Dr. Kellum was raisedin Memphis, Tennessee. He entered the U.S. Navy after high schooland honorably completed his active duty obligation. Following his military experience, Dr. Kellum received his Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree in Mathematics from Memphis State University. In September, 1974, he was awarded the Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree fromthe University of Tennessee. Dr. Kellum moved toand has practiced inDestinsince 1989,after practicing dentistry in the west Tennessee area.

The emphasis of Dr. Kellum'sdental practice isoncosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Kellum is an active memberof organized dentistry through the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a past president of both his local dental society and that of the Northwest Florida District Dental Association. In recognition of professional dedication to the best possible patient care throughan active involvement in organized dentistry, and the completion of over 1100 hours of disciplined and comprehensive dental study covering all aspects of dentistry Dr. Kellum has received theMaster Award in 2005 from the Academy of General Dentistry. This is the Academy's highest award for continuing dental education. He remains an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry as well as the American Dental Association.

Personally, Dr. Kellum enjoys staying active and is an amateur athlete. He has competed in triathlons since 1984 and is currently working to improve his swimming techniques. He also enjoys training and outdoor activities such as kayaking and hiking. Dr. Kellum considers his work environment ideal, as his wife, Kathy, works in the office as a dental hygienist. He has a son, Tim, who is an attorney in Memphis, Tennessee and a step-son, Steven, who is a pharmacist in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Kellum has two grandchildren--a grandson, Parker, and a granddaughter, Taylor, who he enjoys spoiling.

Above all, Dr. Kellum enjoys caring for people and improvingtheirlives through dentistry. He believes the field of dentistry offers an opportunity for him to provide needed health care to hispatients. He believes in makingpositive changes in the lives of his patientsthrough smiles, thus,further enhancing their personal confidence and positive attitude through dentistry. Dr. Kellum hopes to elevate the health care of his patients to a higher level, which in turn, will elevate their full enjoyment of life.

Stephanie is originally from Virginia but has traveled the world. She graduated from The Medical College of Virginia in 1996 with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is a licensed Dental Hygienist in Florida and Virginia. Stephanie enjoys working in an environment where we treat our patients like family, educate them on health issues, answer their questions, and ease any concerns about their treatment and care. When not in the dental office, Stephanie enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, playing with her two pups, or being outside enjoying everything Florida has to offer.

Elena was born in Chile but raised in North Carolina. She fell in love with the dental field in 2015 when she began her career as a Dental Assistant, with an Associates Degree in Dental Assisting. She graduated with honors from Central Carolina Community College in 2020, with an Associated Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is a licensed Dental Hygienistin Florida and North Carolina. Elena's expertise is demonstrated every day by her love for educating patients on their oral health. She really enjoys meeting new people and developing that personal connection with each and every one. In her free time, Elena enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and trying new food.

Teresa has worked in the administrative side of Dentistry for twenty years and enjoys the 'treasure hunt' that is insurance administration. She joined our team in November and feels she has found a home! Teresa hails from Arkansas, but Ft. Walton Beach has been home for almost 20 years. Her passions in life are her family and friends.........and her OSU Buckeyes!!! When not cheering on her Buckeyes, you can find Teresa on the beach with a book (a real one) and her son. Go Bucks!

Linda earned her Dental Assisting Certificate while working and living in Maryland. Dentistryhas always an interestof hers. Linda has been assisting Dr. Kellum in our office for 13 years. She finds it very rewarding working with Dr. Kellum and making the oral health of our patients our FIRST priority. Linda is an Alabama girl, born and raised. Married to a wonderful man, Rick, together they have two daughters, Heather and Amber. She enjoys working out, photography, interior decorating and reading.

Marissa has worked as a receptionist in the medical field for about five years, but recently fell in love in the dental field and decided to join our team here at Dr. Kellum's! She loves the family-like atmosphere we have in the office. When Marissa is not working, you can most likely find her somewhere on the water. She also enjoys spending time with friends, family and MOST importantly her two pups. Welcome Marissa to the team!
