An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

One of the best experiences I've had a dentist's office. They were professional, friendly and knowledgeable, starting from the front staffs, the dental assistants all the way to Dr. Karen. Had a sudden pounding pain around the last tooth in the back. They fit me in immediately and they stayed through their lunch time to diagnose, explain and treat me, thoroughly and completely. Never felt rushed. They never try to up sell me stuff. So glad to have found this place so close to me.

Hands down Dr. Jefferson, Dr. Kim and Dr. Luong are the best. Front office staff super nice and professional, overall outstanding! Solo is absolutely amazing! I've been a patient of PCH Smiles for about 6-7 years. I've had both general dentistry and orthodontic services over the years and have always had positive experiences. Even turned my husband on to them and he's now a patient as well. Initially Dr Jefferson was my dentist, but later it switched to Dr Kim. Both extremely kind and patient, taking the time to explain things always. Hygienist have also been generally good. Front office staff has gotten better over the years, IMO...especially now, I like that they've automated more and that they have a waitlist which they seem to honor when slots open up. I definitely recommend!

Dr. Karen is a very good dentist. I was very happy with everything, except at the end of the visit, the assistant polished my teeth and flossed them much too roughly. It felt like someone scouring the barbecue grill with Ajax. Similarly, the floss was jammed down between my teeth so hard it hurt my gums. Then I had to ask for a piece of floss because the gritty polish hadn't been rinsed off and pieces were stuck between my teeth. I took off one star for this.

Practicamente tuve que vomitar el agua y saliva porque no quiso poner la manguera de succion en mi boca y al usar el hilo dental me lastimo mucho la encia. Y su actitud es lo peor. Ojala y la clinica tome esto en serio pues no es nada profesional de su parte!!!

Honestly I love it here. Never thought I'd ever say that about a dental office lol. I've been coming here for the last couple years and I'm always treated so well. The entire staff is friendly I've never had a bad or cold interaction with anyone. All the doctors and hygienists that have treated me have all been gentle and kind. They'll pause to make sure you're okay and check in with you which I'm so grateful for because it keeps me calm throughout the whole process. I'm always so at ease here and feel really taken care of at every visit.

Poor appointment management, Nice doctors. I went for a check up and cleaning and was made to wait for an hour before I was finally seen by the doctor. I was in the waiting room for 40 minutes while people who came in after me, including a walk-in patient who paid out of pocket in cash was taken to get his x-rays done before I was. When my husband asked why it was taking so long, the woman at the front desk wasn't the nicest and said in a loud rude voice that they can't take me in until the x-ray room is available. My husband had to accompany me for my visit because I had broken my foot a few weeks ago and we had specifically asked for a 1pm appointment so he could take me during his lunch break. There were 2 people at the front desk and the other lady, who had also broken her foot co-incidentally and was riding a scooter, was really nice to us. The other issue I had was with the cost of the crown that was recommended to me even though it was one that was medically necessary so I'll be going to someone else for a second opinion. The doctor, Dr. Kim was nice. The hygienist was also sweet though it was super weird to not have plumbing in the room where my cleaning took place. No sink, no water and if I had to spit, someone would just suction my mouth. Not sure if this is the standard practice at most offices. Overall, it was okay for a cleaning but most likely would change my primary dentist in a few months since it took me 2 hours for the visit.

They get you in the door then tell me a lie that my insurance was active. Called my insurance while my son was being looked at and stated It was still active since 2015. Don't be fooled by these people. Scammers and lie about your insurance, what they got was 59 dollars cleaning, which my son was not supposed to go there for.
