Dr. Thompson received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. After working as a mechanical engineer for 8 years, he returned to graduate school at the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Dentistry.
He has always enjoyed intricate detailed work, but being a dentist has offered him the opportunity to solve complex problems while building long-term relationships with each of his unique patients. He has the gift of putting anxious people at ease and communicating clearly and honestly with his patients.
Katie loves to keep your smile healthy and beautiful. She is often the first to discover a dental issue and works closely with Dr. Thompson to evaluate your total oral health. Our patients consistently rave about her gentle touch and careful efficiency. Katie lives in Murphy with her husband, three children and a menagerie of pets. She can be found behind her camera or boating on the lake!
Sherry has been a hygienist for 19 years and is a careful and gentle practitioner. She is an excellent educator and takes the time to teach and encourage good habits. She grew up in Montana and has 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. She lives in Warne with her husband and their dogs. They enjoy traveling, hiking, kayaking, and playing in the river with the dogs!
Crystal brings a wealth of experience to the front desk, and will be the first person you meet on your visit. She patiently deals with insurance claims, keeps the schedule full, and also works as a hygienist. Crystal and her husband live near the lake with their two children and enjoy their sons ballgames, rodeos, biking, and boating on the lake.
MaKenna is Dr. Thompson right hand assistant, and is exceptionally organized and efficient. She handles our busiest days with incredible skill and has a gift of calming nervous patients. She recently bought her first home and is enjoying updating and remodeling her new place and spoiling her dogs.
Weve been blessed to have a compassionate, hard-working team of people who care for the things we value most: integrity, expertise, and kindness. We arent just co-workers, were family. And we arent afraid to have fun too!

I had a broken infected tooth that was giving me pain. I called for an appointment and was pleasantly surprised to be able to be seen the same day. The staff was amazing. Everyone I spoke with was calm, reassuring and compassionate. I highly recommend this office to anyone needing dental care.

Everyone was so helpful, friendly, and efficient! The front desk girl ( sorry I don't know her name) was on the ball with appointment times, procedure pricing, and suggestions to maximize services for my money which was greatly appreciated! Sherry did a top-notch cleaning of my teeth. She took her time and checked her work as well as asking for my assessment before completion. Dr. Thompson was friendly, efficient, and took time to answer all my questions. Also, very little wait time, which was nice. An overall great dental experience. Thank you Peachtree Dental!

This practice is great. The dental hygienist was gentle, professional, competent, and very thorough. After a couple of less than stellar experiences trying to find a dentist I was comfortable with, I was lucky enough to get an appointment after a friend suggested this practice. THANK YOU.
