Dr. Gustav Gates proudly served the Temple community for decades. In order to spend more time with his wife and to travel the world, he recently transitioned his dental office over to Dr. Manuel Pazmino. Dr. Manuel Pazmino, Jr. wasn't born a dentist, but it was his destiny. His mother was pregnant with him during her last year of dental school, and he grew up in a world of dentistry - his mother is a dentist and is father is a master dental technician.
As a youngster, Manny began washing models, and every summer was spent doing things around his mother 's dental office. By his early teen years, he was assisting and scheduling patients. During his time working towards his undergraduate degree, he worked as a dental lab technician. 'With the exception of dental hygienist, I have been in almost every position in the dental office,' says Dr. Pazmino. He has also been building and programming computers since age eleven. Dr. Pazmino was born in Hoboken, NJ. He is a first generation American with Cuban ancestry. He earned a BA degree in Biology and Psychology from Rutgers University and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He then received his DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry.
Pamela is originally from Kalispell, MT, and shes been working for our dental office for 21 years now. She has her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (BBA), with a double major in Management and Marketing, from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. She also has over 200 hours of continuing education courses under her belt, as well as her CPR certification. Pamela considers the patients she sees as an extension of her family, and she loves interacting with each one. Their whole dental team is a pleasure to work with daily!
Pamela is part of a fun-loving family of four, and she and her husband have two daughters that are amazing and challenging. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, playing board games with her family, and attending sporting events for the girls. She also LOVES 80s music and has passed on that love to her daughters.
Eileen has been married to Robert for 31 years, and they have been blessed with two sons, one daughter-in-law and an awesome grandson. Outside of the dental office, she enjoys spending time with family, taking road trips, and repurposing furniture.
Sherri has been working in the dental world for 40 years now, having spent the last 25 as a member of our dental office. She attended Lamar University and is certified in CPR. She loves her awesome patients and her work family!
Originally from Belton, Sherri has three amazing sons, five grandchildren (who know her by Ya-Ya), and one awesome husband. In her free time, she enjoys fishing at the coast, playing golf, working out, going bow hunting with her husband, shopping, and spending time with the grandchildren. She also loves going to Port Aransas and wading for fish with her personalized jetty cart.
Originally from McGregor, Celestia has been a member of our team for 12 years now and has 31 years of overall dental experience. She earned her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Temple College before moving on to achieve her Health Sciences Bachelor Degree (BSHS) at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. Her favorite part of her job is being able to make a difference in her patients smiles and lives, as well as forming lifelong friendships.
Celestia is married and has one daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys helping her husband with his vegetable garden, working in the yard, reading and playing with her dogs. Traveling is top on her list - most always to the beach or on a cruise. She feels there is no greater serenity than hearing the ocean and feeling the sand between your toes!
Originally from Huntington, IN, Danielle has been working in dentistry for five years and counting. She received her training through the Red Cross and the Anderson Air Force Base in Guam. She is also certified in nitrous oxide and CPR. Her favorite part of her job is meeting new people and helping her patients get the smile they want to show off!
Danielle and her amazing boyfriend of two years have five children between them, as well as three dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing board games, and watching the deer play in her front yard. She also loves Batman, Minions, Dr. Who, and counting things!
