Dr. Payam Cohen graduated with honors from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 1997. Upon graduation, he started his residency at Nassau County Medical Center and completed in 1998. He has been in private practice ever since.
We have been in practice at the current office since June, 2000. We offer the latest and most current information and services to our patients with a new state-of-the-art facility in Forest Hills, Queens.

My experience at Dr. Cohen's office was wonderful! His office staff, assistant and himself were very kind and down to earth. Dr. Cohen did a very thorough job and was very gentle. His office is extremely clean and modern. Highly recommend!

Dr. Cohan is an absolutely amazing dentist. Professional, incredibly personal and very knowledgeable. Explains everything I need to know in depth, and works diligently with the utmost care. Best surgeon, dentist ever. Dr. Cohen is very detailed and extremely careful about taking care of every single inch of your teeth, and at any kind of procedure that is needed to be done. His dedication and attention is exceptional, he also explains how and why it should be done giving you the choice of which way to go. I love to go there and I'll keep going whenever needed. Sarah his nurse, is the best person I have had met in a medical office

I've been with Dr. Cohen over 5 years. My children, sister and closest friends also go to him. I highly recommend him and his team for dental work. His professionalism paired with his love for his craft creates a warm and welcoming environment. Dr. Cohen has been my dentist for several years. His office is very clean and they are always friendly & professional. Most importantly, Dr. Cohen patiently explains details so I could make sound decisions on my treatment plan. He is honest about what needs to be done vs want to be done without cutting corners. Unlike other dentists I've met in the past, he doesn't pressure. He just explains the situation logically one way or another and it is ultimately my choice to make which I appreciate more than anything else. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Cohen is fantastic. His office is always clean. Staff are very personable and caring. He is always transparent about costs and gives great recommendations. I'm very appreciative that he knows exactly what my insurance will or won't cover. And he accepts UFT insurance given to teachers! I've been coming here for about a year and no longer dread coming to the dentist. Thank you!

Fixed a chip on my front tooth the same day of my appointment! It eventually chipped months later (I wasn't careful) but by then, I had already moved out of NYC and I was forced to go to other dentists to get them fixed, but none lasted as long as Dr. Cohen's!
