Dr. Brett Nelson leads our dedicated team with a focus on providing personalized dental care, so we are all committed to building relationships with our patients. We look forward to meeting you in person, and we know you'll love being a part of the Peak Dental Health family!
Dr. Brett Nelson is a second-generation dentist originally from Indiana. He completed his training at the University of Colorado and has made Colorado his permanent home since 1999. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Association of Endodontics, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is also a certified Invisalign provider.
Dr. Nelson loves people, and one of his favorite parts of the day is meeting patients and hearing their personal stories. He also loves troubleshooting and fixing problems, so dentistry was a natural fit for him. He understands that dental treatment is life-changing for many people, and he enjoys helping patients achieve their goals for their smiles and their dental health.
When he's not taking care of patients, Dr. Nelson can be found spending time with his wife and two daughters, Phoebe and Sophie. He also loves mountain biking, hiking, climbing, woodworking, swimming, and running.
A native of Frederick, Colorado, Alessa attended PIMA Medical Institute for her dental assisting certificate, graduating in 2013. She has worked in the dental field since 2014 and joined Peak Dental Health in September of 2019.
Alessa loves helping patients by working with their insurance plans to maximize their benefits to get the dentistry they need to stay healthy. She also loves to see patients transform their oral health and their smiles.
When she is not helping patients at the dental office, you will often find Alessa spending time with her husband and children. They like to go camping, fishing, and to their childrens sporting events.
Valentine is originally from Broomfield, CO, and she is one of Dr. Nelson's dental assistants. She loves interacting with patients and the role she plays in making them feel comfortable and welcome at Peak Dental Health. Valentine is in the process of applying to dental school and hopes to be a student by 2020.
Teresa is originally from Denver, CO and she is one of Dr. Nelson's dental assistants. She's been in dentistry for over a decade, and she loves the patient satisfaction that she receives from providing exceptional dental care with great results.

Dr. Nelson is an outstandingly competent, compassionate, and caring dentist. His office staff is welcoming and friendly, while always professionally treating you as a valued patient. Teresa is an outstanding and expert dental assistant. They provide great dental hygienists for you cleanings. There is no need to look elsewhere for a great dental office!

I was saying last week by doctor Nelson and his style follows B and it's 5 hours beyond placed with the staff and the courtesy from the moment I walked in the door I had to have a tooth pulled and doctor vernelson made me feel really good I wish I would have found him years ago

Highly recommended! I started going to Peak Dental a couple years back. I choose them specifically because they did veneers. I knew I'd want to get them eventually but needed more details. I started with a consult and estimate and never felt pressure to do the procedure. Dr Nelson provided me with a cost breakdown, and walked through the steps of the process. I even got a video testimonial that showed me the process. After saving for a while I was able to get my veneers and I could not be happier with the results. They look like my teeth but better. When sharing with friends and family they comment on how beautiful they look and that they look very natural. The color matches my natural teeth which I whitened before hand and it has been a very comfortable transition. I experience some anxiety during dental procedures beyond a cleaning and the team has always had the laughing gas available for me. My favorite thing is their TVs in each room with calming scenery on loop. Dare I say I relax when I go in for a cleaning? At Peak Dental, yes! Dr Nelson and his team are positively delightful from my typical dental work to the cosmetic procedure. I can't recommend them enough for great dental care.

I visited Dr. Nelson's office at the last minute for a lower retainer repair. As a new patient, I did some research of the practice and it was all positive. My own experience was very positive, a friendly staff, Dr. Nelson and I share a common interest in cycling but as a dentist, he was top notch and very thorough. I am very pleased I am now a patient at Peak Dental!

I have been with Doctor Nelson gong on two years. I have all good things to say about him and his staff. Always attentive and considerate of my needs. Because of a bad experience as a child, I do not like going to the dentist. This office offers me comfort and is exceptional at helping me be comfortable.
