I grew up in the Pacific Wonderland of rural Oregon. Most of my days were spent adventuring rivers, lakes, and woods with my family. I completed undergraduate studies at Oregon State University (Beavers! Not Ducks) and then moved to Portland to attend Oregon Health and Science University where I would meet my favorite classmate and future bride. I spend my free time enjoying travel, photography, board sports, microbrews, and Denas cooking. Also, I do my best to sneak away to Oregon as often as possible. I secretly want to moonlight as a DJ because I believe life deserves a soundtrack.
I grew up and spent most of my childhood here in Scottsdale. After graduating from Horizon High School (Go Huskies!), I ventured down to Tucson, Arizona and became a proud Arizona Wildcat. Upon completion of my undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona, I moved to Portland, Oregon to pursue my dream of becoming a dentist. It was at the Oregon Health and Science University that I met my best friend and now husband James. Together, we survived 4 years of cold, wet winters in the Northwest. After graduating, we decided we could use some sunshine and immediately moved back to the Valley of the Sun. It has always been my dream to return to my old neighborhood and serve the community that I love. When Im not practicing dentistry, I spend most of my free time with friends and family. I enjoy swimming, biking, hiking, and boating on the lake. I love to travel and explore new people, places, and cultures. I absolutely love to cook! My secret ambition is to go to culinary school to become a chef.
I have been working in the dental field for over 20 years now. I enjoy working with patients and helping them get a good understanding of their dental needs. I am originally from Southern California. I love traveling and spending time with family and friends.
I started my career in dentistry in 2010 when I became a dental assistant. I was inspired by my mother, who has been in the dental field for over 30 years. You could say that a love for teeth is in my genes! I decided to continue my education and pursue a degree in Dental Hygiene at Fortis College. My favorite thing about being a dental hygienist is the opportunity to get to know all kinds of people from all walks of life and help them achieve optimal dental health. When Im not in the office, I enjoy getting together with family friends. As a California native, I love the Arizona sunshine and always jump at the chance to be outside. If I wasnt a dental hygienist I would probably be a food critic. Im terrible at cooking and baking but I love eating good food!
I began my dental career in 2011 when I became a dental assistant. I fell in love with the dental field immediately and wanted to further progress on the career path. I attended the Utah College of Dental Hygiene and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. I aim to give each patient the best dental experience possible and love getting to know each of them. Outside of dentistry, I love spending quality time with my husband, family, and friends. We love to travel, spend time outdoors, and try new things!
