Experience: Benjamin Ben Wright has worked as an administrator for organizations dedicated to serving those in need for more than 30 years. That experience has included serving the mentally ill, medically fragile, and overseeing a variety of licensed facilities. Ensuring the health and wellness of those served, while supporting the viability of the organization providing services, has been the cornerstone of his career.
Ben historically has encouraged organizational success development and expansion. Each of the organizations Ben has been a part of has grown in both the programs offered, as well as the number of individuals served; which was accomplished while increasing the reinvestment margin of the organization. Ben has also provided consulting for nonprofit boards.
Experience: Dr. Magee began his work with PCHS in October of 2008. As Chief Medical Officer, Dr Magee is responsible for clinical quality and oversight within PCHS including ourQuality Improvement/Quality Assurance Program. Dr. Magee has extensive experience serving in administrative positions as the Medical Director at eight organizations all of which are located in Alaska. Dr. Magee was also the Chief Resident of Psychiatry at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He served in the Alaska Psychiatric Association as President Elect, President, and Secretary, and has teaching and lecturing experience. Dr. Magee has received many honors and awards. He received his Bachelors Degree in Chemistry and his medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Utah. He had a surgery Internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch and his Psychiatric Residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine/Psychiatric Department.
Training: Dr. Magee is Board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology and was a Clinical preceptor for medical students from the University of Washington and the University of Utah. He has also been a seminar and lecture series presenter on various psychiatric and medical conditions throughout Alaska.
Experience: Cris has many years of operations and leadership experience in various fields including legal, banking and medical. She was initially drawn to PCHS by its mission and values, and welcomed the opportunity to apply her administrative experience and education to help PCHS patients and clients get the care they need. She continues to be inspired and motivated by PCHS patients, clients, and staff to bring her best efforts to PCHS every day.
She is now enjoying the sights and picturesque views of the Soldotna/Kenai area of Alaska. She enjoys mystery movies, reading, campfires, and spending time with her kids, husband, and dogs, as well as getting more education into her background.
Education:Thom holds a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Golden Gate University, a Masters in Quality Assurance from California State University, and a Bachelors in Justice Studies from Arizona State University.
Experience: Thom Faris has achieved 'meaningful compliance' for many manufacturers of oncology devices and health information systems. Balancing the need for regulatory and legal compliance with the drive for operational excellence, Thom has been instrumental in the commercial success of several organizations designing and producing devices and software used in the treatment of cancer. He believes in satisfying requirements inherently within the intended good practices of the organization, rather than additional layers of bureaucracy and paperwork, to keep the focus on the interests of the company, health care providers, and, ultimately, the patient.
Experience:Patty started working with CPCS in October 2005, before becoming Director of Human Resources when it merged and became PCHS in October 2008. She has worked in the HR field for over 20 years and has obtained her Professional in Human Resources as well as her HR certificate through SHRM.
She enjoys hiking, fishing, reading and wildlife viewing. She is married with one adult son who lives in Anchorage. She has lived here on the Kenai Peninsula for 10 years, having moved up from CA, and loves the small town feel here on the Peninsula.

Profile: Alan worked at PCHS as the Applications Coordinator before becoming the Director of Health Information Technology in 2015. He has over 22 years combined experience in Healthcare IT and specialized IT. Those years of experience span honorable military service in the US Army as a signaleer; project manager, network and systems administrator assignments as a Department of Defense (DoD) Civilian and DoD Contractor in numerous worldwide locations to include Haiti, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Qatar, among others. Prior to working at PCHS, Alan was a project manager for the US Army Network Enterprise Center at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. Previous to that, he was a General Dynamics IT project manager/multi-functional system administrator for MC4, supporting military EMRs and EHRs throughout the world.
Dr. Milner was born and raised in Central Illinois. After completing his professional education he volunteered to join the Army as a general dentist. After his military service he returned to his home town and started his own private practice. His son followed in his footsteps and joined him as a partner in 2012. Having his son on board allowed Dr. Milner the freedom to pursue one of his lifelong dreams. So in 2013, he hiked the entire 2200-mile Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. After a backpacking trip to Alaska he fell in love with the state and the endless adventures it offers. Aside from backpacking and hiking he enjoys his Jeep, photography and baseball. Dr. Milner is a caring professional and is delighted to be a part of the PCHS team.
Profile:Jed is a licensed clinical social worker. Jed completed his graduate studies at Boise State University. During his graduate studies he completed a clinical practicum at an acute psychiatric facility. Jed enjoys working with adolescents and adults struggling with substance abuse and other co-occurring disorders. Jed believes in a holistic approach to treatment and individualizes the treatment process to each client. In his spare time, Jed enjoys hiking, fishing, camping and spending time with his chocolate lab, Dezi.
