She moved to the U.S. at the age of six and has been a midwestern girl ever since. She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a minor in Psychology. Right after IU, she pursued her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. Upon completion of her doctorate in dental medicine, Dr. Sara was accepted to NYU for her pediatric dental residency. She was so excited for the opportunity to live in the Big Apple! During residency she fell in love with the city and decided to stay. Dr. Sara enjoys dining at new restaurants in the city and is always up for an adventure to travel anywhere in the world or even taking long walks to different neighborhoods in the city.
Dr. Sara is a board eligible pediatric dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association. She is looking forward to providing compassionate and excellent care to the kids of the Long Island City and Astoria community.

Dr. Tiya graduated from Chulalongkorn University College of Dentistry, the top dental school in Thailand and has served as a dental officer in the Royal Thai Navy. She came to New York to pursue the specialty of orthodontics. She earned both her postgraduate certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics and doctor of dental surgery (DDS) from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Tiya has presented across the world including the annual sessions of the FDI World Dental Federation and American Dental Education Association. The quality of her patient care is exemplified in being selected by the American Association of Orthodontists for display during their annual meeting. She also takes great pride in achieving board certification in the American Board of Orthodontics. This is often seen as the pinnacle achievement of clinical orthodontics.
More importantly is Dr. Tiyas care and concern that she has for her patients. She enjoys working with children, teenagers and adults alike and understands the importance of being able to help them achieve the smile of their dreams.
In her free time, Dr. Tiya enjoys traveling to experience different countries, their culture and their food. She is excited to be part of the Long Island City and Astoria community and looks forward to giving everyone the smile they have always dreamed of!

Dr.Tiya is an absolutely wonderful dentist. I have a monthly braces adjustment appointment for the past 1.5 years with her and I am very pleased with each visit. Dr.Tiya always makes sure I understand the procedures and never impose unnecessary treatments. This is by far the best dental place I have been. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed!

Highly recommend this clinic for your orthodontic needs and pediatric dental care! Staffs are amazing and friendly and the clinic is so clean and nice. Dr. Tiya is excellent at explaining treatment options and making me very comfortable throughout the whole process.

I took my daughter to regular check up for both cleaning and her braces. Both doctors are very kind and really did a great jobs. I recommend Dr. Sara and Dr.Tiya! If you looking for Pediatric dentist and Orthodontist, PCO dental is the best answer!!

Took my 30-month old son to see a dentist for the first time. It wasn't easy, he cried but Dr. Sara was just perfect. At the end of the appointment, my son was delighted to get a new toothbrush and even showed Dr. Sara how he brushes his teeth, he was really proud. The office is new, clean and beautiful and the whole staff, especially Grace at the welcome desk, is lovely.

Phenomenal office and Dr. Tiya and Dr. Sara make a wonderful team! It's great to have a practice that takes care of the comprehensive needs of children and also has a stellar orthodontist on-site, significantly reducing wait times and ensuring smooth transition and treatment rather than having to go to separate offices. Very kind and responsive staff and I highly recommend this place!

Dr Sara's warm and motherly approach has won the hearts of us parents and children alike. Dr Tiya's gracious and professional approach puts all her patients at ease. My three toddlers look forward to their Dental appointments with Dr Sara whilst my two teenagers often compliment on how Dr Tiya goes the extra mile to explain to them the intricacies of Orthodontics, the biomechanics at play and ultimately how patient adherence plays a vital role in the outcome of their therapy. From the parent's perspective, not having to put up with the frustrations of an upset child nor an angsty teenager waging war against their dentist is a huge plus point already!
