henry is continuously staying up with the most current dental practices and continuing education. Dr. Henry is excited to provide comprehensive dental care for the community of Vestavia Hills and the surrounding areas.

McKenzieis a certified dental assistant who joined Pearly White Dentistry in January 2019. She attended Auburn University Dental Assisting Program where she received her dental assisting certificate. McKenzie enjoys spending time with her family, attending Church of the Highlands, and playing with her new puppy, Halo!

Nicoleis a licensed dental hygienist who greets every patient with a friendly smile and bubbly personality. Nicole has experience treating patients of all ages, including children. She joined Pearly White Dentistry in January 2012. Nicole is originally from Potsdam, New York and received her diploma and certification from Broome Community College in Binghamton, New York. She enjoys spending time with her family, her three dogs, and her husband.
