I had my braces done by Dr. Payne back in 2014 when I was a teenager. When I got my braces off my teeth were perfect! 8 years later my teeth still look amazing! He is by far the best orthodontist in the state of Utah. Dont look anywhere else if you need braces. Dr. Payne is the G.O.A.T!

Payne Orthodontics is a top notch place if you are looking for orthodontic care. Most of their clients, which is typical of the business, are younger, but they also take care of adults, like myself. Dr. Payne is awesome and seems to genuinely care about the patients and their progress. I've been coming here for about 2 years now (almost done) and been very impressed with all the staff. My kids are also patients here and we've been very happy with their care as well. Really, whatever stage you are at in life, this is just a great place. The assistants are super friendly and helpful and do their best to make it as painless a process as possible. Front desk staff are great as well, Melinda is super friendly and does her job very well, they got lucky finding her. The facility is immaculate and upscale, but the price is on par with other places, except they have all the newest high tech stuff on site as well as their own lab to make retainers and whatnot, which means quick turn around when you need a fix or replacement. They even have an arcade for the kids (and parents) to play while waiting. Large Tvs in each with area, typically playing Disney movies, to help distract the patient from what's going on inside the mouth. They also have referral discounts and family discounts, so if you have multiple people in the family that need braces or whatever, they will give you a little break. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else!

I wanted to give a special thanks to Bri (Brianna) at the South Jordan location. I am very self conscious of my teeth right now and she seriously was the most kind, patient, empathetic person my entire appointment and made me feel so comfortable in a really uncomfortable situation for myself. I have a tough case with my crazy teeth and she handled everything like it was nothing. Thank you so much for being so kind to me it means a lot! Also, Dr Johnson has always been amazing every time I've had a visit with him. Very thankful for the team at Payne Ortho!

Dr. Payne is the best!!! He took care of both of my kids and helped them get perfect straight teeth. He's patient and really cares about achieving the best outcome no matter how long it takes. I would totally recommend Dr. Payne and his staff.

We have been so impressed with the staff and service at Payne Orthodontics! Dr Payne is so thorough and makes sure everything is PERFECT! You can tell he truly loves his patients and his staff. I also thought about getting braces (I'm the mom) and he was so honest in telling me I only needed trays and walked me through all options. We will definitely be bringing all of our kids here!

I just finished treatment at Payne Orthodontics. Dr. Payne really knows how to produce outstanding result. I especially appreciate the skill of assistants like Mayra. My teeth have never looked, or felt, better.

My daughter just got her braces off today after nearly 2 years of visits, and adjustments. Through all of it Dr Payne's team had been phenomenal and professional. Dr Payne is meticulous and thorough in getting the smile of your dreams. My daughter is special needs and they were more than patient and competent to handle her sensory issues. I will bring my other kid here for his braces too.

Dr. Payne and his staff have been amazing! He is a perfectionist and my daughter's smile is beautiful! I am currently in braces as an adult and have had a wonderful experience as well. They communicate well and are very professional. I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for ortho work.

I am on my 3rd child being a patient at Payne Orthodonticts and we love it here! We have referred several friends who have also become patients. My kids absolutely love the arcade room. It really helps keep them entertained if we have to wait. And the tvs above each station is also great to occupy them during their appointment. They have a fun and easy reward program for patients with great prizes. The staff is always super nice.

I wish I had researched a bit more before committing to treatment. I am an adult and a professional. Getting appointments that fit my schedule was not easy. When I did have an appointment, I often waited to be seen. At least twice over 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment. I have a well documented and known/on-the -record latex allergy, but I was repeatedly given latex products. It was so bad that I had sores in my mouth, which I asked about. And THEN was told that there was latex in my mouth. I ended treatment early for my own peace of mind. During the end treatment, I was subject to "Hollywood-ing" my teeth - not something that was explained to me beforehand, nor something I was given a choice about. My teeth were ground and sanded. I feel like my teeth now look like dentures. This practice is maybe good for kids - the arcade looks like fun and the prizes are shiny, but it's definitely not set up to manage adult personalities, adult schedules, adult mentalities.

Google says they're opened yet the secretary up front says they're closed. Even for emergencies and here we are 2 days before Thanksgiving. Thanks. Will be going somewhere else from now on. Everyone else is open today.

This place was hard to feel comfortable at both from a COVID-19 standpoint and from the standpoint of being an adult. When I arrived, the staff member at the front desk had her mask under her chin and kept it there for my full interaction with her (getting intake papers, bringing those papers back, etc). I kept looking over as she signed others in and the mask never came back up over her mouth or nose. In addition, there were so many people in there that it felt a bit chaotic. As an adult, it was also hard to feel comfortable there. As a quick tour, they showed me their arcade room, themed stations, and a "prize area" with kids toys you can "buy" with points. I'm sure those are huge perks for kids and teens, but I felt quite out of place as an adult. Lastly, I waited for 20-30 minutes in a room for my consultation, and I ended up finishing the consultation after they were technically closed due to the wait. Overall, rough time. I hope my experience was unique, but I would really encourage the South Jordan location to adjust their COVID protocols for safety reasons.
