Dr. Cassinelli is a board certified pediatric dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She received her undergraduate degree in 1996 at the University of Richmond. Her dental degree was earned at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2000. Dr. Cassinelli was a Schweitzer Fellowship recipient for her study of autism and the dental patient as a dental student. Her advanced training in pediatric dentistry was at the Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh. She was chief resident for the 2001-2002 academic years. While in residency, Dr. Cassinelli did research in pediatric dental sedation. She received extensive experience with sedation technique, general anesthesia and trauma. While Dr. Cassinelli practiced in Cleveland Ohio, she was a member of the cleft palate/craniofacial team at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Cassinelli provides treatment in the operating room under general anesthesia at The Pediatric Surgery Center at Atlanta Outpatient and at Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. She also volunteers her dental services to the children of the City of Refuge in Atlanta. In addition to being a diplomat to the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, she holds professional memberships to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Rhya Waddell is a graduate of the Atlanta Dental Assistant School. She is also currently attending Georgia State University. Rhya assists Dr. Cassinelli with examining and treating patients. She loves working with children, and enjoys helping them feel as comfortable as possible in the dental chair. When not at work, Rhya enjoys doing exciting things, such as SCUBA diving, with her family and friends.
Autumn is originally from Los Angeles California and moved here as a child. She loves to serve people and explore Atlanta on her off time.She has been in dentistry for 11 years. Autumn is a certified dental assistant and worked her way up to the front office.She is happy to have found Peak Pediatric Dentistry as she grows more in her career and is able to serve children and families.
Dawn has been practicing pediatric dentistry for twenty five plus years. Dr. Cassinelli and Dawn worked together in their previous practice for more than 10 years. She is well versed in communicating and comforting the children in their dental health. Dawn and her husband are empty nesters and spend their free time with dogs and riding the motorcycle.
Morgan is a student at Kennesaw State University. She is currently pursuing a career in dentistry. You can find Morgan in the back helping the hygienists while gaining dental experience. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and watching movies with friends.
Anna is a student at Kennesaw State University. Anna is interested in a career in dentistry. You will see Anna at the front desk and also assisting in the back to gain knowledge in all aspects of dentistry. When Anna is not at Peak, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and loves to ride roller coasters!
Allison is a graduate of The Georgia Highlands Dental Hygiene program, class of 2010. She has been practicing pediatric dentistry with Dr. Aimee since 2007. She takes great pride in coaching the younger generation on the importance of proper hygiene, so they can be confident and successful with their dental care.
Stephanie is a graduate from university of Stockton, where she earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Genetics. After getting married, She decided to go back to school and receive her Hygiene degree from Harcum College in Pennsylvania. Stephanie is an experienced pediatric dental hygienist with over 16 year of practice. Stephanie continues to focus on providing the highest quality pediatric care for her patients. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. However, she still sneaks in time to do a little shopping.
