Dr. Paventy is passionate about orthodontics. He truly enjoys his job, working with his team, and most of all, spending time with his patients. Dr. Paventy's philosophy is to provide the absolute best orthodontic care in a positive environment. He enjoys the diversity that each patient brings to the practice, and he looks forward to helping his patients create spectacular smiles!
Dr. Paventy began his career as an orthodontist by completing a rigorous orthodontic education. He believes that a good education is essential for any orthodontist, and he takes great pride in his achievements as a student.
In order to maintain a high level of expertise, Dr. Paventy regularly participates in continuing education. In fact, he is so dedicated to being an orthodontist that he takes more than double the required amount of continuing education each year.
In 2009, Dr. Paventy was awarded the Charley Schultz award from the AAO for his research done while he was a resident. The award was given to the most outstanding clinical research done by a resident worldwide. He is now a Diplomat for the American Board of Orthodontics. This is an honor achieved by very few orthodontists in their lifetime. He is also a part of the Spear Study Club and has had his research published.
Dr. Brown feels blessed to be a part of such an incredible profession. Orthodontics allows him to work with people who value oral health and beauty. It is extremely satisfying to see the transformation in his patients health, appearance and confidence. It affords him the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and in many different stages in life. It is fun and exciting to see them grow and change. It is gratifying to see how enjoyable the experience can be for his patients and team.
Education plays a major role in an orthodontist's career. Dr. Brown's orthodontic education has given him a strong foundation in orthodontics, and provided him with the knowledge and training to become a highly qualified professional.
Dr. Brown enjoys participating in continuing education. The orthodontic profession is always evolving with new treatment options for patients and it is exciting to be involved in these advancements through continuing education. He is an active member of national and local orthodontic and dental societies, keeping him involved with other practitioners in the field. In addition to attending courses, he also volunteers at OHSU and LBCC dental education programs. He is committed to providing his patients with the best treatment options available.
Dr. Brown not only belongs to many orthodontic associations, but he has assumed many leadership roles as a way to continue his education. Dr. Brown feels that his high level of involvement with his colleagues and professional associations, results in networking opportunities and a sharing of ideas that further advances his orthodontic knowledge. The staff at Pavetry and Brown are amazing! Always so welcoming! My son has been very comfortable with this whole experience with getting braces. The Bear bucks are an additional plus to each visit!

Hands down the best orthodontist around! So far 3 of my kids have had orthodontic treatment at Paventy and Brown orthodontics and all 3 have beautiful smiles! The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

We love P&B (and Dr Hegge too!). Both my kids are in treatment and they've been treated amazingly! They're treatment pricing was very fair and transparent with lots of options on how to pay. They treat the patients with respect and as a mom I appreciate how they keep me informed too. Shout out especially to Josh who is always so patient when he answers my many calls and questions!!!!

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Brown and his staff in Lebanon and Albany. He is knowledgeable, respectful and caring. As a patient of a competitor orthodontics office, I chose to send my child to Dr. Brown instead of the office that I had been receiving therapy from. I definitely made the right decision. He and his staff have far exceeded my expectations. I wish I would have gone to him for my own orthodontic care!

Paventy and Brown Orthodontics from the first phone call to the first appointment for my daughter has been nothing but superb. They treat her so nice from check in and the exams and if you need some braces or orthodontist work I would highly recommend them :)
