Dr. Meredith Papadea is a native South Carolinian who grew up in Greenville. She graduated from Davidson College in Davidson, N.C. with a BS in Biology. After college, Dr. Meredith attended dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina. She was awarded an outstanding leadership and academic excellence award by the American Association of Women Dentists. She completed her Pediatric Dental Residency at MUSC serving as co-chief resident her second year. Dr. Papadea is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist.
Dr. Meredith moved to Murrells Inlet in 2004 to join her husband, Nick (also a dentist). She opened Pawleys Island Pediatric Dentistry in the fall of 2004 and has been caring for the children of the Lowcountry ever since.

All of the staff did their best to make my daughter feel comfortable even when she was screaming and crying while getting her cavity filled. I really appreciated how caring the staff was and how they were able to remain calm and get her settled down.

My daughter was nervous about going to the dentist. When we entered the building, she noticed the room of Books and was immediately at ease because we frequently read at home, and she saw some new books. That made a difference to me as a parent because she found something she connected to. Needless to say, she got the All-Star patient award for the day being a 2yr old that sat for xrays , lol. Wonderful staff and very competent.

Holly's experience with Pawleys Island Pediatric Denistry is the same everytime we go,she does awesome and they are awesome.We had an appt this morning at 9:00 and for Holly normally having anxiety,she had no problem going in the back without me.That really says alot about the people in the office,Holly is very comfortable with them all.I really appreciate the love they show her.Thanks to you all

Great space every time you come in the door they greet you with good morning or either good afternoon. Been coming here since my son was 2 years old once he had teeth and I we as a family always felt welcome. Thanks to Pawleys Island Pediatrician Dentist!

Dr. Meredith and Porter take such good care of my son, Logan. Logan is 27 and physically disabled. He is been their patient for many years. He is no longer scared of the dentist- in fact, he now looks forward to his trips to this office. I highly recommend this office.

Porter has been my girl's hygienist pretty much the whole time they've had teeth lol Lauryn is now 18 and she has made it clear that she "only wants Porter to clean her teeth" so when I say she's not happy about having to leave the practice it's an understatement! We love everything about this office! And obviously especially Porter

Wonderful dentist office!!My daughter has always had anxiety and the nurses are awesome.Dr Papadea is the only dentist my daughter has ever seen,she is so wonderful with her.They definitely get 5 stars with us.

Everyone there is great and extremely friendly. They make the kids feel very comfortable. Porter, the hygienist is so sweet and patient. I highly recommend this office.
