Hello, Im Dr. Paul Sandvick. If you 're a patient of mine already, you know I 'd ask you to call me Paul. I am originally from Superior, WI. After completing my undergraduate work at UW-Superior, I moved to Milwaukee when attending dental school at Marquette University, graduating in 1981.Although Superior will always be home,I have practiced in the North Shore of Milwaukee for 37 years and it 's truly become my 'other' home. I am a member of many professional organizations and have taught at Marquette University Dental School for several years. I truly love what I do.
WhatI am most proud of are my two children, Carolyn and Peter, both graduates of Whitefish Bay High School and UW-Madison. Carolyn is married and her and her husband, Matt, are expecting in October. Peter is in law school at Marquette. I cannot think of a better reason to get out of bed every morning than these two. They mean the world to me! Our family also includes a very furry,lovable pup- a Goldendoodle labradoodle mix named Zoe. If I'm not at work or playing basketball with my friends on the weekends, you'll most likely find me at the dog park or washing cars at the house with Zoe.
I started working with Dr. Sandvick in 2017 and have enjoyed working together with all of our staff to deliver quality dentistry for our patients. Paul has been my mentor in dentistry and in life and I follow a similar conservative philosophy withstrong roots in prevention and preservation of teeth.Dentistry is a rapidly evolving field, and I strive to incorporate the latest tools and knowledge, while staying true to this long standing philosophy.
For those of you who dont know me, I am originally from the distant southern state of Iowa but moved to Milwaukee for my undergraduate education at Marquette University. I stayed at Marquette for dental school and have been living on the East Side of Milwaukee ever since. I love living in Milwaukee and experiencing this citys unique and fun-loving culture.
I developed an interest for dentistry at the young age of five. Identifying a fascination for teeth and passion for helping others helped me set out on a journey to become a dentist. After receiving degrees in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Colorado, I moved to Wisconsin to attend Marquette University School of Dentistry and received my Doctor of Dental Surgery.
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a dentist is the relationship I build with each patient. My strong desire to listen to each patient and earn and keep their trust is a top priority. I take the time to explain treatment options and procedures, answer all questions, and alleviate concern. Patient comfort and patient satisfaction are important aspects of my daily practice of dentistry while providing patients with the highest level of clinical excellence.
I frequently attend continuing education courses and dental meetings at the state and local level in order to stay current with the ever changing dental techniques and topics. This allows me to continually focus on providing the most current treatment options and techniques when seeing patients for routine comprehensive care and cosmetic dentistry.
Aside from dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. Hiking, biking, skiing, attending summer festivals, Marquette Basketball games, and trying new restaurants are some of my favorite things!
I have worked to hone my skills to provide restorative and implant dentistry to my patients over a 30+ year career. Along the way, I have accumulated many hours of continuing education in my top field of interest--implant dentistry. In addition to private practice, I have volunteered my services for the past 20 years at the Madre Angela and Elizabeth Ann Seton Dental Clinics on Milwaukee's south side.
My wife, Gina, is a teacher at St. Robert School in Shorewood. We have four boys--all grown! When not in the office, I will either be reading a book, a newspaper or just about anything. And when Im not reading I love to ride my bicycle or play hoops with my buddies two nights per week--achy, arthritic knees aside!
The entire staff at Dr. Sandvick's office is amazing. They are extremely accommodating and helpful, and always remember names and personal details. The whole office atmosphere is warm, welcoming and extremely comfortable.

Dr. Sandvick saved my life! He got me into a mouth guard for my sleep apnea when a C-pap just wasn't working for me. The dental work is top notch as well. They are very understanding when people are uneasy about the dentist and make you as comfortable as possible and stop anytime you need them to. Wish I had a dentist like this when I was growing up!

Very gracious and accommodating. It was a last minute Ortho emergency. My daughter's braces wire was protruding and the staff and doctor fixed her up kindly and promptly. Thank you to the entire team.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Paul Sandvick. He took the time to take on my sister's complicated case and explain what your options are and what he would suggest and why. He is easy to talk to, conservative & compassionate in his approach. Dr. Sandvick is extremely honest and thorough. Not only does he do an excellent job, but he ONLY does dental work which is needed. We wish we would have found him sooner... BEST DENTIST EVER!! Highly recommend him!

I came to Paul Sandvick after being told my only option for a stain on my front tooth would be to get veneers. I booked a consult to get a second opinion, and Dr. Mason was able to buff out the stain in less than 10 minutes, right then and there - no expensive veneers required! I was also so pleased with the service and friendliness of the staff. Would of course come to Paul Sandvick again for any future needs!

Dr. Sandvick is very conservative in his practice ! His office is extremely well run and very clean ! The office staff is very polite ! I have referred many friends and relatives to Dr. Sandvick and no one has been unhappy !!

While my family has all been extremely happy patients of Dr Sandvick for over a decade I would be remiss if I didn't share an extremely positive experience I had with Dr Mason (Yes!! Happy at the dentist!!! Numb face and all!!). I am 3/4 of the way through a procedure Dr. Aaron Mason has been handling- He and Danielle are fantastic. By the way, Danielle is a musical wiz, and Aaron's low key sense of humor has prompted a few belly laughs mid procedure.. Bottom line is the team are all pros.. Barb, Desi, Paul, Aaron, Danielle and everyone else- a heartfelt "Thank you" for all you do. It's a pleasure to be a patient!

A super sanitary dental clinic with an all-around amazing staff! I have only had positive experiences here. Today I was seen by Dr. Nicole Sawatzke and Rebecca for a crown fitting. Both of my providers were warm and welcoming. They thoroughly explained the process every step of the way and checked in to ensure I was comfortable. During previous (routine cleaning) appointments, I had seen Dr. Mason and Desi- both providers were pleasant and informative (sorry for the late review). The reception staff has always been kind; they really work their hardest to squeeze you in when possible.

First-class, professional, quality service from start to finish! My dentist of 41 years recently retired. Based on a referral, I decided to see Dr. Mason. I have seen him three times. This last time for major bridge work. The work Dr. Mason and his assistant Danielle did was spectacular! They made me comfortable and relaxed. The experience was pain free, and the quality of the work is excellent! I give my highest recommendation to Dr. Mason and to Paul M Sandvick, DDS & Associates. When I arrived, I was greeted in the parking lot by a gentleman, who escorted me in. Once inside the building, he performed standard COVID screening test, then he led me back to Dr. Mason's dental chair. When Dr. Mason had completed his work, Danielle took me to the front desk. At that point, my follow-up care was explained to me. Everything about the process was professional and organized -- it went smoothly. I am very happy and satisfied!

I absolutely HATE going to the dentist. I avoid it at all costs but have had a recent issue i couldn't ignore. My boss recommended this office and they were WONDERFUL. Very empathetic to my dentist-phobia. Extremely friendly and comforting staff. .

Dr Paul Sandvick's practice is different than any other dentist that I've frequented. They take the time to explain everything and they genuinely care about their patients. It's a bit of a throwback type organization where the patient comes first. I cannot recommend this dental practice more highly!
