Washma has worked in the dental field since 1999. She started her career as an assistant, but she went back to school to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. Washma says that developing special bonds with her patients while cleaning their teeth makes the job so worthwhile, and it brings so much joy and excitement to her job. Washma tries to be as gentle and caring as she can, especially when she has a nervous or anxious patient in the chair. Washma also loves being a wife and mother. With a son and daughter at home, Washma enjoys spending time with her family, going on hikes, cooking delicious meals, and traveling around the world.
Patty started her career in dentistry as an assistant, and was motivated to go to school to become a hygienist. She graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1985 with a B.A. in Dental Hygiene. Patty then began working as a Registered Dental Hygienist for Dr. Langenbach and Dr. Thomas in 1995, and says it is a pleasure and honor to be affiliated with this team. She takes dental preventative care very seriously, and will carefully explain any treatment or procedure to a patient who asks. Patty loves being a wife and mother, and her time off from work is filled with driving her children to their various sport activities (soccer, football, basketball, volleyball, and softball), camping, riding quads, and volunteering at school and church.
Michele was born and raised in the Midwest. She grew up in Iowa and relocated with her family to San Diego in 2019. She started her dental career in 2011 as a registered and certified dental assistant, then later earned her Iowa Expanded Functions Dental Assistant title. Michele is an avid supporter of quality healthcare, especially dentistry. She has strived to improve the regulations and standards of the dental assistant role within healthcare. Not only has she served as the Iowa Dental Assistant Association (IDAA) Vice President, IDAA Secretary, and as a delegate for the American Dental Assistant Association (ADAA), but she also co-founded the 8th District ADAA Committee. She served on an advisory committee and as a clinical adjunct instructor for a collegiate dental assistant program as well as co-managing the IDAA Student Involvement Committee. Micheles favorite part being a dental assistant is being directly involved in changing a patients life with high-quality dental care. Michele is a wife and a mother to their 2 children. Her childrens activities keep the family very busy with baseball, softball, and golf. When she isnt at the baseball fields, she can often be found at the dog park with their 2 dogs, camping, or at the beach.
Jessica was born and raised in Escondido. While going to college as a Criminology major she was also going through Orthodontic treatment. Because of the care she received and the positive outcome of the treatment she decided to change her major and become a dental assistant. Jessica loves helping patients to understand how dentistry plays a part in their complete health. When outside the office, Jessica likes to go hiking and spend time with her boyfriend and family.
Jackie is a native of San Diego. The most important things to Jackie is the patient experience while in the office and the quality of dentistry provided. She loves to make patients feel safe, comforted and educated about their oral health. On her free time, Jackie likes to spend time with her four dogs, go backpacking. She is a foodie & likes to try new restaurants.
Karisa is a Registered Dental Assistant and has been practicing dentistry for 10 years, she enjoys working on cosmetic cases and helping create new smiles for her patients. When she is not working in the office she is attending CSUSM and planning for a future in advertising. Karisa enjoys spending time outside and at the beach with her dog Archie.
German-born cosmetic dentist, Dr. Juergen Langenbach, has provided his dental expertise to a myriad of patients in both Germany and the United States. While serving as a dentist in the German Army, Dr. Langenbach met Dr. Lynne Thomas and they agreed that southern California was the place to be. Setting up their practice in Poway, CA in 2003, Dr. Langenbach has consistently offered top-tier cosmetic, restorative, preventative dentistry, and sleep apnea treatments. Through his diligence and dedication to his patients, Dr. Langenbach has continued to touch lives and transform mouths with his special care and superb treatments. Among his esteemed accreditations and affiliations, Dr. Langenbach is a member in the highly esteemed Academy of General Dentistry. His main goal with any patient is to achieve beautiful, safe, and long-standing outcomes.
His interpersonal, clinical, and management skills are all cutting-edge. His communication skills are mirrored by the fact that he is able to speak four languages, enabling him to communicate with and treat individuals from various walks of life.
As a highly-trained dentist, Dr. Langenbach has the know-how to provide a wide range of comprehensive dental services. Dr. Langenbachs dental journey began in Germany where he was born and raised. After arriving in the U.S., Dr. Langenbach successfully passed the California state boards on his first try, and received his license to practice in 2002.
Dr. Langenbach and Dr. Thomas have both broadened their scope of care to include obstructive sleep apnea by becoming members of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. This opens the possibility of an oral sleep appliance, under certain circumstances, to newly diagnosed patients, for those who are CPAP intolerant, or whose lifestyle doesnt allow for its constant use (like campers). Through his continued education and dedication to his patients, Dr. Langenbach has become a Fellow of the California Implant Institute. He also continues to take courses in Orthodontics and is now a Preferred Invisalign Provider. Dr. Langenbach is working to become an Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).
Happily married to Dr. Thomas, Dr. Langenbach is an active father to his 4 children. In addition to seeing them through their various activities, Dr. Langenbach makes sure he works out to keep fit. Fun fact: Dr. Langenbach has been known to be a fierce and awesome Klingon at our local Comic-Con!
Part of the dental field since she was 16, cosmetic dentist, Dr. Lynne D. Thomas, was inspired to become a dentist after working at an endodontic office. Dr. Thomas main mission is to provide every patient with outstanding dental work for superb results.

My experience with everyone at Pearls of Dentistry was superb!! I moved to Poway, CA, in November 2017 and had to have a crown replaced and a root canal. Dr. Langenbach was so thorough in his exam and left no stone unturned. My tooth was in a lot of pain prior to these procedures and afterward it was like I had a new tooth! He has a great sense of humor as well and kept me entertained while doing the procedure! All the hygienists are top notch and the people at the front desk and in billing! I highly recommend them!!

