Marcus A. Paulson, DDS MS and his wonderful staff understand how important a straight, beautiful smile is. Thats why he strives to give his patients the best possible smiles around! In our office, everyone is highly trained and experienced, which is just the beginning of what we have to offer. Our practices top priority is to provide you the highest quality orthodontic care in a friendly, comfortable environment. We utilize the latest technological advances in the industry, such as invisible ceramic braces and Invisalign, along with the latest in computer technology (digital imaging including iTero and iCat 3D Cone Beam Scanners and advanced computer graphics) to ensure that you receive the most effective care possible.
Dr. Paulson received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2005 and his Masters degree in Orthodontics and Orofacial Orthopedics from Loma Linda University. Dr. Paulson is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, California Association of Orthodontics, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Tri Country Dental Association. He is also is a Diplomat with the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Paulson spends time at his church, volunteering in the childrens ministry, going to Bible studies, and teaching throughout the community. He also occasionally teaches a course on 3D imaging to other orthodontists.
Dr. Paulson has two kids, a boy, and a girl, and enjoys going to Disneyland with his family. In his spare time, he enjoys computers, tennis, metal detecting, collecting coins, reading, hiking, and watching movies.
I believe in fair and ethical treatment for all of my patients. Because of my faith in God, I strive to serve patients with integrity, honesty, and to be the best of my abilities. Elizabeth and Dr. Paulson have been married for 21 years. She has a masters in business administration from University of Redlands and enjoys helping to manage the practice. They have two children and enjoy living in Redlands. Elizabeth loves to read and go shopping! She is a Disney fan and held an annual pass for over 20 years.
Amy has been in the field of dentistry since 1997. She has worked on both the clinical and the administrative side. From discussing your specific treatment plan to explaining your insurance and financial contract, Amy will get you started on your orthodontic journey. She has impeccable organization skills and truly understands the ins and outs of orthodontics.
Amy is married and has two children, she enjoys camping, going to the river, going to the beach and spending time with her sister and brother in law. Amy and her husband Shawn have a Harley that they love using to go on rides.
Jennie started her career in Orthodontics in 2003 and joined our team in January of 2018. She loves meeting and interacting with our new patients and watching their confidence grow as their smiles transform throughout treatment. Her goal is to make every patient feel comfortable and happy to be here.
When she isnt at work, you will find her with her family. Her husband Josh along with their three children enjoys camping, hiking, and going on new adventures. Their oldest son is currently serving in the military and is stationed in Japan.
Evy has been in the dental field since 1993 and has been an orthodontic assistant since 2003. She actually met Dr. Paulson during his residency at Loma Linda University. She is talkative and friendly and is wonderful at explaining the ins and outs of braces. Her smile and charisma light up our office.
Kim started her career in endodontics in 2001. In 2006 she dove into Orthodontics and found her niche. Kim is so patient with the little ones and has an art for explaining treatment and instructions to both patients and parents. She truly cares for each one of our patients and is a huge asset to us.
Terri has been in the dental field since 1990 and keeps our lab running smoothly so the assistants can provide great care for our patients. She has lived in the Banning/Beaumont area all of her life, Terri has four adult children, two grandchildren, and a wonderful husband. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and going on long walks. She is a proud cancer survivor and she is very active at her church Wildwood Calvary.
Sandy has been in the dental field for 15 years. She started with Pediatric dentistry and then moved over to orthodontia and has been doing that for the last 10 years. Sandy always makes our patients feel comfortable in the chair and enjoys seeing every one of them happy. Sandy spends her free time with her two children and her Husband.
Desiree has been working in the dental field since 2007. She loves to see smiles change and the confidence of others grow. In February of 2020 Desiree joined our team to take lead in our 3D Orthodontic digital lab with Dr. Paulson. She loves learning new things and staying active with her two children Chase and Sarai finding new adventures with their sweet dog Avery.

Amazing practice!! Helps others and is not in it for the money. This is the type of practice everyone should choose. So many just care about the money but with Paulson they truly care about their patients! Definitely recommend!

Great place, great service, great staff, but one down side is that they removed the chairs in the arcade which my son likes

My child has been receiving treatment here for 12 months. The results have been great! Dr. Paulson is knowledgeable, friendly and always takes the time to answer questions thoroughly. He seems to enjoy what he does and the office vibe is positive.

I am so impressed by the kindness and care Dr Paulson and his staff give to his patients and family. My son is 11 and struggles greatly with anxiety. He broke a wire in his mouth (he fidgets with things and cause the wire to break) and Dr Paulson met us after hours to remove it. He never scolded or lectured my already scared and upset boy, even with it being our second after hours visit. He immediately answered his emergency line and we were in his office 15 min later. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding, Dr Paulson!

I went to Paulson Orthodonics a while back, overall experience was great. But some of the technicians that help adjust and order braces would complain if you ask them to make more adjustments to your braces or order a specific type of them. One day I overheard them making fun of me in a room beside an office because I wanted the top and bottom set of braces to match and they were too lazy to order them. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars because Dr. Paulson is professional, the treatment was affordable and done well by him.

