Lance Vicente, D.M.D. grew up in Edgewater, NJ and loves being able to practice near his hometown. After graduating from Ramapo College of New Jersey Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology, he went directly to Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (Formerly UMDNJ) to receive his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry. During his time as a dental student, Dr. Vicente was honored to be accepted into Gamma Pi Delta, the Prosthodontic Honor Society, due to his clinical excellence. He then went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center, where he received further training in all aspects of dentistry, including root canals, oral surgery, fixed and removal prosthodontics, implant placement, pediatric dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, special needs dentistry, operating room dentistry, and the management of medically complex patients. Dr. Vicente enjoys working with a wonderful staff and a loyal patient base.
Dr. Vicente currently lives in Bloomfield, NJ with his wife, Gina. Some interests and hobbies of his include technology, fishing, Ultimate Frisbee, and spending quality time with friends and family. He is an active member-at-large of the Bergen County Dental Society as well as the New Jersey Dental Association and frequently takes continuing education on many aspects of dentistry to keep his knowledge, materials, and techniques up-to-date. Dr. Vicente is always accepting new patients and will always make time for a patient with a dental emergency.
