Dr. D. Kendrick Mathews and Dr. Katie M. Garvin are dentists in Fort Valley providing comprehensive dentistry services for patients in the surrounding areas. As dentists licensed in GA, Drs. Mathews and Garvin provide preventative examinations, advanced diagnostics, and treatments regarding oral and dental health. They both works hard to stay abreast of the latest advances in dental care and participates in regular continuing education seminars and advanced training courses.
Dr. Mathews was born and raised in Fort Valley. He attended the University of Georgia and completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in 1974. He and his wife of 37 years, Debbie, have two grown daughters and two grandsons. Dr. Mathews is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Hinman Dental Society. He is a past President of the Central District Dental Society of the Georgia Dental Association and has been named an Honorable Fellow of the GDA.
Dr. Garvin was also born and raised in Fort Valley and is the daughter of Dr. Mathews. She attended Furman University in Greenville, SC. Dr. Garvin received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2007 from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Garvin met her husband while in dental school and they were married in 2007. They have two young sons and currently live in Macon, GA. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association. She currently serves on the state level as the New Dentist Liaison with the GDA. Dr. Garvin is also an active member of the Junior League of Macon, Inc.

I am a person with significant anxiety when it comes to anything dental related. My day started with a dental emergency. They were able to see me today and for that I am forever grateful. From start to finish, the staff made me feel comfortable and safe. I'm thankful this practice was recommended.
