Dr. Paul Satchell received his DDS degree (Doctor of Dental Surgery) from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1999. He also completed his advanced training in root canal treatment, including an MS degree (Master of Science in Oral Biology) and a certificate in Endodontics at Baylor. Baylor College of Dentistry is now called The Texas A&M University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Satchell is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society, and The American Association of Endodontists. He is a past president of the Houston Academy of Endodontists and a proud member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) the honor society of dentistry.
Before dentistry, he earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree with High Honors from the University of Texas at Austin, and completed a 15 month internship at the Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Paris France.

I have been treated by Dr. Satchell in many occasions. At first I was pleasantly surprised hence why I returned. Staff was friendly, they put me at ease although I was very nervous, also Dr. Satchell seemed competent and trustworthy. I just found out from my regular dentist that the work he performed was flawed and that I needed to return to him to correct it. When I called the office to make an appointment I made sure to let them know this. Tell me why they just called to tell me that it would be a $69 copay after insurance just for the "initial consultation" and then another $175 for the work?! I should not have to pay anything when you were the one that didn't do a good job! Beware of this office people! They want to overcharge do they can keep their office looking spiffy. It is not about patient care here. SMH

If you need a root canal GO HERE. Dr. Satchell and his staff are quick and efficient. I may have been shaking like a chihuahua during my root canal procedure but that was solely due to nerves. I felt NO pain at ALL during the procedure. This was my first root canal and these guys did a FANTASTIC job! Staff is friendly too!! Can't recommend them enough!

Best place to go, hands down. Clean building, good parking. The two female assistants who help me are always so sweet and chat with me, makes you feel cared for and prioritized. And Dr Satchell is AMAZING, he has such a calm energy about him and the steadiest hands with a very light handed gentle touch. 12/10. As some one who DESPISES dental work, this place never disappoints and always leaves me feeling happy and reassured that I've gotten the best treatment. (Also shout out to the wonderful women at the front desk who are always on point, patient, and informative)

My primary dentist told me that I needed a retreatment of an old root canal and recommended several endodontists. I chose Dr Satchell based on his Google reviews and wow, talk about making the right choice. The appointment was scheduled a few weeks out and they worked with my insurance so that the out of pocket was a very reasonable amount. At the time of appointment, the staff was efficient in taking xrays and whatnot. Didn't wait long for Dr Satchell to come in and explain things. It was a very thorough explanation and he answered the questions that I had. Nothing was rushed, which I appreciated. I gave him the green light for the treatment and he got right to work. It should be noted that I was dreading this procedure, but my dread was for nothing. From the numbing injections to the drilling (drilling through a crown is quite the ordeal), to everything else... no pain, no discomfort! I swear, he has the hands of an angel. Even later when the nonvaccine wore off, no discomfort at all. I'm sure it might have been a little easier since it was a retreatment, but honestly, if I ever need another full root canal, I would apologize to my regular dentist and come here instead. If you dread the dentist, needles, the noise, etc... I can't stress enough how awesome this experience was. A+ & solid gold.

Dr. Satchell and his staff were just amazing! I needed emergency oral surgery and they worked to get me in the same day, even staying after their office had closed to do the procedure. Dr. Satchell took the time to explain everything to me in detail and he was very knowledgeable in what he was doing. I highly recommend him!

Omg!!!! I love Dr. Paul Satchell!!!!! He was beyond amazing! He was very kind, compassionate and courteous. He explained everything thoroughly, and even showed me the Xrays during his explanation. He made me feel really comfortable and at ease. Im going to petition to get Google to add a 6th star because Dr. Satchell is the G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time)

Wow! That sums it up. Wow! I was very impressed. The staff is friendly and highly trained. The whole process went smoothly. The DR. Satchell has a calming presence and gives you a feeling that he is more than competent. You can tell he knows what he is doing and has performed it thousands of times. I hope to never need their services again, but if I do I am returning to this excellent practice. I recommend Dr. Satchell to everyone but my enemies. Bravo Zulu

I had a root canal done recently and it was a great experience .If I need another root canal done I will guarantee that I will go back to Dr. Satchell. He is a very caring person,he cares about his patients ,if you have pain he will give you more deadening.Once Dr. Satchell gave me the deadening ,I didn't feel anything . Dr . Satchell is a very nice person as well as a GREAT ENDODONTIST!! Everyone in his clinic are very nice and caring.If I could I'd give them all a rating of100 percent. If anyone asks me where they can find a good endodontist I will highly recommend Dr. Satchell . He explains everything that he is going to be doing and if you have any questions he will answer them before he starts. He puts you at ease,, HE and his staff are THE BEST !!!!

Dr. Satchell did a re-entry on a root canal originally performed by my local dentist to locate a possible third canal that was not outwardly detectable/visible. He did an incredible job. Dr. Satchell located and extracted the third canal and I no longer experience any of the sensitivity/pressure that I felt on that tooth. In addition, he took the time to explain what he was doing and continued to ask about my comfort level. I would highly recommend him. Thank you so much Dr. Satchell!
