Dr. Ashraf Okba grew up in Egypt where he spent his childhood between the two great cities, Alexandria and Cairo. He graduated in 1991 from Cairo University, the historical and most accredited and reputable University in the region.
He has been practicing dentistry in Southern California since 1998. He established his first practice in the City of Vista in 2002 and moved to his new state-of-the-art full digital practice in Vista in 2010. Dr. Okba dedicates countless hours to studying and understanding the newest techniques and technology in the field. He is passionate about solving complex cases and understanding the needs and concerns of his patients.
Dr. Okba devotes his life to his patients and his beautiful family. He is involved in educating his community when it comes to dental preventive care and maintaining a healthy smile and a healthy body, starting with our beloved youth to our appreciated and respected seniors.
Nancy is our Office Manager, a.k.a. Jack of All Trades!, and brings over 15 years dental experience to our office. She prides herself on running a practice that is driven by customer service so that every patient has a positive dental experience each time they visit our office. Nancy's other passion is her family. She is happily married and the proud mother to her 13 year old son. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active by dancing, playing sports, and tending to her beloved houseplants!
Cheyenne is one of our Registered Dental Assistants. She has a genuine concern for the health and well being of each and every person she meets and treats. Cheyenne was born and raised in San Diego County and enjoys her Sunday bike rides on the beach. She makes sure to stay active so she can keep up with her new cat, Hazel.

Getting the appointment was easy. Everything after was not. Waited over a month to find out if my insurance approved or denied (they denied) but throughout I had to call the office constantly to get updated. They never reached out to let me know anything. Communication sucks.

Front reception and staff are super friendly however there is a lot of miscommunication. New Orthodontist arrive every couple months and they delay the process of my braces due to their different methods of orthodontic practice. I have never been seen on time despite showing up 15 mins early. I usually wait an hour to be seen and then I wait another 30 minutes in the chair for someone to come change my bands. I wish upper management would do a little better. I regret choosing this place to spend my money at.

Made an appointment to have my wisdom teeth extracted. I was told they would be removed(through a phone call at the beginning of the week)just to find out they scheduled me wrong, everyone looked at me like they had no clue what was happening and all had bad attitudes. They took x-rays and sent me to there "sister store".These people are unorganized, not polite. Unprofessional.

I actually came to Pearl Dental for a second opinion, after contacting several other dental offices and leaving my contact info on a SECOND OPINION, non of them would call me back! When I called Pearl they got me in the following day! I was very impressed with the staff, I was very nervous and they were able to put me at ease. Everyone was personable and professional, also their $ prices are quite reasonable. Thanks Pearl Dental, I will definitely continue to patronize your clinic.

The only thing I can say is that I was criticize by the Doctor... shaming me instead of helping me and not giving me a plan for a solution. He smelled like cigarettes.

**UPDATE** I don't know how... But Last night, I was in a bit of pain from the extraction but not too much. When I woke up this morning... No pain. At all. I was anticipating hurting for quite a while. I'm going to make the assumption that they did such a great, clean job that I don't have any lingering pain! I can see the hole where my tooth was and it honestly looks so clean. My gums that surrounded the tooth look untouched. Thank you soooooo much for such an incredible experience? I've been dreading taking these wisdom teeth out, but I have literally no fear now. ---------------------------------- They work SO fast. I love it. No funny business. I came in to get my wisdom teeth looked at for extraction, I mentioned that I was in pain, and they jumped to help me right then and there. They extracted the one that was giving me the worst pain and then set me up for the other three. I am really grateful I came here. I was originally referred to a different dentist to have them extracted, but they never answered their phones. When I called Pearl Dental Group, they answered their phones right away, got me in their office within a week, and helped resolve a big pain in my mouth. Thanks Pearl Dental Group! I'll be letting everyone I know to come to your location!

Me and my wife are patients since 2016. All staff is very professional and nice. Doctor Okba is a Top-Notch professional and he always do a great job. Very concentrated and make the job done, no matter what. I had a very difficult situation with my teeth and he is making impossible things with me. My smile and bite are coming back to me, visit by visit. I am very appreciated for everything Doctor Okba did for me and my wife. Prices are very affordable and to be honest, way below the level of service you are getting here. Girls at the register always could help to accommodate every financial situation and work something out. Now I live almost an hour away, but I still keep coming back at this place no matter what. Highly recommend to anyone.
