Over the past three decades, dental implants have completely changed the way dentists and surgeons collaborate to replace missing teeth. Patients no longer have to choose between wearing a removable appliance and cutting down other teeth to support a bridge.

  • Since dental implants are designed to last a lifetime, preserve bone and do not compromise the long-term health of adjacent teeth, dental implant treatment is the most cost-effective option long-term.
  • Maintain Facial Structures. When a tooth is lost or removed, the bone that previously surrounded the tooth root resorbs, or melts away. By replacing the root of your tooth with a dental implant, your jawbone and smile retain their shape. If you are missing all of your teeth, implant-supported replacement teeth will preserve the integrity of your facial structures and prevent the shrinkage of your jaws and the appearance of a collapsed face.

Preserve Surrounding Teeth. Tooth-supported bridges and partial dentures compromise the long-term health of your teeth. With dental implants, it is not necessary to cut the adjacent teeth down to place a bridge, or hook a partial denture onto natural teeth, which can cause them to loosen and eventually be removed.

Restore Natural Appearance. Dental implants were developed to replicate the appearance of your natural teeth and preserve your bone and gum tissue to maintain the natural appearance of your smile. By placing the dental implants in the precise position, your surgeon will provide the ideal foundation for your dentist to create beautiful replacement teeth that closely match your natural teeth.

Designed to Last a Lifetime. Because dental implants are designed to last a lifetime, they have a better long-term success rate than any other tooth replacement option. Documented clinical research demonstrates that dental implants have a success rate of over 95%, which is significantly higher that tooth-supported bridges and partial or full dentures.

Our practice utilizes leading edge technology, such as 3D imaging to obtain the most accurate, detailed view of your teeth, bone and facial structures for the most precise diagnosis and treatment planning available.

If the tooth to be replaced has not yet been removed, the first procedure is surgical removal of the tooth. If your surgeon determined that you do not have sufficient bone for a dental implant, you will need a bone graft in the site where the implant will be placed. In some cases, implant placement can be completed immediately following tooth removal and bone grafting. In other cases, the implant will be placed several weeks after the surgical removal of the tooth and placement of a bone graft.

Implant Placement. Your surgeon will utilize a gentle technique to prepare the surgical site and place the dental implant in the proper position. A small cover screw will then be attached to the implant. A temporary replacement tooth (or set of teeth) will usually be inserted following surgery. For a period of several weeks to a few months following surgery, the implant will be left undisturbed to allow the bone to remodel around the implant.

Abutment Attachment. Once the bone has fused to the implant and formed a strong biological bond, you will return to the surgeons office to have a small connector post, called an abutment attached to each implant. The abutments are used to attach replacement teeth to the implants. Your surgeon and dentist will determine the best abutment to use for your case. This is often a custom abutment, which enables your dentist to design the ideal shape and of your replacement teeth for the most natural appearance of your smile.

Replacement Teeth. The final phase of treatment is designing and fabricating the final replacement crown, bridge, or set of teeth. Your dentist will take impressions of your teeth and the abutments and send them to a dental laboratory or technician, to fabricate the replacement teeth. Your dentist will also determine the best shade and shape to match your natural teeth. Once the lab technician has fabricated your new teeth, your dentist will attach them to the abutments, which is usually the final step in the treatment process.

Dr. Taylor is the best. I like most people dread going to the Dentist. Needed a bone graft. It was a breeze and very little pain after. No pain meds needed by day 2. Will recommend to anyone I know who needs any oral surgery!

Dr. Taylor removed all 4 of my daughter's impacted wisdom teeth. Her recovery was rough, but manageable. Dr. Taylor's assistants were very kind to her. This practice charges up front for bone grafts that may or not be necessary. Then the insurance company doesn't cover the bone grafts because the practice doesn't perform perio charting...which would prove the necessity of the bone grafts. Total additional cost out of pocket = $1420.00. Be aware.

