Dr. Paul Allen began his journey of dentistry by getting his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan Dental School. Now, he regularly participates in continuing education to stay on top of the latest technology and dental treatments. Dr. Allen runs his practice on the thought that every patient deserves the best. With continuing education, Dr. Allen ensures that all patients receive multiple treatment options with better results. He also stays on top of new techniques by being a member of several professional associations like the American Dental Association.
Dr. Allen believes he is truly blessed to live and work in such a wonderful community. He has enjoyed getting to know his patients and their families over the years. It has been his focus to make every patient feel at home when they come in for treatment and he couldnt have asked for a better career or community to work with.
Teresa graduated as a dental hygienist in 1986 and joined Dr. Allens team in 2004. She loves being a hygienist as much today as the day she started. She enjoys working with people and getting to know them. She especially enjoys working with children and teaching them how to take care of their teeth. One of the most rewarding parts of her job is connecting with patients and creating relationships that last a lifetime. When Teresa is not in the office, she loves spending time with her husband and son. She also enjoys reading, shopping, baking, walking, Zumba, and being with family and friends.
My name is Elena and I am a Registered Dental Assistant. I graduated from Delta College and have over 14 years of experience as a Dental Assistant. I am originally from Central Asia, Kyrgyzstan. I have a son who graduated from CMU and works for an engineering company in Dundee. I enjoy traveling, especially overseas and tropical places. I also enjoy outdoor activities, gardening, and spending time with my family and friends. I love working at Dr. Allens office because I have gotten to know so many people, including our wonderful patients and my awesome team of co-workers.

I have deep seated fears of dentist. Both the hygienist and Dr Allen were terrific and they use lots Of new tech which makes it a much easier experience

I was looking for a dentist for an emergency situation and I looked at the reviews and thought I would contact them. I'm so glad I did. The staff were great and helped me so much. I was so impressed and appreciated being seen that afternoon. Very friendly staff, helpful and nice, clean office. Dr. Allen was the best. Very kind and made me feel comfortable and helped me with my situation. I definitely will recommend him and look forward to future appointments.

Today's first visit was OUTSTANDING! My nerves have eased on getting this work completed. Office staff welcoming & friendly.

I hadn't been very good about maintaining my dental health and was nervous to start back up, I called to make an appointment right at the end of the day and no one answered so I figured they were closed already, but a minute later they called me back! I was shocked! I've been several times now and take my son there as well now and it's been that same level of excellent customer service and detailed care every visit!! They never made me feel bad about my situation just helped me get back on track and explained how to handle things in the future should I run into a similar situation again. I'd recommend this office to anyone, and actually I already have recommended them many times!

Paul Allen is discriminatory against people with Blue Cross Health Insurance. He will not accept new patients with Blue Cross because he is discriminatory. Someone who denies a patients access to service because of the health insurance they have, they should not be allowed to practice medicine. Very unprofessional and rude.

Don't cancel appointments with this office you will be charged $50 per broken appointment. Sad I have to leave this poor review. But it reflects how poorly the front end is running. I was charged $100 for 2 "broken appointments." The first one was for myself but I had called days prior cancelling my appointment because I knew I couldn't get time off of work. Second one was for my granddaughter's appointment, it was cancelled the same day for personal reasons I'm not going Into. I have been taking my children and grandchildren for 10 years plus to see Dr. Alan and never had a problem until now. The woman Kristen argued with me about the charges. Especially when I knew mine was cancelled way before the day of my appointment! She finally waived the fee for me and said I have to pay my granddaughters because it was cancelled the same day. I find it ridiculous and will not pay a fee like that for a cancellation. Never had a problem until new staff came in and not friendly at all like the previous girls were. Too bad taking my family of 10 somewhere else. Love Dr. Alan but I won't be bullied to pay fees for nonsense and attitude from his staff.
