Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I had had the same Dentist in AZ, for 23 yrs. When we moved to Antelope, I had new dental insurance to me and no idea who would be good to go to. And so I chose Pavillion's Dental Group as they were in my network and fairly close to my home. I was very pleased with the Office and the Dentist and he was able to take care of what I needed done. He was very professional, gentle and he took his time and was detailed in his work and explained what he was doing and what to expect. I was very happy with the outcome 4 yrs later, the same issue occurred and I called Pavillion's Dental again. Had no trouble getting an appointment with the same Dentist and a convenient day and time. This time, I took the opportunity to talk with the Staff there. I found the Front Office Ladies very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable of my current insurance. . And the Back Office assistants were equally friendly, capable and verbally helpful in any questions I had. The young Dental Assistant that was with me from start to finish, was very good at her job and took her time with me and what was needed, without any indication of frustration with how much time it was taking. She just kept a friendly conversation going with me and she was just a doll !! And this time, Dr Weist examined and talked about the options for taking care of my issue., since it had occurred again. There was no pressure from him, as to what I should do as well as no pressure when I was given the breakdown of all the options and the costs of each one and what my insurance would cover and what I decided to do The whole Office Staff felt relaxed, like they got along and it was a good place to work. I felt very comfortable and listened to with them I'll be back, for sure........regular appointments and care

My wife came in some time ago for a checkup/cleaning and a filling. She's a nervous person and was pretty intimidated/scared(it was her first time here- not her last though!) The staff was super nice, she got treated same day. Her dentist and the dental assistant were really good at calming my wife's nerves and they did really great work. Overall very comfortable place, and seems to be a very wholesome, well run business. I'll have to start coming here myself!

I went to Pavilions shortly after moving here after a long period of neglecting check ups. Naturally, I was very nervous but once I sat down, I felt so comfortable. The dentist that worked on me was truly very compassionate and professional and made me feel much more at ease. The dental assistant was also amazing, she was very hands-on working with me and was very personable and answered all of my (many) questions and made me feel very taken care of. They were also able to get my cleaning, check up, AND fillings done all in the same office visit. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here very much and would definitely come again.

Had the worst experience ever. Debra has to be the most rude person ever. How can her yelling at me, and claiming she has no appointments without looking. Never have I been so disrespected by a person.

My mom had crowns done in this office and the dental assistant spent 2 hrs more or less fabricating the temporary crowns. I am a dental assistant my self and I know it should never take that long. The dental assistant told her "why don't you call your daughters and tell them to fix your teeth." That is no way to talk to your patients when they're anxious. She tried making excuses for her rude behavior by saying she's just exhausted, but that's a pathetic excuse. You get paid to do your job, and we're all going through something. The least you can do is be nice. My mom left that place crying and upset. The dental assistant is very rude and incompetent. She does not have any chairside manners and is clearly in need of more training. It's unfortunate to have people like her working in healthcare. She needs to be given a written and verbal memo for her unprofessional behavior. Thankfully, Dr. Nguyen has been a wonderful and exceptional provider to my mom.

The staff was exceedingly welcoming and made me feel 100% comfortable, Zachary was so incredibly helpful when it came to getting dental work done and in choosing which dental crown to get. I absolutely love this place and for the first time in my life, cannot wait until my next appointment.

I came for a regular dental cleaning. They literally spent less than 10 minutes cleaning my teeth and did a terrible job. I could still feel some plague left on my back teeth. The hygienist who came in didn't introduce herself nor speak to me until she was about to put polish on my teeth. Needless to say, I would never go back.

I can't say enough great things about this dental office staff and about Dr. Bryant Vest and his assistant. I had a tooth chip and they were able to fix it right away, my new crown fits perfectly and they were extremely patient and caring! What a wonderful place, will be back for all my dental needs! Thank you guys! Natasha Razamazova

Came in as an emergency. They had appointment available same day. Was seen quickly. The doctors here are very kind and gentle. I have had a broken jaw and they check in to see if I'm doing okay. Do appreciate this office a lot. Glad I've experienced the best care.

I went to Pavilions Dental Group off of Pleasant Grove after being delinquent in seeing a dentist for at least 2-3 years. I've never had any dental issues whatsoever, but on this particular visit, they informed me I needed a four-month deep-cleaning plan requiring multiple visits due to contracting gum disease. In addition, they wanted to remove my wisdom teeth (I'm in my mid-30's and never had any issues with them). When they initially presented me with the gum disease information packet, they estimated the entire process would cost around $1900. In the same breath, they offered me a 50% discount because it was something my insurance wouldn't cover. I asked if they were at least going to do a cleaning that day and they replied that I needed the deep cleaning plan rather than a traditional cleaning that day, so I'd have to pay the newly discounted price before receiving any cleanings. The entire ordeal struck me as odd, as if I were being sold a used car, only with more awkward salesmanship (if that were possible). It felt disingenuous enough that I declined and visited another dentist (Eureka Dental Group) for a second opinion. The dentist at Eureka took about 30 seconds to look at my teeth and conclude there 1) was no gum disease and 2) that I did not need my wisdom teeth removed and 3) that they could fit me in for a regular ad-hoc cleaning that day. Judging from what I've read from other commentators here, my experience at Pavilions Dental Group was not unique. I recommend you find another dental group that does not make money on commission.

Very, very happy with the care here. I was treated respectfully and wasn't left just sitting and waiting. I got back to my treatment area immediately, all my questions answered treatment needs met, and I was super happy with the dentist who gave me the root canal as well as his dental assistant. They were fast and super professional. I am very pleased.

I had an appointment for a basic cleaning scheduled a few days in advance. They called me to confirm and I received a couple texts including one on the day of the appointment. When I get to the office they said my appointment was canceled by the dentist who left a voicemail. I received no call or voicemail about the cancellation.
