Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

This is the second time that I have done my teeth cleaning with this office, and I have been dissatisfied with the results. It took 20 minutes, 5 minutes talking with the dentist and the other 12 or 15 minutes with the other person . She told me that I need 3 teeth cleaning per year but i have to pay the third one because my insursnce doesn't cover it, I clean my teeth 3 times per day and flossing too, if my teeth are very bad like they say, why my cleaning last just 12 or 15 minutes. The last year I paid for an extra visit. I have been with other dentist and her job was amazing and took the normal time to do it, I moved at this area that's why I had to find other dentist. I hope my next visit can be better

Stay away from the dentist Maria Wytko. I had a horrific experience with her that resulted in having to redo my dental work with Dr. Block. Walking into this place was the biggest mistake.

Highly recommend this place, everyone is really nice! I don't have insurance, needed a cleaning and they had a great rate for new patients. They have great technology, took xrays and I didn't have to bite down on those horrible old school cardboard pieces!! I wasn't pushed into any other services, all pricing is explained perfectly.

Love everything about this place. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable, and they have great high tech gear to take care of your teeth. I had a lot of work done and they were sure to make the entire experience comfortable. These guys are pros for sure.

Summary: I have yet to meet the dentist for whom I was referred. They changed my appt 3 times to finally tell me that he was not coming in on my final appt and that I would be seeing someone else for my routine exam. Given that I had already rearranged MY PATIENTS (yes, that is correct) and MY SCHEDULE 3 times, I decided to just proceed with his associate who was acceptable. While the front staff and hygienist apologized profusely, the associate dentist never apologized or even acknowledged my inconveniences. But the final straw was when an accident broke my front incisor in half on a SAT and I called the "emergency" contact. After 35 min on hold, I finally reached the call center person who paged the "dentist-on-call" for me. I have yet to hear from them for 2 days. They are now on my DO NOT RECOMMEND list and I will never return. CAVEAT EMPTOR.

Not the biggest fan of their service here. I feel like scheduling an appointment with them is impossible. This started for me in April 2020 when they cancelled my appt, which made sense due to Covid. They then wouldn't reschedule me until October 2020 - which I understood. I went in then and scheduled a follow up appointment six months later which I had to cancel due to having horrid morning sickness. I've tried twice to reschedule to find they only have availability 6-8 months out. I've finally decided to go to another dentist. I just can't believe they are THAT busy or maybe they are, but either way - super inconvenient. I obviously always try to make my appointments but life happens. If cancelling an appointment means having to wait a year for another appointment, then my business obviously isn't important to them and I'll take it elsewhere (which I have).

My family has been coming to Pavilion for years. I recently retired and had to get my own insurance and made sure it was the one they accepted because it was that important to us.

I asked around and did plenty of research to find a new dentist. I've heard great things about the Dr Block at this location and was very eager to create a new long term relationship but unfortunately the front office staff created such a uncomfortable and unnecessarily rude situation for me when I came to check in for my appointment- I felt I had no other option other to just walk out on the spot. Apparently, you use a tablet to fill out your medical history prior to your first appointment.. The tablet was broken so they printed off the two pieces of paper and had me fill it out by hand. No big deal, that's fine. I understand, things happen. Because the form was supposed to be filled out with drop down boxes on line, I was unable to answer the majority of the questions but I filled them in the best I could. I returned the paperwork to the front desk and waited. The front desk woman (who seemingly tends to speak very loudly in a somewhat condescending tone) shouted for me to come up to the desk to finish answering a few questions from the form. Instead of having me come into a private area or at the very least just quietly and softly asking me a few questions- the front desk woman started barking incredibly personal questions at me in front of a full waiting room of people. I became so unnerved and uncomfortable I had to leave. I am an incredibly private person and do not wish to have my medical history broadcasted into a room full of people I do not know.. if only there were laws that prohibited a medical facility or staff from discussing a patient's medical history with the general public? Oh.. that's right... It's called HIPAA.
