Dr. Carlo DeLeon completed his undergraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University in Electrical Engineering. He then worked as an Engineer in the nuclear industry for a total of four years until he realized his true passion in dentistry. Dr. DeLeon pursued a dental career and earned his dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He continued his professional development in an advanced education residency program at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where he focused on special needs patients, full mouth rehabilitation cases, cosmetic cases, and CAD/CAM dentistry. In his practice of dentistry at MUSC, he focused on comprehensive care grounded in evidence based dentistry.
Dr. DeLeon is committed to helping with the problem of access to dental care by volunteering at St. James Free Clinic in Ashland, VA. He also participated in dental missions in the past like the Jamaica Project, Dental Access Day in South Carolina, and Dental Christian Fellowship Mission in Ecuador. Dr. DeLeon loves dentistry and he finds the skills he developed in the practice of engineering complement his attention to details in dentistry. He is a great listener and his patients concern is of utmost importance to him. When Dr. DeLeon is not volunteering or working, he can be found spending time with his dog (Bruno) and traveling. You can also find him spending time with his large family and playing with his two nieces and three nephews.
Cristina grew up in a small town outside of Richmond, where she learned from a young age how important having lifelong friends and family is good for the soul. Summertime is Cristinas favorite, nothing can beat having a little fun in the sun including driving her Jeep on the beaches of Outer Banks, NC. She believes traveling and seeing new places and learning different cultures is essential for having fulfilling life experiences.
Marlene grew up in Prince George and Chesterfield County. She loves being in the country but close enough into town to enjoy all it has to offer. Marlene is a faculty member for the dental assisting program at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. She worked in the graduate periodontics department at Virginia Commonwealth University for many years before chasing her dream of becoming a dental hygienist. Her hobbies are very diverse from riding her horse, Paris, to reading a good book. Marlene is very active in her professional organization; The Virginia Dental Hygienist Association in which she holds various positions.
If you need to know anything about great restaurants, drinks, or fun travel, Megan is the go-to girl! Megan also grew up in the outskirts of Richmond. Her favorite time of year is Spring, where she can sit on the patio, enjoy a little sunshine, and read a good book. If she had to pick, her favorite book would be The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. Megan is musically inclined and played violin for ten years! When Megan gets free time you will rarely catch her sitting at home, she is a social butterfly and enjoys all the things that life has to offer!
Nitzia was born and raised in Houston, Texas until her family brought her here to the East Coast. She is a vibrant, light-hearted, bundle of energy whose main focus is raising her three smart, beautiful daughters. Nitzia is bilingual in Spanish and English. She is no stranger to the world of good food, good drinks, and what it means to treat every guest with the hospitality reserved for friends and family.
Ella is a Virginia local, where she grew up here on a farm. When she is away from PeachTree Family Dentistry, she spends time catching up on her reading list, binge watching Netflix shows, cooking for her loving husband, and seeking the company of her precious cat, Axel. If she could pick one season for all year around it would be winter time, she loves the snow! Ella brings her sweet and gentle spirit to our office and puts all of our patients at ease.

I had a "mini" emergency with a crown breaking over the weekend. Left a voicemail hoping I could be squeezed in Monday. I received a call from Megan before the office even opened to see if I could come in now. Not at all expected these days since you're lucky some times to even get a response. All the employee there are so upbeat and treat me so friendly, it's as if I was a part of their family. Dr. DeLeon's work has been great and I especially like that he has the equiptment to make crowns in the office so I don't have to be in a temporary for two weeks which is a huge plus for me.

I can't recommend Peachtree Family Dentistry enough. From the environment to the service, everything is excellent. The dental hygienists all do great work, and Dr. DeLeon really seems to stay on top of monitoring potential areas of concern with a much greater focus on prevention rather than more expensive fixes later down the road (something I can't say for other dentists I've been to). Everyone there seems to really enjoy working there, and if you don't hear someone laughing at some point during your visit then you must have caught them on an off day. They also don't nickel and dime you for minor additional things, so patients really do seem like a priority instead of just a paycheck for them.

I was having some significant wisdom tooth pain, so I called late Monday afternoon and was able to get them extracted on Thursday morning. Everything went super smooth! Patient care and customer service are top notch at Peachtree! Dr. Deleon let me pick the music that played during my appointment. Ella, his assistant/hygienist, was super kind and made me feel relaxed, especially while I was getting the numbing shots. I also so appreciated that they went over costs prior to the procedure.

This Dentistry team is the best in richmond actually the best in virginia as far as I'm concerned. I have severe dental anxiety and struggled to find a dentist that was willing to work with me through it. My teeth were in rough shape. I have some mental health issues that contributed to where my teeth were. Never once was I shamed for the condition my teeth were in the whole team at peach tree were concerned with getting me to a point where I had a pain free healthy smile again. I'm glad to say while we still have work to do I am pain free and can eat again. I take my son (7) here without question. My kiddo is quite the wild one with adhd but he was able to get fillings he needed here due to the diligence and patience of this team. Dr. D is both professional but able to make you feel comfortable and happy coming to the dentist honestly everytime I come its like visiting old friends.

I love coming to see Dr Deleon and the peach tree team, I recently had a restoration come out I had the worst experience getting it done at a different practice so I was really anxious about having it restored again. Dr Deleon made sure I was comfortable the whole time, and made sure I didn't feel a thing. I wish I could give him ten stars! You rock!

I had the most pleasant visit at this facility. The staff is very nice and the the dentist was wonderful. Very knowledgeable people and just overall great environment. Everyone seems like they are really enjoying being there for their patients and that just makes you feel very happy. Definitely coming back and recommending to my close friends.
