Id like to introduce myself. Im Dr. Paul Herrin. I grew up in North County and graduated from Hazelwood High School in 1974. Four years later I graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science Degree. In 1983, I received my doctorate degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry.
I began practicing with Dr. John Reilly and acquired the practice upon his retirement in 1987. I have practiced in the same location for over 36 years. I have continued to broaden my expertise to include cosmetic restoration and to perfect my excellence in dentistry. I am a member of the American Dental Association and the L.D. Pankey Alumni Association. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, skiing, biking and growing orchids.
I have been married for 39 years to my high school sweetheart, Cindy. She is a retired nurse and is currently working for Berry Hill Golf Course in Bridgeton. We have two boys, Tom and Dan. Tom is currently completing a radiology residency at St. Louis University Hospital. He married Britt in the summer of 2015. Britt has started a three-year family medicine residency at Des Peres Hospital. Dan completed a two-year masters program at SLU in athletic training in June 2014. He did a two-year internship at Mizzou with the football team. Dan has his dream job! He is currently head trainer at the high school he graduated from, De Smet High School. Dan got married to Molly in the summer of 2019. Molly is a Pediatric Nurse at Cardinal Glennon Hospital. Tom and Dan graduated from Mizzou.

I was referred to Dr. Herrin by my friend. From the time me and my children walked in, the service was wonderful. The office is very quaint and clean, the office staff was friendly and the dental hygienist was so patient and kind with my babies. Dr. Herrin was knowledgeable and explained everything I needed to know. I am so glad we have found our dental home!

Dr. Herrin and his team are fantastic. They carefully review my records, are very attentive and always explain procedures clearly to me. I love that Dr. Herrin checks on his patients after procedures and is available if there is an issue.

Amazing. I am afraid of dentists. They were all professional and courteous. Diane and Connie made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Herrin answered all my questions and made me comfortable. I highly recommend this dental office. See you soon and thank you so much.

This was my first experience here. I have a severe phobia of the dentist, and Dr. Herrin and his staff were so welcoming and gentle and put my mind at ease and made it a very pleasant experience! I was so happy! I had no fear at all! Very knowledgeable and welcoming and respected my pronouns and preferred name as well! Lighthearted jokes to put my mind at ease and reassurance about my issues with having troubles with being numbed up! Thank you so much for being so kind, patient and understanding! HIGHLY recommend!!

I wanted to take my daughter here for her first dental visit after seeing all of these great reviews. Connie, who I spoke to on the phone was very rude! All I asked for were recommendations and her response was: "Why are you taking your chid to the dentist in the first place?" "We don't see her age at all", (sarcastically) "Well that was a smart answer". Everything in her tone was rude! I just had to hang up. Please find a new receptionist!!!

The gold of North County dentist. Recently, I had a dental emergency situation. I called the office and explained my issue. Connie jumped into action and took the steps to get me an appointment that same day. If you ever experienced tooth aches you know time is of the essence. When I arrived, everyone was so friendly. Diane took a x-ray and prepared me for the dentist, she also graciously allowed me to hold her hand, while the dentist addressed my concerns. Finally the dentist explained my issues and shared his concerns, all while providing a choice as to how I would care to handle it. Thank you guys for the beautiful experience. I would highly recommend this dentist office!

Did you spend the morning with your dentist? I did, and it was wonderful - AS ALWAYS! There are a few "tried and true" Florissant establishments and the house/dentist office on Derhake is one of them. The staff at Dr. Herrin's office is exceptional. First impressions are gold and Connie shines bright as the person who will talk appointments, insurance and money with you. Erica takes care of me and she is funny, serious when needed and an honest resource. It's a great feeling to know that everyone is there to help and/or to remember you - Diane and Katrina are ready with a genuine smile and a "how are you?" Last but not least is Dr. Herrin, I have such high praise for him and the service he provides. Hardly a month goes by without me telling someone about my experience with Dr. Herrin, et al, - and it's gratifying when a person tells me that he is there dentist too and our smiles just widen because we know what a find Dr. Herrin is. You will have peace of mind in your mouth health - from a twice a year cleaning all the way to the big procedures. I am confident in my choice with Dr. Herrin - give Connie a call for an appointment and you will be as happy as I am.

Had to get some cavities filled and became a little nauseous during and Katrina and Dr. Herrin were extremely nice and attentive about it. They helped me feel better, the work was done quickly and I feel very comfortable coming back here. Also Connie is amazing!

I have been a patient of Dr. Herrin's for over 20 years. Dr. Herrin has called me in the evening after a procedure to check on me. If I have issues outside of office hours, I have left a message. And Dr. Herrin gets right back to me. He has even offered to meet me at his office. His chair side manner is great. Dr. Herrin and everyone in his office makes sure you are comfortable, no pain, and works to reduce any anxiety you might have. I would recommend Dr. Herrin to anyone!
