Dr. Harris attended the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He went on to complete his post-graduate work in orthodontics at the University of Texas Dental Branch, and in 1984 opened his practice in Deer Park, Texas.
Dr. Harris is a Life Member and an Honorable Order of Good Fellow in the Texas Dental Association. He holds a Life Active Membership of the American Association of Orthodontists and is a member of the Greater Houston Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, and the World Federation of Orthodontists.
Dr. Sean Pawelek understands that orthodontic treatmentis a life-changing experience. His passion is to give you the smile you deserve while fostering a connectionand building a relationshipthat will make you feel like family.
Dr. Pawelek completed the rigorous 4 year certification process to be come a licensed dentist. Following dental school, he spent an additional2.5years committing himselfsolely to the specialty of Orthodontics &Dentofacial Orthopedics. He graduated from his residency and successfully challenged the American Board of Orthodontics to become a board certified orthodontist, a distinction only 1 in 4 orthodontists hold. He continues to placean emphasis and commitment to continue to learn and excel through continuing education courses in order to provide lifelong, quality patient care.
While in dental school in Houston, Dr. Pawelek was fortunate to meet his wife Stephanie, a native of Clear Lake City and a graduate of Clear Lake High School. They enjoy all things outdoors including skiing (on water and snow), hiking, working out, attending sporting events, andhunting. They also enjoy long walks with their golden-doodle, Theodore, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Pawelekis board certified, a benchmark that only one in four orthodontists achieve. He and Dr. Harris continueto grow with the innovative field of orthodontics so that the practice can offer the most up-to-date technology.

Their advanced education and training, years of experience, and dedication to providing individual care and ideal results, ensures every visit is efficient, comfortable, and has our patients smiling.

Dr Pawelek and his team came highly recommended from several of my friends. From our first visit, we've known that they were the right ones to take care of our children's orthodontic needs. Dr. Pawelek not only explained what they needed, but showed us WHY they needed it, in detail. My daughter is very shy and anxious, but he makes her feel very comfortable!

Maria is Always able to give a quick response to questions and prompt at attending when an appointment has been made. Silvia and Maria are always making sure when at chair to ask if all is going well they double check that the equipment is safely installed and ensure that no wires and or brackets are being a bother prior to leaving chair area. Dr is always making sure to take time when assessing his patients during adjustments of braces.

Maria was so helpful when my daughters wire broke! She helped us out and even recommended some products to help with making brushing and flossing easier for my daughter. I would definitely recommend them for all of your orthodontic needs!!!

Dr. Pawelek was great! He was very relatable to/with my son. He was very thorough when explaining the treatment that was needed and when presenting the options for treatment. We had previously seen another "Competing" Orthodontist that couldn't be bothered to even look at my son's mouth, let alone spend more than 3 minutes discussing our options. Dr. Pawelek took the time and did an extremely thorough assessment of my child and made sure we understood what should/could be done and why. He also made sure that he answered any questions that we had. The ladies in the office was very attentive and helpful as well. I will absolutely be recommending Dr. Pawelek to anyone that is looking for recommendations.

I'm an old patient of Dr. Harris and I got my braces taken off as a teenager about 12 years ago. A few days ago my bottom permanent retainer came unglued on one of my teeth, so I called the office for an appointment to go in and get a replacement retainer. I went back today to go pick my retainer up. I thought I was literally going to go up to the front desk, have the retainer handed to me and then walk right out, so I brought my three and one year old sons in with me. I felt so bad and embarrassed when they told me I needed to go to the back to sit and try it on and have it looked at by Dr. Pawelek. But the staff was so incredibly kind and gracious towards me and my sons. Thankfully it was still a very quick visit, but they couldn't have been nicer about the situation. And they were so sweet to my kids and talked to them the whole time we were there. I just left feeling very thankful that they treated us that way instead of making me feel any worse than I already did. I always had great experiences here as a teenager, and it seems like Dr. Pawelek took over and nothing changed. It was still a wonderful experience. Dr. Pawelek was so great at explaining my options and being gentle while taking my retainer off. I will definitely come back if anything else is ever needed.

Haley was amazing so professional and nice. I encountered a lot as I was in there for a consultation they took pics c rays etc. Everyone was so nice! Dr. Pawelek was very nice sat down and explained the X-rays pictures and the plan is.