Paulson Ortho has been nothing short of amazing throughout our process with my daughter's braces thus far! They have been extremely friendly from day one, and always treat us so well. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate our needs and have even gone out of their way twice when we've needed emergency care for my daughter's bracket coming off loose. Dr. Paulson has come into the office to help us out on a Friday when they were not even open anymore. I couldn't be any more pleased with their service, my daughter looks forward to every visit with them!

This office is amazing. They spent so much time on small details to assure patients are comfortable and engaged in their orthodontic journey. I enjoyed the organization of my sons appointment, it allowed him to get treatment started the same day. Jennie was an absolute pleasure, she never made me feel rushed or pushed. Rather she explained the details of my son's treatment and my financial options, which allowed us to make a decision we feel good about! Dr. Paulson has to be the kindest man I have ever met! I loved how he was constantly present through the process, welcoming us and seeing us off. He was thorough in my sons exam, pointing out every detail of my sons angles class, edge to edge bite, cross bite, crowding, his gingival and dental health, facial profile. It made me feel like my sons treatment was individualized for him not just a set plan for money. Kim was efficient, she had his brackets on in no time. She was so patient with Alex ( he asks a lot of questions). She had no problem answering all of them and giving him thorough post bonding instructions. Overall, the atmosphere is wonderful and time is utilized well. Dr. Paulson and his staff are very knowledgeable, kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Thus far, definitely happy with our decision to embark on this orthopedic journey with the Paulson team!

Hello all, I took my 8 year old on 8/16/2021, for a consultation for braces.First, I gave them my insurance. I KNOW MY COVERAGE'S. Then the coordinator told me with out even checking the insurance information or coverage was (THAT WE HAD NO COVERAGE FOR ORTHODONTIST) she had only checked in the website. Even a person who had none to little experience on insurance knows that the coordinator need to call and verify the coverages. She didn't do that. We are dark people . So we felt that she didn't want to work with us. To shut down a person like that. Means, only one thing they don't want to work with you or your kind. So to prover her wrong I personally called my insurance and asked them about my coverage. I had my insurance lady on the phone and she said they are covered. And the coordinated from the orthodontist said is ok we will not do any work until next year. Ok, I said why you jumped and said that I had no coverage. Discouraging us from getting any work done from this place because we look different. The work that we just need it was simple I need it permanent retainer and my other son needed braces too. So no I don't encourage anyone to come and do any work at place. I am definitely not going to this place not because I look different but because the service was very Awful. Thanks god I didn't do any work with because of the service is awful the product is even worst. Trust is the key how can I trust a person who shut me down and lied to me in my face. I don't appreciate that good luck.

I had a very beautiful smile that would get many compliments before beginning treatment with Dr. Paulson. I had a noticeable flare on my upper teeth and some crowding on my lower teeth (which should have been a simple fix). However, after beginning treatment at Paulson Orthodontics, I would get comments from my close family and friends that instead of the flare being fixed, my teeth were starting to look even more flared! So I scheduled a meeting to discuss my concern, but instead of correcting the issue, Dr. Paulson insisted that he could not reverse what HE had done! It was my mistake to have paid all the money for the treatment before the treatment was complete. Because once all my money had been paid, there was an urgency from his team to be done with my treatment without correcting the issues I wanted him to reverse and correctly fix. And to top it off, he never fixed the flare I asked him specifically during the meeting to correct. But instead left me with a noticeable overbite, which saddens me the most. I've also stopped receiving compliments on my smile. Instead it's always like, "Why are your teeth flared like that, didn't you get braces to fix that?" His staff is friendly, the place is clean, and filled with the latest technology. But unfortunately, that does not make up for a lack of skill and commitment Dr. Paulson has for giving his customers what they want. I've already started looking into other orthodontists in hopes to retrieve and correct the smile that Dr. Paulson failed to deliver.

I was a patient of Paulson Orthodontics from 2010 - 2013 when it used to be Heinrich Paulson Orthodontics. All the ladies and both doctors were kind and caring. I also felt that the management must have taken care of the employees well as I learned that many of the employees work there for long time. They have some monthly contest and seasonal decorations, even the employees dress up on days like Halloween to enlighten my day. I referred one of my adult coworkers to this place and she loves them too. I highly recommend this place to anyone (kids to adults) looking for orthodontics requirements.

We were referred to Paulson Orthodontics a little over 3 years ago. Beautiful building. My children were younger so our introduction to a warm and professional staff was very welcoming. My daughter and husband loves and looks forward to each appointment. We definitely recommend this office!

Dr. Paulson is excellent. My husband went for a consult in his office, and we were so impressed with him and his entire staff. His office is beautiful and his staff is welcoming when you arrive. They performed a series of scans, X-rays, and took detailed photographs of my husbands teeth. Dr. Paulson went through each of the photos in detail and listed out all of our options in a clear manner. Before he ever spoke about ortho care, he pointed out some issues that came up on the X-rays that our dentist neglected to mention to us, and reached out to our dentist to see where he was in my husbands restorative treatment. We've never had such a positive experience with a dental professional, and cannot recommend him enough. We are excited to undergo care in his office with him and his amazing team.
