Dr. Barry K. Marcum obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky and completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Florida. He has been in private practice since 1995.
Dr. Marcum is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, the Northern District Dental Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Eric D. Mobley has been in private practice since 1998. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Kentucky and completed his pediatric dental residency at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. He was a fellow of pediatric dentistry in Dayton Children's Hospital.
Dr. Mobley is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the northern District Dental Society. He has taught and performed Pediatric Dentistry in multiple countries around the world. Working with the dentist and children from Northern Africa to Russia has been his passion for many years. He also has a special heart for the children of Haiti and loves working at the dental clinic in an orphanage in Ouanaminthe City, Haiti.
Dr. Kiersten J. Pannell grew up in Fayette County, and is an alum of Starrs Mill High School. She moved away to Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Xavier University with a degree in Chemical Science, and minors in biochemistry and English. Dr. Pannell went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. She then received her certificate of pediatric dentistry from the University of Florida.

I just want to say how much this office staff and Drs impressed me. I called because my granddaughter, who was not an established patient, had a toothache her entire one side of her face looked like a chipmunk....they got her in, were friendly, helpful, and caring!!! I can not thank everyone there enough. They made her feel special while she was in pain. Y'all are amazing!!!

We've been using this practice ever since our, now college aged, daughter was a toddler. I can't say enough good about the entire staff. Our youngest son is special needs and puts up a huge fight at every appointment, but the doctors and staff are all so patient and understanding. The quality of care they offer is unsurpassed, and their office runs like clockwork. Wait times for appointments, even on busy days, are minimal and at most appointments we are taken back immediately. In 16 years, we've never had a single complaint.

Our 3 year old had a traumatic dental experience with Dentistry for Children and Teens. Since then, she has been terrified and screamed her way through every dental visit she's ever had. Even other practices we took her to, and warned them of her fears, treated her with disdain and allowed her to scream and cry the whole way through the checkup's and procedures. As a mother, I too was traumatized by her dental experiences. This all changed when we took her to this practice. From the moment we walked in, you could tell from the clean environment, friendly staff, and attention to detail for children's interest that they care about pleasing your child. When they first approached my daughter to walk her back to her appointment, she started to cry. The dentist right away calmed her fears, spoke friendly with her, and my daughter willingly went back to the office with a smile on her face. She did not cry once at all. They even were able to get her to take xrays without screaming by making it a fun game that she enjoyed. She did not cry at all and said that she enjoyed the experience. I could not believe how patient the entire staff was with her and how fun they made it for her. This is what going to the dentist should be like. I've been to a few dental practices for pediatric and none have been a good as this. Please spare your children, look no further and bring them to this practice. I went to the one in Peachtree City. I hope all their locations are as awesome as this one was. Now, our daughter will no longer fear going to the dentist.

Highly recommend. Dr. Marcum took care of my 4 year old daughter and got her out of tooth pain. They got us in early for an emergency appointment and everything was professional from the first call, to the front office, to the dental assistants, and of course the doctor.
