As a student in undergraduate studies I always enjoyed the sciences and learning about how they work in relation to the world we live in. My studies and interactions with friends and family lead me into the practice of dentistry. My parents, who are both dental technicians, and my roommate all had an influence in my decision to pursue dental health care.
It seemed a good fit. I enjoy working with my hands, learning and providing different procedures and helping people. Dentistry provides me with an abundance of all these from direct patient care to running and operating a small business. The challenges and rewards are endless.
In 1994 I entered into The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry program. Four quick years later I found myself at Miami Valley Hospital, in Dayton Ohio, for their General Practice Residency. This full time one year post graduate position provided me with additional continuing education and experience. Being exposed to and treating patients of trauma injuries, advanced dental disease, severe orofacial infections and complex medical health histories has given me the confidence and knowledge to be able to provide services in our office that arent offered in most dental practices.
One of the premier training experiences was to gain knowledge and training in IV Sedation treatment. This additional training covered all aspects of sedation therapy including IV Sedation, Oral Sedation and Nitrous Oxide sedation. The year long program overlapped and incorporated dental treatment with sedation training. It allowed me to learn the best techniques in both sedation therapy and dental treatment. This included additional training covering tooth removal, including wisdom teeth, surgical extraction of teeth and simple extractions.
Full mouth tooth removal, reshaping and contouring of the jaw bone to facilitate immediate denture placement, root canal therapy and gum surgery were also part of our year long training. Having experienced dentists oversee, guide and direct my training was invaluable.
Since my graduation from dental school in 1997 and my general practice residency that included over 3,000 hours of continuing dental education I have continued to learn and perfect my techniques. Over the years, additional experiences and continuing education have enabled me to create the office that I am presently in.
Being able to help people maintain and protect their teeth in a comfortable and caring environment is one step to being able to erase the negative feeling and perception about going to the dentist. Modern dentistry and sedation dentistry help us to get our patients healthier and happier about their dental needs and dental experience.
Its great being able to hear patients say things like,that was easy,that didnt hurt at all,your shot was the best Ive ever had, it didnt hurt a bit, orI dont remember anything from our last visit and my teeth have never felt better.These remarks and seeing the results makes all the effort and time put into everything extremely rewarding.

Dr. Sekulic and staff were great.They got me in the they got me in the same day for my tooth pain and extracted my problem too with ease and very very very little pain. The doctor had great bedside manner and explained everything very well and really made sure that I was comfortable even though I had some anxiety. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone ***Update- I work in healthcare legal compliance and have to travel at a minutes notice and the staff knows this. Recently I had a needed appointment scheduled and I was told the evening before I had to go out of state and fly out next morning. I was rushing to get ready and packed but made sure to first cal and leave a message canceling the appointment. A month goes by and I received a bill for $50 for the canceled appointment beyond my control. I am revoking my recommendation and telling patients to go elsewhere this was beyond my control and if a practice has no compassion then I don't want to be a patient there

My daughter and I have been coming here for a little over two years and we love it! The staff and Dr. Sekuluc are professional, thorough, and very personable. They do great with my five-year-old daughter which is a huge plus!

Best dentist I've had since my my pediatric dentist which is saying something since I have a serious fear of dentistry work and it has been a real struggle to find a place where the staff actually cares about keeping patients comfortable and doing fillings that will last, definitely recommend

I highly highly recommend this dentist and office. I needed a tooth pulled desperately, I had an infection that was pressing on an nerve and was into my bone. Multiple dentists had turned me away. The closest oral surgeon did not have an appt for literally 2 months +. I reached out through a glowing recommendation from my mother who had a previous amazing experience. A scheduled appt was made for about two weeks later and I got a call the next day to have the tooth removed the next morning. Dr. Sekulic was amazing at his job and I was in and out in under an hour, my tooth healed easy and the pain was immediately gone. The self-pay prices are manageable and the front desk workers are more than helpful and really tried hard to make sure I was taken care of. I am debating draining my HSA card to just keep going.

I've been very nervous about getting my wisdom teeth out but Dr. Sekulic and his staff made it extremely extremely comfortable for me. I'm new to the area so I'm so glad I was reffed to them and I will recommend them a million times over. I can't thank this office enough for their compassion, helpfulness and making it an over all pleasant experience! Keep being awesome :)

Had an appointment today at Dr Sekulic's to have a tooth looked at hoping I could get a temporary filling in the back of my tooth. I took off work early got there early and they left me in a room for 45 minutes (appointment was at 3pm) got seen at 3:30pm all for Dr Sekulic to come in for maybe 2 minutes to tell me he couldn't do anything and I would have to call and schedule to have a root canal done which I get it I'm not so upset about that but what really upset me was that I feel like he shamed me for not taking care of my teeth better and was just kind of rude. All in all I felt that was uncalled for and he could have been a more professional. Needless to say I won't be back. Wish things would have went different because I heard nothing but good things about Dr Sekulic. Nothing was good about today's visit for me though.

Dr Sekulic is by far the best dentist I have ever visited , Myself like many others deal with some anxiety and he was amazing in handling that . I had to have a crown procedure done this morning and he explained everyone of my concerns with detail and was very caring . The whole procedure was done in about an hour with no pain at all , didn't even feel the shot which is awesome . I feel blessed that I found Dr. Sekulic . If you are in need of a dentist give them a call . Everyone in office is amazing . Thank you Dr Sekulic .
