Lace up your running shoes and get ready to Dash out for Cancer! This years run will be held at the El Capitan High School and will be a timed event for the first time in this 5ks history. Join us as support the strong men and women who have fought and won the fight with cancer, and those still fighting. We look forward to seeing you there!

Run for the Fallen will take place on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Applegate Park in Merced, CA. This event is a National run and it honors and remembers those service members that have died while serving our Country. Here in Merced, CA we have a few soldiers who have laid down their lives to protect our freedoms. We invite our patients to join the community and help us remember the fallen, and support the families theyve left behind.

Come join us and the Merced Police and Fire Department, as we get together for a fun family friendly event!The Merced Police Department hosts the 35th Nationwide annual National Night Out. This event features law enforcement agencies spending time outdoors in neighborhoods for a variety of events. The main event in Merced will be held at Applegate Park and will include free food, Kiddieland rides, music, raffle prizes, public safety information and more.

For the past three years, we have bought candy back from our community to both lessen cavities in Merced County and to give back to those overseas protecting us and first responders, through the nonprofit Operation Gratitude! Our goal was 100lbs of candy donated or bought back and we exceeded it by 48lbs!

The Merced Cancer Society Foundation will be hosting the 3rd Annual 5K Dash Out For Cancer. The event is open to the community; so come with your family and show your support. We will also be having a booth so drop by for a chance to win some of our many prizes!

The event is open to UC Merced students, faculty and staff members and the community. The 2016 event will feature both a 5-kilometer and 5-mile race.

The event is put on by Buhach Colony HS in conjunction with the 20-30 Club of Merced County and our local US Marines Toys for Tots drive in order to encourage our community to donate new, unwrapped toys for less fortunate children and their families. Part of the proceeds will benefit a number of annual scholarships for graduating seniors in the Merced Unified High School District.

We are teaming up withOperation Gratitudefor the second time! Operation Gratitude annually sends 150,000+ care packages filled with snacks, entertainment, hygiene and hand-made items, plus personal letters of appreciation, to New Recruits, Veterans, First Responders, Wounded Warriors, Care Givers and to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed overseas.

I work to help people feel great about their smiles. I believe in treating you as a whole person, not just your mouth. My practice philosophy is based on the ongoing research on the oral-systemic links showing stronger connections to ailments like cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, strokes, pregnancy complications and cancers. My passion is to help fearful and anxious patients overcome their fears and trust dentists. I understand how difficult it can be to seek dental treatment due to anxiety and provide compassionate care to help make the process enjoyable again.

I attended the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University for my dental education, earning my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Since then, I have continued to advance my knowledge and training to deliver the highest quality of care to my patients while also keeping their experience as painless and comfortable as possible. In many ways, my education just began after my formal schooling.

I enjoy expanding my knowledge base to take a more holistic approach of overall dental health and well-being, instead of just treating teeth. My recent continuing education courses involving implant dentistry led me to be inducted into AAID, as an Associate Fellow in 2018.

I am a native of Punjab, India, but have happily settled down in California since 1992. Currently, I live in Atwater with my lovely wife, Rinku, our son, Rajdeep, and our German shepherd. Outside of the practice, I enjoy spendingtime with my family, reading about various historical topics and watching NBA games. I love volunteering my time with KVIE (a public broadcasting station in Sacramento), the local homeless shelter in Merced and Livingston Guru Nanak Gurudwara.

Dr. Gagan Bhullar completed his dental education and training in three different countries on three different continents. He first earned his Bachelors of Dental Surgery degree from Dasmesh Dental College in Punjab, India. He then completed his Preceptorship in Prosthodontics from the University of California-San Francisco and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Universidad de La Salle in Bajio, Mexico. He attends continuing education courses every three to six months in order to stay at the forefront of the dental field. Receiving his education from so many different parts of the world not only allowed Dr. Bhullar to learn the best skillsets in dental care, but also made him fluent in five languages English, Spanish, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.

Dr. Bhullar is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Yosemite Dental Society. As a dentist, he strives to provide his patients with the utmost high-quality care tailored to address their individual needs and concerns. He aims to create a comfortable and relaxing experience for all his patients.

Dr. Bhullar is married and just entered parenthood with twin babies, one boy and one girl. He enjoys learning, reading and watching movies. In their leisure time he and his wife enjoy cooking and spending time with their children.
