Aftergraduatingfrom the University of Las Vegas Nevada School of Dental Medicine at the top of his class Dr. Burk moved to New Mexico and started his private practice, focusing on cosmetic andrestorativedentistry for the whole family. However Dr. Burks pursuit of excellence did not end. He has taken numerous advanced courses at suchprestigiousinstitutions as the LasVegasInstitute for Advanced Dental Studies and the ScottsdaleCenter for Dentistry. Dr. Burk is also one of the few doctors in New Mexico trained in the Six month Smile short term orthodontic technique. He completes over twice the yearly requirement of continuing education to ensure that you arereceivingthe most advanced and highest quality of care.

Dr. Burk is also very active in his Church and community. He has enjoyed working with the Boy Scouts of America and is an Eagle scout, the highest awarded rank in the Boy Scouts. Dr. Burk also takes the time to give back to the community by participating in charitableorganizationssuch as the New Mexico Mission of Mercy.

Hi my name is Chris. I am the newest member of the Peach Tree Dental Family. The Peach Tree staff and Dr Burk have treated me like family since the first day. Thats what kind of service you will receive at Peach Tree; to be treated like family. My family and I have lived in Albuquerque for over 16 years. My husband Jason and I have been married for over 20 years. We have 5 boys. We enjoy the beautiful sunsets in Albuquerque; where all of the colors of the rainbow dance in the sky. For family adventures, we go hiking, camping and on road trips. We are active parents in our boys extra curricular activities including basketball, rugby, orchestra, high school marching band, and track & field. After 20+ years of being out of school, Chris has decided to continue her college education online at BYU Idaho, with hopes to receive her bachelors in Business Communications. Chris enjoys sewing, knitting, cross stitching, baking for her family and the occasional piece of chocolate. She hasnt met a piece of chocolate she hasnt liked.

Val has been a dental hygienist for 22 years, and has loved getting to know so many interesting people. She and her husband Brant have 4 grown children and 12 adorable grandchildren. Val loves to read, bake, walk, do yoga and travel to visit her family in 3 different states. And she loves her job at Peach Tree Dental!

I have been married for twenty seven years and we have been blessed with three wonderful children. We are all fluent in Spanish and live busy and active lives. We love to cook and spend time with family and friends.

My family moved from San Diego, CA to Albuquerque, NM in 1991. I love the climate, cultural diversity, and food (green chili please!) in New Mexico. I will always consider Albuquerque my home. My aim in life is to be a positive contributing member of the dental field by educating patients and advocating preventive care. I stated in the dental field in 1999 as a dental assistant, and have worked my way up through hard work and education to become a registered dental hygienist.