Everyone was friendly and professional. I felt very a ease ( which is saying a lot... I mean it's oral surgery!) and safe. I'll be going back to finish with the work that needs to be done. I know I'll be in good hands.

Best dental experience ever! The staff is extremely professional and empathetic. I had a tooth pulled and implant placed with no pain. They spent a lot of time before and during the procedure explaining what was going to happen and then what was happening. I highly recommend this team.

Dr. Korb put in an implant in that I had previously done by another professional and it failed after 2 months. Dr. Korb did an excellent job and it was a piece of cake!!

Ok so first thing's first: I get super anxious about feeling pain and hate needles. Not a great mash-up between that and dentistry, especially oral surgery. Dr. Taylor broke down my wisdom tooth extraction but by bit, gave me pros and cons. What sold me on doing this with him was the fact that when I told him I had a fear of needles, he immediately suggested IV sedation (after receiving laughing gas so I wouldn't be nervous about the needle). He listens to you and wants you to be comfortable. His staff was easy going and helpful all the way through. For those reluctant to get your teeth taken care of, 2 things: 1. A lot of the fear is in your head 2. This office will make sure you go in, get out, painfree and stress free. 10/10 would recommend!!

I got my wisdom teeth pulled plus one more (5 teeth total) yesterday and the entire process was smooth, staff was extremely polite and knowledgeable. I chose anesthesia for my surgery and I don't remember anything after sitting in the chair. I woke up in a wheelchair ready to go. The pain was not extremely excruciating. Now that the numbness has worn off, I rate my pain a 1/10. There's literally almost none, and I haven't taken ANY medication. That's the complete opposite of what I expected! THANK YOU Dr. Taylor, Ms. Jean for helping me get my finances and insurance together, Ms. Brenda for being awesome! I'm just extremely grateful for the process and the smooth healing process (so far). I highly recommend for oral surgery!

I recently had oral surgery with Dr Taylor, having eight implants installed, and Dr Taylor and his team were incredible. They made me feel at home during the procedure, I healed easily with no problems and Dr Taylor personally followed up with me following the procedure. Nobody likes having surgery but Dr Taylor and staff made a usually unpleasant experience as pleasant as possible. If you need oral surgery, this is where you want to have it done.

I had a great experience with Dr. Taylor and staff. Consultation and surgery went smoothly, and he even personally called me the next day to check in and see how I was doing. I would highly recommend their practice. Honest and expert execution all around. Quick, easy, and as painless as wisdom teeth removal can be.

I had a consultation appointment today for removal of my many teeth with Dr Taylor and the way he explained issue with my teeth was awesome.I am impressed by Dr Taylor but the overall other experiences was horrible I have to wait and wait for ever from start to finish , it took two hours just for consultation and a few X-rays. On top looks like the practice is not fair in terms of their collaboration with insurance firms.. they never informed me that I have to pay full consultation fee because they are not in network with any insurance company though they collected my insurance card in the beginning, later on in the end they said they charge full consultation and since they have no insurance companies in their network I have to pay full fee out of pocket though I had Ppo insurance plan and normally it cost me few bucks for consultation.. I got frustrated not because I have to pay but I lost trust in them because it shows that they might be hiding many things in future .. so this practice is NO to me because of mal practice in terms of not releasing full payment details. Please beware and get a clear idea beforehand if you choose to go there.

Dr. Taylor is FANTASTIC. He is thorough and really cares about you. I had to have an emergency extraction on a Saturday. He got me in same day and even called the following day (Sunday) to check how I was doing. I would highly recommend him.

Our experience was very timely. My daughter was extremely nervous and teary and they were very understanding, especially Dr. Taylor. He walked her through every step. He also called to check on her the next day, not his staff , but him. We were very pleased and will use him again for my younger child.

Very nice people who were all willing to help me with my wisdom teeth. They told me everything I would need to know, and any possible additional costs. Even with additional costs, it was still cheaper than other locations. I had "A+ healing" as the doc said. I highly recommend having your procedure here if you need wisdom teeth removed.
