Dr. Paventy is passionate about orthodontics. He truly enjoys his job, working with his team, and most of all, spending time with his patients. Dr. Paventy's philosophy is to provide the absolute best orthodontic care in a positive environment. He enjoys the diversity that each patient brings to the practice, and he looks forward to helping his patients create spectacular smiles!
Dr. Paventy began his career as an orthodontist by completing a rigorous orthodontic education. He believes that a good education is essential for any orthodontist, and he takes great pride in his achievements as a student.
In order to maintain a high level of expertise, Dr. Paventy regularly participates in continuing education. In fact, he is so dedicated to being an orthodontist that he takes more than double the required amount of continuing education each year.
In 2009, Dr. Paventy was awarded the Charley Schultz award from the AAO for his research done while he was a resident. The award was given to the most outstanding clinical research done by a resident worldwide. He is now a Diplomat for the American Board of Orthodontics. This is an honor achieved by very few orthodontists in their lifetime. He is also a part of the Spear Study Club and has had his research published.
Dr. Brown feels blessed to be a part of such an incredible profession. Orthodontics allows him to work with people who value oral health and beauty. It is extremely satisfying to see the transformation in his patients health, appearance and confidence. It affords him the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and in many different stages in life. It is fun and exciting to see them grow and change. It is gratifying to see how enjoyable the experience can be for his patients and team.
Education plays a major role in an orthodontist's career. Dr. Brown's orthodontic education has given him a strong foundation in orthodontics, and provided him with the knowledge and training to become a highly qualified professional.
Dr. Brown enjoys participating in continuing education. The orthodontic profession is always evolving with new treatment options for patients and it is exciting to be involved in these advancements through continuing education. He is an active member of national and local orthodontic and dental societies, keeping him involved with other practitioners in the field. In addition to attending courses, he also volunteers at OHSU and LBCC dental education programs. He is committed to providing his patients with the best treatment options available.
Dr. Brown not only belongs to many orthodontic associations, but he has assumed many leadership roles as a way to continue his education. Dr. Brown feels that his high level of involvement with his colleagues and professional associations, results in networking opportunities and a sharing of ideas that further advances his orthodontic knowledge. I was referred to Paventy and Brown by my dentist due to a bilateral Crossbite that is starting to cause some wear on my front teeth. With my kiddo out of braces, I decided to step up and have a consultation for myself. I met with Deb who was, hands down, AMAZING. She made me feel so comfortable from the minute she greeted me and was super easy to talk to. Deb was just, genuinely, so sweet and kind! It was very apparent she was a passionate professional who loved her work and was clearly very experienced. She handled all of my imaging and assisted during my consult with Dr. Brehove who examined the images and my teeth prior to giving me a very thorough explanation of treatment options and next steps. I was equally impressed with Dr. Brehove who was able to look at my mouth and explain, in detail, the different layers of treatment options in a clear manner. I really loved how patient they were with my questions and clarity of next steps. I was always really pleased with Paventy and Brown when my kiddo was receiving treatment and this experience really solidified my appreciation. If you want quality work and absolutely amazing customer service, Paventy and Brown is an exceptional choice.

Paventy Brown has been an amazing Orthodontist to me they take care of my teeth and have never messed up they always make sure that there patients leave with perfect teeth and they always are so efficient and friendly i definitely recommend going to Paventy Brown Orthodontist!

If you are anything like me, you are probably reading this because you are deeply considering braces. I interviewed three orthodontists before finding Dr. Brown and let me tell you he is HANDS DOWN the best one out there. He is knowledgeable, kind, and really listens to all your wants and needs. This is my second go at orthodontics and I am a middle aged adult now. This has been a great experience so far and makes my first experience seem like it was a nightmare. Dr. Brown and his staff is on another level, and I mean Amazing. His expertise has been very apparent during my interactions with Dr. Brown. My daughter is also one of his patients and enjoys her visits as well. I would recommend this office to everyone! Paventy and Brown has given me a reason to let my smile shine again.

My daughter has had her braces for just over a year and is supposed to get her braces taken off in 6 weeks. She wants them taken off before her dad and I get married. Erin at the SW Albany location was completely wonderful to talk to. She was extremely friendly and made it happen when we had other events planned that same week. Our experience was AWESOME! They got us in immediately for a consult! They make you feel very welcomed! The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful! Dr. Jenn and Summer did a very thorough and incredible job at explaining what was needed done for our kids! They made you feel like no question was a "dumb" one! We absolutely LOVE Paventy & Brown! The staff there is so warm and friendly. They are always willing to be flexible with scheduling, even trying to schedule both of my kids at the same time to make it easier on me! Every time I leave there I find myself saying, "They are SO nice!" They take time to walk you through every aspect of the treatments they are going to do and allow you to ask any questions, and they inform you of the cost of the ENTIRE treatment upfront so there are no surprises. They are very kid-centric. My kids LOVE to collect Bear Bucks and enter the monthly drawings for seriously cool prizes. I also love how involved they are within the community. I would HIGHLY recommend Paventy & Brown to anyone in Albany.

Warm fuzzy feelings are not generally associated with orthodontists (or maybe they are!) but our family really loves the staff and Dr. Brown! My son needed a quick appointment when a tray of his Invisalign braces broke. Josh, cheerfully got him into the office within one hour! We have had nothing but good things to say about all of the staff that we've interacted with over the years. I'm so thankful that my kids are well taken care of and that Dr. Brown always listens to any questions or concerns we may have.

We LOVE Dr. Brown and his entire staff! The very first day we walked in there for the initial consultation, I knew this was going to be the winner! The up front pricing is really nice and there are no surprises. They walked us through everything and explained all the different treatments for our daughters teeth. Alyssa was nervous about her treatment and all the different treatments she would need.They totally put her at ease and now she looks forward to going to her appointments. I would recommend Dr.Brown to any and everyone who needs orthodontics. He definitely is the BEST around and very kid-friendly