Great service! I've been coming here ever since I was little and they always do such a great job taking care of you and your teeth. Washma is the best and she always remembers whats going on in my life and suggesting great ways to keep my teeth healthy. And of course Dr.Thomas and Dr.Langenbach are great specialist when it come to the special care I need now and in the future.

My wife and I and our two daughters have been going to Pearls of Dentistry for several years now. I believe they provide the best overall care in Poway. Dr. Thomas and Dr. Langenbach are consummate professionals. They are extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. My last cleaning was done by Washma. She was friendly with a great attention for detail. My wife and I have been going to this dental team for 19 years. Back then, new to the area, a coworker had suggested Dr. Langenbach to us. Quality and precision has been our experience -- going the extra mile, and taking the time to provide insightful depth for their care. We find Washma, Patty, and the staff take pride in being courteous and polite, with a warm and friendly approach to discussing sometimes difficult concerns. We also look forward to our conversations with Patty and the staff in our regular check-ups and cleanings. Last year, my wife had an unbearably swollen gum. Recognizing the immediacy, Washma made time for her that same day, and a popcorn shell stuck way down in the molar gum was removed. The relief was immediate. We drive nearly an hour from the coast for our visits, because of their care.

Been visiting Dr Langenbach since over 10+ years. Professional, competent, patient first. Great and innovative treatments, always on top of the latest. It was super cool to watch my crown being molded on site. Want to get to know him? Ask him about his soccer team. Also, I been there since 10+ years ans Washma does a superb job cleaning my teeth and keeping my gums health. Courteous, sympathetic and competent. Almost too nice for having your teeth cleaned. I have had a number of dentists through the past 63 years and Dr. Thomas and Dr. Langenbach are hands-down the best in every aspect of their practice. My last dentist gave up on my teeth and recommended dentures and that was over 20 years ago. Dr. Thomas recommended 2 implants which solved the big problem and she proactively saved the rest of my teeth over the years. Everyone in the office is so friendly and I consider all of them part of my extended family. I highly recommend

Well today i had my teeth cleaned, by the wonderful hygienist Washama. I use to hate getting my teeth cleaned and years ago would have to be sedated. Not any more Washama does such a wonderful job, shes a pro. I'm comfortable with her, she let's me know where I need to improve when I'm doing good and she cracks a good joke once in a while. I would highly recommend Washama she is the best. Go to Pearl's of Denistry the doctors and staff are Awesome. Today Dec. 15, 2021 I received my temporary front teeth today its taken a few months to get here but that's ok Dr. Langenbach is the best getting implants was something that I had been wanting for a long time and now I'm almost done. The experience was so successful do to Dr. Langenbach and his staff in my opinion Pearl Denistry is the best place to go if have dental issue Dr's. And Staff make you feel comfortable they are helpful, kind, and share a joke occasionally. Everyone one is.very personable And look out for their patients comfort Thank you Dr. Langenbach, Dr. Thomas, Jackie, and the rest of the staff you all are best, awesome I'm definitely smiling more.

I have gone to Pearls of Dentistry for years. Washma does a great job cleaning my teeth. And, Dr. Thomas has done fillings and crowns and I am always totally satisfied with the results. They are very thorough and professional! I highly recommend Pearls of Dentistry.

I've been a patient for over 10 years. I have always had a great experience whether getting my teeth cleaned or being seen for an emergency. I got my teeth cleaned today by Washma. She is fantastic, thorough, and very gentle. She also remembers me from visit to visit, knows my quirks, and takes great care of me and my teeth. On Labor Day this past August, I broke a molar. I called their emergency number and Dr. Thomas met me at the dental office. She didn't hesitate to meet with me even though it was a holiday, and she had out of town guests in her home. The entire office staff are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

Pearls of Dentistry is definitely the best dentist group that I've ever had. My dentist, Dr. Juergen Langenbach, has taken great care of my family for many years. He personable, has all the latest technology, and is very skilled at making in-house perfect crowns, fillings, etc. Additionally, he provides me complete health dentistry, with a sleep apnea device, perio protect, and other hygiene services. Washma, who does my quarterly cleanings, is great; she's very knowledgeable and thorough and makes sure to have the dentist check any suspect areas that she may find. I highly recommend Pearls of Dentistry and have referred friends to them.

I have been receiving dental care from Dr. Langenbach and Dr. Thomas for close to 10 years now. It has been a pleasant experience each and every time I have stepped into their office to receive dental work. They take great care in ensuring their patients are comfortable and well informed of all procedures that are taking place. Additionally, my hygienist Washma, whom I see for my regular cleanings, always makes sure that I leave with the healthiest teeth and provides me with any improvements I can make to my daily routine to keep them that way. The entire office staff are always friendly and add to the overwhelmingly positive experience that I have each time I visit.

A great experience at Pearls of Denistry in Poway today. I had an old metal crown that needed replacing. Could not be happier with my new crown. Dr. Thomas is a dedicated dentist and also a perfectionist not just with functionality but also the aesthetics. I trust her to always do a first class job. Dental Assistant Jessica was also excellent seeming to read the doctor's mind on what she needed to do and when. Jackie and Lylia were part of the crown team as well. Excellent! One of the best reason to go to Pearls of Denistry is that you can get a permanent crown the same day! No temporary crown. Dr. Lagenbach does implants. He did mine a few years ago. Great to have the next best thing to a natural tooth. Jackie is his surgery assistant, too. I must say how much I love Washma the Hygenist. I've been going to her for many years and would never go to any other. The entire office staff is an incredible team. They are caring and very attentive to your needs.
