I dont recommend this dentist. 3 years of 6 months appointments and now in a new base just made a root canal in one of my front teeth because of a huge cavity. In 3 years never had one single treatment.

This office is AMAZING! The best hygienists who are thorough and just so so great. The office staff is also very kind and helpful. Seriously I don't ever want to use another dentist office which is why I still go here even after moving. HOWEVER, I have to remove a star because it is absolutely awful trying to confirm or cancel appointments. Last week I missed a call to confirm my appointment, no big deal, I called back to confirm a few hours later. I was left waiting on hold for 20 min before I hung up and called back. They had just forgotten about me on hold. No big deal, mistakes happen, I confirmed my appointment. Fast forward to today: I get a text saying I failed to confirm my appointment and I had less than two hours to confirm (on a Saturday morning) before they would cancel the appointment. An appointment I have had to arrange childcare for. I text the message back and then had to call again to confirm that they actually got my confirmation this time. So that was a total of three phone calls and a text message just to confirm one appointment. This is also not the first time I have had this happen with this office where despite multiple attempts to contact them to cancel an appointment well in advance, they still sent messages threatening to charge me if I didn't confirm the appointment just days before. So fabulous service for your teeth but you still might have a headache after it's all said and done.

Well, since the office manager didn't receive my message, or just didn't feel the need to return my call about a concern I had, maybe he or she would rather read about it here. I was being seen at the office several years ago, but due to unforeseen circumstances, including having other urgent medical concerns, death of family members, and the loss of my dental insurance, I could not continue services there. Recently I was able to get an outstanding dental plan and authorization, so I scheduled an appointment immediately. When I arrived for my exam and cleaning appointment, things didn't go well. The hygienist having no knowledge or concern as to why I stopped coming, I was berated by the hygienist. I explained why I stopped coming, but she didn't seem to believe me, or care. Then just before starting the cleaning, she stuck the suction tube in my mouth and walked away for about 10 minutes. She made several comments about my other health issues from across the room, whereby other could have heard her. (" you have a lot of medical problems, so you shouldn't be missing these appointments") The cleaning took all of about 10 minutes, which wasn't really a cleaning at all. It's with time consuming regret that I fry to cancel all future appointments with this office, and will have to start all over elsewhere, but with the level of disrespect I experienced, I didn't feel safe in to go back there. i would suggest that she considers the fact that clients are often struggling and dealing with more than dental concerns when they walk through the door, including disabled veterans. There's more, but I'll leave it at that !

We are a military family which involves moving a lot so we've had quite a few dentists, not all have been great but we couldn't be happier to have found Pearl Family. Every visit has been amazing and everyone is so kind! We will be sad to leave because we love every visit. Thank you!

I've been going to Pearl Family Dental Care twice a year for about 10 years. They are professional dental office with very talented staff. Over these last ten years my wife & I have had fillings, crowns and numerous cleanings and xrays. Large free parking lot just outside their door makes going to the dentist a lot easier. So much better than dealing with downtown Honolulu traffic. I highly recommend Pearl Family Dental Care!

My family and I have been patients of Dr Enoka and hygienist Eileen for over eight years. This is a wonderful dental office: efficient, clean, with all the latest equipment and techniques. We truly appreciate how personally we are received and their attention to our specifics needs (I have dental office anxiety). Caring, kind and good at dentistry. Fives stars times 3! MaryJo M

Love Pearl family dental! Dr Sasala and his staff are amazing! Every time my family and I have needed dental work we have been shown nothing but kindness and patience. I highly recommend this dental practice!

First time going and the dental staff was amazing . I was able to receive a referral for my braces after 6 months of looking for a new orthodontist to maintain them . ( I was paying to fly back to ga every two months to maintenance them for a year and a half ) I'm forever thankful for them .

Great staff and workers. Worst ever dental policies i ever encountered and annoying notifications. A whole 48 hours or get charged a minimum of $50 per hour of the appointment. My appointment was Wednesday and on Monday morning i got told there was a meeting so i wanted to reschedule but they wanted $75 out of my own pocket after referral. Luckily the meeting changed but still. 48 hours is extremely inconvenient. Another annoying thing is they kept calling and sending me texts to "confirm" my appointment. If my appointment is in the system and i haven't canceled, leave me the hell alone

Nice staff, techs and dentist, however, they would not let me cancel appointments (for me and my son) without being charged $100. I was sick and even offered to provide proof from my doctor. The girl on the phone never even asked what my illness was. What if I was contagious? I went to my appointment to avoid being charged.

We recently moved to Hawaii and I've been to Pearl Family Dental three times so far (initial exam + 2 fillings). Their paperwork process is easy and the staff are very friendly. Both fillings were completely painless and my teeth feel normal, which is good, after the fillings.

I hate going to the dentist. So for me to say that Pearl Family Dental Care is my favorite office to go to is no small thing. Their staff is very welcoming and professional. The technicians and dentists are all very friendly and easy to talk to. I recently changed my dental coverage to something Pearl doesn't accept. But I'd rather pay out of pocket than go anywhere else.

Had my deep cleaning done with them. Excellent service and they are very kind. They are easy to work with especially when I need to reschedule.
